Precision has actually the most stickiest ads aim assist from all of them. Its a reward for having better aim because the aim assit bubble is smaller but stronger i was using precision when the ffar was meta and my aim just stuck on the enemy. The downside is you dont get any hip fire aim assist .
you get a bit more aim assist, Not that much. it's just concentrated in one area. but I would never use this because you get 0 rotational aim assist which is the most important for controller players, specially for close range

I guess precision is better for players who are not used to this big bubble around the enemy. When i came from battlefield to warzone i had troubles breaking through that bubble so i ran precision but the rotational aim assist needs to go its just too op especially with the ppsh
When trying to quickscope on controller I get stuck outside that “bubble” often and barely miss easy shots precision seems much better for that use

You probably use dynamic. Dynamic makes your sens very slow compared to your base sens and when you are on console even more
I think precision is better for long shots. It keeps your ads on the target. Default has a large bubble which creates room for error. Just depends on your weapon choice
Precision is the one. It has a smaller window but if you master your guns recoil it will target and stick better and it will tend to try to headset much more. Also if you are more vetted, having no stick on hip fire helps greatly if you tend to crank your sensitivity and slide on fools
hip fire aim assist is a must have for those close range fights tbh. specially in a game with fast ttk, you aren't really going to be able to slide past anyone with slow movement

@@Bandofbros_ I think Cameron is saying the lack of aim assist in hip fire in addition to a high sensitivity makes it easier to to slide on people

You didn’t talk about linear standard and dynamic
So far my least favorite aim assist of COD so far.. The customization is great but it isn’t as traditionally sticky as others especially the Black Ops games even though they designated a setting for it…

@@BeeTheCynic no I’m pointing out the fact that a game feature isn’t working the way it has traditionally. You get used to something for so many years it’s jarring. No wonder I keep losing gunfights to people who exploit aim assist, I've always used precision aim assist and I was wondering why I could't stafe like everybody else is doing and get kills, and now I know its literally because precision AA has no aim assist while strafing which is so dumb.

If I use smoke drone and have a thermal scope does aim assist work or does it shut off? It feels like it's not on but I don't know if it's posed to do that.

I know from dying to it far too often that AA definitely works through the smoke! It's super frustrating as an MnK player. Any explosion/smoke is basically a death sentence in a one-on-one gunfight.
My sticky aim assist disappeared after playing with the settings to help with sniping and now cant get it back despite resetting the options (some will not change) and I dont know what's causing the problem.

The aim assist in this game screws me up especially when tracking somebody. Although don't get me wrong I like aim assist. Honestly I want Red Dead redemption 2 aim assist.

Apparently Black Ops is the absolute most broken aim assist ever. The hell were they thinking.
It's the same. Even jgod did the test. He said the difference was so minimal that it's probably the same because there is no way to test it 100% accurate
yeah its becomming a non skill based game but a woke and inclussive game for everybody. Everyone can be a winner.
