So much great JY and Tommy Shaw guitar work that just doesn't seem to get much love from the guitar community. So many parts that fit so perfectly into the context of a particular song. And who looked cooler than Tommy Shaw as a guitarists / vocalist on the big stage back in the day...or since?
Tommy would probably be a great interview and doesn't seem to already have social media saturation.
A treat to see him on the Live at Daryl's series a while back.

Awesome solo...that was such a well written song that still brings me chills after all these year's. Can you do the pre-lude to the solo with a hollow body steel guitar? Awesome Job as always...it's as if you were the session player on all of the song's in your videos!!! Keep Rocking it brother!!!
Thank you!! And you know, I’ve thought about doing some videos of some underrated rhythm parts that I may put together in a montage type form and then have all the tab on the screen as we work through things like undervalued verse riffs or opening riffs or chorus parts.
@@sessionsolos You are playing all of my all time favorite solos, my Friend I have played piano for over 35 year's...I have played guitar roughly 20 year's. You are Pro Level, all of your Vibrato, bends, tapping, hammer-ons, pull offs, harmonics, dive-bombs and You Own the tone of every note you play!!! Kudos!!! I have one request, this isn't an easy one, I played this every day to try and get it right, let's just say having shorter fingers and Psoriasic Arthritis in your hands sucks! "Heaven Sent" solo by George Lynch...that was an intense solo.
I’ll get it on the list! Been meaning to cover Lynch for some time now either with my favorite Dokken or Lynch Mob stuff 🤘
