Yes she was exaggerating. But elbowing a woman on the chest is the equivalent of kneeing a man on the testicles.
When I was in early stage of puberty, even a gentle nudge to the chest hurt. How many times I had to restraint myself from smacking my friends on the head.
Coming from someone totally uninvolved in Canadian politics, and therefore impartial, it's so clear that he elbowed the women accidentally. And the other women mentioning feminism is truly such an embarrassment to any one who cares about real women right's issues. Actually, this whole incident is somewhat of a joke , testament to the fact that politicians will truly use anything to play the victim of some great injustice.

This is ridiculous. The MP's were clearly intentionally barring the path of the party whip (0:10), swaying back and forth to keep him from being able to get through. You can even see Brosseau laughing about it (0:19). When Trudeau went to clear the way for Whip Gord Brown, Brosseau leaned in behind Trudeau to bar HIS path as well and that's when the contact happened (0:21) instead of respectfully making room like any mature, honorable person would.
She was the one who instigated the contact, along with her imature fellow MP's trying to impede the political process like little immature children.
Why is parliament filled with simpering children? How are these people elected and held in any kind of esteem? It's beyond me. And they're VERY well payed for acting like this.

Are you serious? Seeing this just made my eyes bleed. Trudeau obviously didn't intend on "assaulting" that woman. His main intention was to help out a member of parliament through a crowd of people. He clearly saw that he was being blocked. But what makes matters worse is that they needed to create an exaggerated issue over this and waste time in the House of Commons when they could be doing something better like working together as members of parliament to help Canadians, that is what they were voted in for right?
