They are so similar because of the Latin Monetary Union (LMU), in which a lot of European countries took part in during the second half of the 19th century. These coins are just up my alley: beautiful, rather large silver coins.
This is the most crown sized coins I've seen in one place at any time. Although I don't collect those I can still appreciate the beauty of these coins.
World silver coins are my favorite coins to collect.Sometimes they can be difficult to identify even with books and apps but I guess that's the fun of collecting them.I'm hoping to pick some up tomorrow from my local dealer.
I realy love this 0.900 silver 25g coins of the latin coinage treaty era. That wasn't just currency but also valuable bullion one could keep somewhere safe, instead of the fiat currency. You're screwed if you kept paper bills pesetas, italian lire, german marks from the ww2 era etc.

Another gem of a video. Love the detailed coin unboxing.

It’s really fun to see the variety of designs across so many countries and times!

Beautiful coins looks like they’ve all been cleaned.
