These Atojos seem like brand new compared to my 110 hour Atojos. But they still function and keep on going even though they look like falling apart. Best boots I have ever ridden.
I have those awesome boots ! My recommendation is to get a nice insole to replace the one inside and to wear a compression socks to have the best feel out of the SRS stiff insoles. Ya man !
I got slightly wider feet (I don't normally need special wide sized shoes), and wanted a boot I could walk around in to take pictures off the trail. I really like my Atojo's, super comfortable all day. The front vinyl is soft and can easily rip, I've had to have mine 'cobbled' to put new material after a minor wipe out. Otherwise, love them.
For a beginner/intermediate Enduro rider, ktm 690, would the larger, round toe box be a negative for shifting? Or for braking and peg feel? Deciding between the Atojo or Sidi X-Power.
I got 25 hr on my atojo n the sole fell off, sidi offered me 40% off new boots, I said foh n ordered SG12s. video on my page. sidi needs to use better adhesive on sole. I used 3M Wind shield glue.
The most important thing in boots and shoes (unless you have very narrow feet) is the shape of the foot part. All feet are different: some are wide in the middle (like mine), while some are wide closer to the toes. Toes also have different shapes and length. But you don't even talk about it, so you probably have narrow feet, so you don't care much. And you do not care to show what the boots look like when viewed from the above and from below. I'd say, get more professional. Next time you are reviewing boots, trace your foot with a thick marker and show it to the viewers before saying that this or that model is "comfortable" - what is comfortable for you may be uncomfortable for others. And trace the soles of the boots you are reviewing. Maybe also remove the insole and show what it looks like.
