@@RoryRevs good eye! Not anymore and it makes me a little bit sad matey! Would LOVE a little lightweight RWD coupe. I have a tastefully modded Golf R that handles great, and has exceptional WAF, but I look at things like old chrome bumper Datsuns with metallic brown paint and I’m immediately unfaithful. 😂

I have a 91 CRX SI with a DOHC ZC which is just the JDM version of this same engine. Mines is mated to a USDM cable transmission and it's been giving me problems even though I fully rebuilt the internals and have 4 poly engine mounts making the engine have almost no movement. Is the transmission mated to yours hydraulic and does not use a cable for operating the clutch?
Oh wow that's awesome! Yea mines a cable type but I aim to convert my CRX to a hydro setup using a conversion plate from Australia (for rhd market)
@@RoryRevs Ah, you tucked the cable then because I was specifically looking for that in the engine bay shot, lol.
I've seen the hydraulic adapters that use a hydraulic system that moves a piston that moves the clutch level arm to disengage the clutch but heard it's not as smooth and requires more force than an original hydraulic transmission, so it's going to feel like a much heaver clutch. But for going turbo, you are going to want to do that because the clutch cable will probably snap when using a stronger clutch that can handle the extra torque from the turbo.
I too plan on a turbo setup. I guess I'll wait and see how it goes for you. Thanks for the info!
