Dear friends and followers, welcome back to my channel. Today is my first collaboration with another RUclips-Pilot, Michelle from Dutchpilotgirl. Michelle and I have known each other for quite some time as we met on Instagram a few months back. Michelle is a pure Boeing pilot, and you know how much I love Airbus. So Michelle and I had many conversations about what is better in either aircraft, until we decided we want to go public with our fight about Airbus and Boeing. Michelle decided to hop onto the next plane from Amsterdam to Munich to continue our fight about those two great airplane manufactures in front of the camera.
We both know that there are thousands of reason which make either plane better or worse. So we´ve only listed a few major ones we thought are worth mentioning. But to sum up, we both agreed on that both aeroplanes are very reliable and safe. And getting type rated on either plane is very exciting. Michelle admitted that she would love to fly the Airbus A380 one day and I would love to fly the Boeing 747. It doesn't matter if you drive a Mercedes or a BMW, both will bring you safely to your destination. The same applies to planes. Be happy to have a job on a plane that is reliable and safe.
This isn´t the last collaboration video with another youtube pilot, Michelle and I decided to do a few more in the future, so stay tuned. And yes Mentor Pilot will hopefully be in an upcoming video too. We are definitely planning on doing that :)
Thank you very much for your time, wishing you all the best!
See you next week

Basically only idiots would say that Boeing planes are as safe as Airbus ones. I mean take a look at the accidents and incidents list from the last 2 decades, over 70% have included Boeing aircrafts and less than 5% have been Airbus aircrafts.
The reason here is, i hate to say it but computers are way way safer than humans, an aircraft where the pilot is in control of everything is not a safe aircraft since humans always make errors.
MyBoolean Variable preach
MyBoolean Variable tell that to the crew of Qantas 72. Pretty sure no pilots appreciate it when a computer takes over their aircraft.
As a long time fan of the Aviation industry, I have to say I just LOVE the dynamic between you two. Highly entertaining! Love you guys! Keep 'em coming! :-).
So far, I have only had the chance to fly an A320 simulator, multiple times! The sidestick was so easy to operate and the feeling was incredible. The cockpit was so spacious and it looked amazing! I can't wait to see what flying a B737 simulator feels like!

@@mikewizz1895 You will be surprised, but 225 could fit a cargo with weight equivalent to THREE fully loaded Boeing 737, or about two and a half Airbus A320. @@owensparks5013 Not very economical considering the plane crashes.

im a boeing fan but this is hilarious lol
Now after finally having the Fenix Airbus A320 simulator and the PMDG Boeing 737 simulator I have to admit that I like both airplanes equally. The Boeing has more comfortable and soft virtual seats so I can imagine seating more comfortable. The vertical awareness display showing mountains and terrain in cool vector graphics is absolute awesome with the terrain map. And the Boeing has a HUD. The negative points of the Boeing are no ECAM just some master caution light with an absolute basic warning message area backlit by lightbulbs saying "ELEC" or "FLT CONT" with no more detailed information. And the autothrust is not reducing the speed according to the flaps setting which I find highly stressful when doing landings. The most positive aspects of the Airbus is it is so lovely to fly thanks to fly by wire, no trimming, and the level of automation is so sophisticated that doing landings is a pure blast (it even reduces speed automatically when having the flaps coming out, wonderful!). The negative aspects of the Airbus are... the navigation display is not as good as in the Boeing.
It was a pure blast learning the simulators of these two planes to finally have a good comparison about the eternal question: What is better, Boeing or Airbus? :D
The true battle of high-tech giants would be Airbus A350 vs Boeing 787 Dreamliner, these are so hypermodern that´s almost like two spaceships fighting each other. Unfortunately there are no good simulators of these two planes released yet.
I cried laughing when she says: the plane is made to fly and not to eat!!! LOL Great quote!

but saying airbus pilot is not in control of the airplane is very stupid. you can take everything manually in every moment, except the auto trim in normal law (in direct law also auto trim is gone). in reality airbus is not that modern, it's Boeing that is embarrassing old

Speaking as a person who tests and troubleshoots the system, Boeing has the HGS option in the 737. This allows the pilot to fly a heads-up manual Cat III approach.

I'm not so sure about that. The 2018 SO survey[1] shows that Java still enjoys a fair amount of popularity with 45.3% of developers using it. That said, Python, which is also written in the C language, has the claim for the fastest growing language.

I was flying them both. First the A320 and then converting to the Boing 737-800.
The main things that really scared me when I flew the 737 the first time were:
1. A look in the main wheel well. (what a mess of pipes, ropes, wires and motors. And when it's raining there is even water rinsing from the wings into the wheel well) 😳
2. Getting into the cockpit seat and seat adjustment 🤪
3. Arming/disarming the door slides and its indication of arming status. 🤣
4. Jump seat operation.😝
Nevertheless I liked to fly them both, but Airbus is definitely the much more comfortable working place.
