It looks like you are attaching 2" or 3" butyl tape and the kit comes with 1" tape? For a firm weatherproof install, should we consider wider butyl tape?

YOU ARE AWESOME AT WHAT YOU DO! You really did an excellent job at making this video! It was easy to understand and follow along with your demonstration. Not just anybody can get in front of a camera and pull it off , but like I said ..by watching your video, I have made my decision to order this product. I am new to owning an rv and the full time lifestyle that comes with it, but I do know that these things require maintenance and products to prolong its life and damage.
So thanks for making this video! It sure gives me the info and confidence!
That should be a recall on slide out to fix the problem that they new about years ago. That is a lot of cost to people that pays alot of money for camper.
There is a lot of upkeep to a camper any way . Thanks for the video it a easy fix but it's to late after the floor is rotten out .
If you would put the lip of the slide ski under the fiberglass panel, then add the side molding you would reduce the chance for water intrusion.

Is there a picture of how it installs underneath? I would like to know how the edge lines up and if it overlaps the edge. Is the new video out yet?

Oh and one more thing…. I noticed some negative comments from others , after I left mine (separate from this one)…..and read my first comment…so you know what I’m referring to..and let’s just say..I meant every word I said..and it’s all good…..I think your video was done right
The ski is 6” wide, although in the video, it appears the ski has been trimmed down to 3”. Can this product be installed between the slide floor and slide rollers? Would liked to have seen the final installment from the inside. For $100, I would think you could include the putty tape.
10 ft of tape is included. We are working on a new video. Hopefully the installation instructions on our website can help. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Of course “They” recommend hiring a professional rv tech! Some of those guys and gals are the most useless, I’ve ended up fixing their repairs a number of time, like gas and water leaks.
I quit working at the dealership for that exact reason and started my own mobile service. It's even worse than the auto industry.
$90 for a set of $5 injected molded plastic? Can you say Flexseal?!
That’s ski is not for water protection 🤦🏻♂️ it’s to help the slide in and out, think before you speak

This video was basically useless
I wouldn't let the gentleman in the video do anything to my Rv, he had everything pre done and didn't even seal up the molding or the screw's.
