Hey Staycation , just to thank you for your nice Video but I justwanted to mention Embark decided to change the ranked mode to improve the Cashout mode for the next Season so it will be more "fair" in terms of 3rd parties and other scenarios and hopefully we will see some improvements but also many players out of the Esport scene wanted the Finals to have the Terminal Attackmode as the ranked.
On the other hand it would also be more slowed down for the newer players who dont know what to do yet.
Most of the time when I played Terminal Attack I had many new players in my team but as they watched me what I did , they addapted and learned how to use their invironment .
In Cashout you dont get a chance to learn pretty fast due to the fast paced scenarios you need to face every 10 seconds after you've spawned.

@@Val-YobIve realized there is no prep or strat play when running Finals... Its sorta like apex, many aspects align and sync to create great plays ... if you have good players. But most casuals will never understand that concept..

Good point about the map maybe being designed for TA. Def sounds like that's the case just going off that description of the map. As you said, time will tell. Also, I didn't pay a ton of attention to it before, but you just reminded me that the World Tour will have a leaderboard (sounds a lot like Fame Points from Season 1, even if it's based on total money cashed out, which these two concepts, let's face it, are probably good proxies for one other, anyway). As a consequence of this, this new concept for Season 3 might be even closer to the "game show" concept that everyone is complaining is being ditched. I get that you don't earn ranked rewards, but if we're just sticking to the story concept that Embark has built up, what you earn ELO for within "THE FINALS" is arbitrary, and now that there is this "CNS engaging in Terminal Attack" concept, TA is on equal footing to Cashout within, pardon the expression, "THE FINALS Universe." While contestants play THE FINALS gameshow within the game (and now with that gameshow situated even more elaborately within the context of a "World Tour"), CNS and VAIIYA/Multicorp (or whatever it's supposedly called) will be continuously battling outside the gameshow in, I guess, the VR code itself (including the idea teased in the trailer of CNS being able to take the TA mode anywhere, including Kyoto in the 1500's). Separately, IRL, we play our own game ("THE FINALS"), which contains both these events going on simultaneously... I know, nerd alert, seriously (and probably nothing original others haven't pointed out elsewhere), but for all the people cryin' about how "This change is not true to the spirit of the game!!!"😭, I would say that is not the strongest argument you could be making and you should just admit you want to earn ranked rewards and you prefer Cashout over TA. I'm actually stoked to see a basically legit ELO in ranked now. And while you can't get a Ruby rank or a Ruby skin in World Tour, it sounded like there are lots of other things you will be able to win in it that people focused on ranked might miss out on. Anyway, just several more features in the game that are bound to be controversial once Season 3 gets going. 😄

One thing I noticed in the trailer at the end is the main temple was actually tipping over it was a literal split second but I think this maps gonna have an actual levolution
even better, it’s organic “levolution” meaning there’s no pre-made animation, it’s just like the bridge on seoul it uses the same destruction as the rest of the game, just in a way that makes it much more consequential

Personally i dont mind terminal coming to ranked but i think they should of kept cashout in the ranked pool and did it like overwatch where ranked picks random modes

The only reason I played this game was for Ranked cash out … was literally hooked I’m very upset Embark comes out with beautiful map yet ruins it by making stupid decision.
It’s actually Kee yo toe according to my Japanese wife, my Japanese coworkers and the rest of Japan. Same pronunciation as Kyo (meaning today) with that said, just carry the same Kyo sound over to Kyoto and there you go (Kee yo toe).

I'm someone who only played the finals a handful of times. I liked it a lot but only really enjoyed the game mode with the moving platform that is a hard point. When I realized that the ranked mode was only with cash out which I didn't enjoy much and had a hard time picking up it basically stopped me from wanting to get better and play more. I can say at least from my pov the change to snd will make me play the game again instead of uninstalling.
The problem is that, no offense, but I've never met anyone that didn't like cashout that was also good at the game. Unfortunately cashout requires more braincells than the other games you play.
I just want Embark to create a Battlefield-esque game. Modern warfare with classes and destruction. That's it.

They changed problematic FUN mode, to problematic BORING, and played out mode for ranked, lol, what a joke...
No new game mode, not even at least 2 new maps is insane i love the finals but thi was the season to bring alot of players back the only thing they have been doing is balancing the game and not focus on what would be good for the game. I think they only care about cool gadget and skin cause people are gonna buy them and they make more money from it so yeah idk the finals is gonna flop just watch come back here later and tell me am lying
