Hirofumi has been the stunt coordinator for Sentai from Go-Busters-DonBrothers. He actually directed two episodes of Geats during the Battle Royale arc. This is his first time being the stunt coordinator for Kamen Rider
Gotchard is basically "Blade 2" and I am for it. The belt is still much to be desired but I like how the furnace like breastplate for the steamtrain card reminds me of Blade's except with a flame gradient upward arrow in between. Plus, HE GOT THE SCARF! Not just a clothing hanging out the suit but actually wrapped around the neck, old school silk looking scarf.
Also OOO because the cell and core metals are made using alchemy.
Don't forget Fourze for the school element.

Now I understand what they meant by “Kamen Rider Yu-Gi-Oh”, the plot is basically the plot of Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal, with the protagonist being tasked with collecting a large amount of plot important cards.
And his catchphrase is what Yu-gi-oh GX's protagonist said in Japanese version anyway

The monsters are called Malgams as in “amalgamation.” So the monsters are botched combinations while Gotchard uses fully alchemized combos.
So that means Gotchard is a Chimera, since if you successfully mixed 2 creatures using Alchemy they turn into Chimera
After reading this, i feel we might get gaimed really hard during gotchard’s run

While they do unintentionally create the monsters (the malgams), I don't think the Chemy themselves are inherently evil but could be influenced by whoever holds them. You could say it depends on their... chemistry together. XD
Joke aside, I wonder if they Chemy, besides the Golddash (the bike), could speak and communication with each other? Kinda like the Engines in Go-Onger or that frog poster in Kamen Rider Shinobi.

Since one of the riders wrote some of Drive, I could see Gold Dash being similar to Tridoron, and possibly be either upgrade or final form armor.
I like the design of Gotchard's signature bike machine....i hope that there will be more motor bike screen time in his series
Keiichi Hasegawa wrote episodes for Fourze, which also took place in a high school setting, and is easily one of the best Kamen Rider series in the early Neo-Heisei period imo. The fun, laughter and heart in that series stayed with me long after it ended. Also, he wrote episodes for Double & Drive, another two seasons of Neo-Heisei that I love. I think Gotchard is in good hands.

Im honestly excited for this series his design is really cool
Blade is one of my favorite toku shows ever, so the Blade vibes from this season make me very exited.
some corrections on the cards in the poster:
- The one you said to be a firetruck is actually a skateboard, named SKEBOWS
- The one you said to be a cowboy is actually a shogun, named APPAREBUSHIDO. SKEBOWS and APPAREBUSHIDO are supposed to be one of the pairs
As for why they put emphasis in Gotchard's cameo in Geats summer movie. I think it's because Geats will be using these for the "final movie" form:
- Geats Oneness ID Core
- Gotchard RaiseBuckle
- A Geats-themed EX Ridechemy Trading Card
the reason why this seems to be a thing because one of the factory leak images showed a few unpainted Gotchard RaiseBuckles with a slot for Ridechemy Trading Cards.
All of the chemie cards seem to be references. Steamliner, Hopper, and Madwheel are obvious, and Pilates is Riderman. So, Skebows and Apparebushido are, if I had to guess, Ex-Aid and Gaim

@@BlobFishSucksAtThings Gotchard is the combination between Hopper and Steamliner, 1 and 9 respectively adding up to 10 allowing them to transform.
The rider has that train conductor theme to his look. As for the buildings maybe decade had something to do with it
The final boss is most likely trying to get the philosopher’s stone or something of equal importance.
He's like a bit of Ryuki/Blade (capture monsters for powers) and a bit of W/Build (combine two powers in driver).... wow, that's a lot of action figures again huh
And the top helmet design kinda reminds me of Ichigo's Helmet. I just hope that Gotchard has the least amount of forms and focus more on card's abilities similar to Ryuki, Decade and Blade.
All I want in Gotchard's form line up will be the Base Form, Upgraded Form, Super Form and Final Form. That's it.

One rumor says There will be three types of cards weapon cards where a monster becomes a weapon attack card where a monster gets summoned and then they do there signature attacks and armor cards where the monster becomes the armor to fuse with rider like gotchards base form hopper liner and gotchard will fight train liner in the first episode to earn him so that means he's gonna only use hopper 1 for the first episode if the rumor is true and I love it if its true lol I three different types of cards with there own uses now that's awesome lol we all know the attack card will be used the most because its the cheapest and wouldn't take probs to do any thing lol
The funny thing is, the Netflix Ultraman season is also about a high schooler becoming Ultraman. What is it with companies and having their shows revolve around highschoolers?

Fourze made me a little nostalgic for my high school years and thoroughly enjoyed it
I think the high school is secretly a Shocker-esque organization. That will explain how the MC would have come across the Gotchard Driver, which is by accident.
I just hope they would show that outright instead of making the school good at first and later reveal as evil.

At first I was gonna stop after Geats because I felt after Geats I'd feel satisfied not watching any more Rider, but dang it Toei, you got me interested in watching Gotchard, I'm more excited for this season now more than ever, I'm loving the whole high school premise and hopefully it works to the show's benefit because I've seen pretty much all of Fourze and yes the high school aesthetic benefitted the season because it felt more natural when the Kamen Rider Club came together because we see all of the members early on but it takes up til right before Meteor's debut for them all to come together as a team, and then because of how Meteor is, he was kinda like Accel, being the secondary Rider that only worked with the primary Rider when it seemed beneficial to them, he didn't become part of the club properly til Cosmic States debut
I think each power ups going to have its own extra attachments . There's no way they would put the power up sounds in the driver and obviously the cards can't have have their own sound

I got a toku idea that involved the clamp series magic knight rayearth and the kamen rider openings and I ask myself what song would put for the 3 rune gods Rayearth, Selece and Windram in the nintendo switch game Super robot wars 30
Maybe you dont know about the series that I am talking about them let me tell you the historyMagic Knight Rayearth focuses on three eighth-grade girls: the tomboyish, headstrong but short Hikaru Shidou (獅堂 光, Shidō Hikaru); the quick-tempered and no-nonsense only child Umi Ryuuzaki (龍咲 海, Ryūzaki Umi); and the intelligent and ladylike Fuu Hououji (鳳凰寺 風, Hōōji Fū). While on a field trip to the Tokyo Tower with their respective schools, the girls find themselves drawn into another world, Cephiro. There they learn that Cephiro is influenced by one's will and that the Pillar maintains Cephiro through prayer. The girls are then tasked with rescuing the current Pillar, Princess Emeraude, from her abductor, the high priest and antagonist Zagato, after which they will be returned to Tokyo.
Guided by the creature Mokona on their quest, the girls discover their respective element-based magic and awaken the three Rune-Gods (魔神, Mashin), creatures who can take the form of giant robots that the girls must pilot. As the girls progress on their journey, they overcome their differences, learning how to work together and accept each other as friends. After the girls find Zagato, they fight and are able to destroy him. After this, they finally reach where Emeraude is imprisoned, but the three learn that she had fallen in love with Zagato, which had hindered her ability to pray solely for Cephiro's well-being. Feeling responsible for her actions, she had imprisoned herself, and eventually summoned the Magic Knights to kill her, as no one from Cephiro could harm the Pillar. Her dark side then takes over, seeking to destroy the Magic Knights for killing her love. After a short defensive fight against Princess Emeraude, the Magic Knights have no choice but to kill her. They then find themselves transported back to Tokyo.
The second part of the series deals with the complications caused by Princess Emeraude's death. Set a year later, it opens with the three protagonists struggling with their guilt and despair over their role in her death. Meeting again at Tokyo Tower, they find themselves transported mysteriously to Cephiro again, and discover that only a single piece of Cephiro remains, which holds a castle where the survivors gather to take refuge. With the Pillar gone, Cephiro is, for the most part, defenseless, and the girls are saddened to learn that a new Pillar must be chosen by the Pillar system before the whole planet is destroyed. Not only that, three warring planets have begun their attempts to conquer the Pillar-less Cephiro: Autozam, a technologically advanced world which intends to use the Pillar system to remove the pollution in its air; Fahren, whose childish ruler Lady Aska plans to use it to turn Cephiro into a world of her whims; and Chizeta, an overpopulated world whose sibling rulers Tatra and Tarta plan to use it to make Cephiro into a colony.
As the Magic Knights help defend the castle, they each agree that the fate of the planet should not be the responsibility of only one person which, like Princess Emeraude, effectively prevents that person from ever being able to live and love freely. What's more, there is a mostly unspoken risk that when a new Pillar is chosen, something may eventually hinder them from praying solely for Cephiro's well-being, cause them to summon new Magic Knights to kill them, and bring Cephiro to near-destruction again until a new Pillar is chosen, causing the cycle of events to continue endlessly. As such, Lantis, a powerful magic swordsman and Zagato's younger brother, wishes to end the Pillar system for those reasons.
Eventually, Mokona narrows the candidates down to two: Hikaru and the sickly Eagle Vision of Autozam, who is friends with Lantis and, as such, wishes to end the Pillar system for him with his eternal sleep. As the two undergo the test to become the new Pillar in a recreation of Tokyo, Mokona reveals itself to be the creator of Cephiro and its laws, both of which it had created after sadly witnessing the violence and destructive nature of the people on its earlier creation, Earth. It was responsible for bringing the three girls back to Cephiro. In the end, Hikaru becomes the new Pillar of Cephiro, and brings Eagle Vision back to Cephiro from the Tokyo recreation with the help of Fuu and Umi, against Mokona's insistence that only one may return. Hikaru then rejects the Pillar system, decreeing once and for all the fate of the planet should not be the responsibility of one person. Mokona accepts their decision and leaves with the three Mashin. The manga concludes with the three girls' returning to a new Cephiro to visit their loved ones, as they work with the rulers of the other planets to solve their planets' problems, and contemplate Mokona's wish to allow the three protagonists to bring change to Cephiro.
Differences in the anime adaptation

The first season remains mostly faithful to the first arc of the manga aside from the inclusion of the original character Inouva and a multitude of subplots, but the second season shows a rapid departure. Most notable differences are the creation of two anime-only antagonists, Nova and Lady Debonair, who were born from the intense despair of Hikaru and the people of Cephiro respectively after the death of Princess Emeraude. It is also revealed by the Rune Gods that the girls were summoned back to Cephiro by their own will, most notably Hikaru's as her strength of heart also allowed her to become the new Pillar, a position she rejects in a similar fashion to the manga.
