The people from every other country migrated from Africa tens of thousands of years ago, yet ironically, Africa remains a third world country. All of their technology and modern convinces came from people that left Africa. It is weird.

@@chiefkyle1098 being poor by any reason isn't bad, but facilitating China as your guest in belief that China will make you prosperous is not proved anywhere.
Africa has been looted badly by China.
Although there are many reasons, practical solution is too have self interest policies that partly benefits others but long term benefit should come to Africa.
Anyways, it's easy to say but tough to execute so I can not say much about it.

Poor Katanga. At independence the wealthiest part of the Congo due to its natural riches, both in minerals and fertile land. The natives, both African and Belgian united to form an independent democratic state under Moise Tshombe to safeguard themselves from the rest of the chaos of the country. The UN invaded using Europeaan soldiers to install a government subservient to the communist Lumumba regime. They fought, and lost at first, to a local underarmed constabulary of Belgian and local Africans. Eventually they triumphed, exiling Tshombe who was later murdered. The Katanga has since been looted b the corrupt central government, socialist European regimes and international conglomerates favored by those regimes and the UN, who are all bribed by the conglomerates. Local businesses are crushed by large monopolies, who gain power through being run by government favorites and relatives, and an unholy alliance of international "charities" and NGO's, often run as vanity projects by entertainers and celebrities who haven't a clue about ordinary people.
A case study and a warning to the United States now that our government and Condtitution have been overthrown in a coup by those same groups and our country is open for international exploitation by the new regime. Since we've adopted the Congo's election model I'm sure our government model will soon follow.

Katanga, once reach and beautiful was destroyed by the UN and communists.
Rhodesia was next and now South Africa is on the verge of collapse.
Africa will return to the stone age pretty soon.
