Thanks for this, no other video I found really did this in detail, or at least not in HD. They either already has the bonnet open, had taken the grille off, or were going underneath the car and reaching through. Sprayed some WD40-esque spray on there and managed to jiggle it free eventually - I think mine had just got so filthy and rusted that if wasn't working properly, so I gave it a clean and it seems to work better now. Coolant and washer fluid is all topped up now in any case! Cheers
Hi!!!! Make sure that the primary latch is open. So go into your car and pull the lever for the hood opening. Then try it again and make sure the notch that receives the hood mechanism is in up position.

@@amcrae1 thanks im good now. Problem was some bend in "frame" of lock and temperature outdoor - 10C ;P. But now is ok i was able to fix it. Thanks.
