My Dad loved his 1.4 GTa Metro.
Corr I've always loved them! Wicked little car's, I definitely crave one now after driving this cracking 1.1s!
He still goes on about it now despite it being 20 years ago when it was sadly scrapped due to rust, was a K reg as well think it would have been a 75hp 1.4.@@RoryRevs
I had one great car loved it wish I kept it
Great stuff. The 1.1S had the side mouldings and various other bits and pieces from the GTi/GTA. I've owned 5 Metro GTi 16v's and had 2 of them running the 1.8VVC engine pushing 155bhp.
Probably my biggest regret though was not keeping my GTi 16v SE (1 of 500 ever built) in standard condition. I modified it for occasional track use (rollcage etc) and then wrote it off. It would've been worth a fortune nowadays. They were massive fun to drive.

@@RoryRevs if you can see past the image problems they had they're actually great cars. They rust horrendously badly though. That's what was the nail in the coffin for 2 of mine
@TheBlaert thankfully this Metro was garaged all its life and barely driven for many years, I'm immensely jealous of my mate who bought it 😀

Absolutely stunning little metro 1.1. I would quite happily sell my ford galaxy to fund me getting a decent metro which really is getting harder to find as each year passes
