All about them. The blinded understanding of the simple fact. All the time, effort, Huge risks a man will take & do for a woman means nothing to them. They will always overlook all that you do for them. For their own selfishness. You could Fulfill all their selfish needs/wants. For them to never come to realize. How rare it is to find a man that couldn't offer you kids or a big family & knows that. So he will do whatever else it takes to make her happy. Even if it kills him....He could even adopt multiple children & create this huge family/life for them & She will still not respect, appreciate or be satisfied with any of it. Because they couldn't actually have a child of their own. So that's where she will collect everything else she can twist in her ungrateful selfish mission of why that man's worthless, not enough or whatever else her delusional self being comes up with. For reasons of leaving. There is a reason why 80% of divorces are filed from women. It's not because all men are trash, cheaters, liars or manipulators. That's mostly all self reflection of a woman's actions that she cannot or even wants to acknowledge 90% of the time. And society has catered a lot to this delusion. By not holding women accountable with pretty much every bad decision they make. Real Love is not based on what a Man can provide for you. If that's the case. This should be all the proof needed for any man to come to realize. Those conditions could be endless with that understanding of Love from a woman. Men Love Women so much more. Then a woman loves a man.. Men Love Women for real. Women love Men for Opportunities in which he can provide & that is endless when coming to an ongoing selfish outlook in life. Lived by a woman.

The story of Ira and Ruth felt more real to me ... for the first time , I saw a couple share a life together with high and lows . Luke and Sophia in contrast... were more of the same.

I hadn’t cried for a long time as I’ve reached a stage where nothing actually makes me cry. Ruth and Ira’s story reminded me of my late grandma and grandpa and it made me cry like a little baby for a good couple of minutes!
Okay, I watched the trailer and i was like "well... I don't know... maybe..." I finally watched the movie and was literally blown away! One of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched. If like me you're questioning whether it is worth watching or not I guarantee you it is!

Just watched this movie. I like the surprising storyline between Ira and Ruth. Some scenes almost had me in tears, like when they revealed a note Daniel McDonald wrote on the back of the photograph of Ira and Ruth....
For me, that place where Ira releases Ruth and tells her he wants her to be happy even if that happiness won't include him forms the most powerful expression of mature and true love.
I read the book after watching the movie and I must say that both are equally amazing. I loved that the movie had a bond between Sophia and Ira. While the book showed the relationship more of Ira and Ruth. Beautifully written and told thumbs up from me.

what i can catch from this movie is that there is two kind of love, the first being the realistic one is story of sophie and luke which is at first they so in love but yet dreams seperated them and they think they can't make it work, the second one is truest form of love, which is when ira and ruth willing to give their dreams off to be with eachother, and yet they live a beautiful life.

Anyone who thinks this is another bull riding movie your wrong. This is more of a love story spanning over 70 years. Awesome acting. It's a nice sappy movie, perfect for those of us who want the fairy tale ending instead of the real life ending we usually get.
I think, somehow, we can get a chance to get such a love, but, all the characters sacrificed a lot to have the love they wanted. As Ira tells Sophia, "Love requires a sacrifice." By the way did you get lucky?

I must say it is a nice movie.But in this movie they met,they talked,they fell deeply in love,they grew apart,again came closer and so many wonderful moments were there. But to my utter surprise they didn't say 'I love you' to each other not even once.They said they liked each other though the movie showed they were deeply in love.but a great movie indeed. And to all those people who are thinking that the trailer showed the whole story it is not true.there is one whole other side of the movie that the trailer didn't show.The ending was amazing.This movie is really worth watching :)

i felt that luke did not fully sacrifice everything for his and sophia's future though.. he only did give up on the bull riding after he has won the competition.. (he was satisfied with his achievements and adrenaline rush, thats what i think) then only he realised that he wanted sophia. if he loved her as much as ira did to ruth, he would've given up on anything right at the start just to be together with sophia. its just my opinion:) lovely movie still

I must say it is a nice movie.But in this movie they met,they talked,they fell deeply in love,they grew apart,again came closer and so many wonderful moments were there.
But to my utter surprise they didn't say 'I love you' to each other not even once.They said they liked each other though the movie showed they were deeply in love.but a great movie indeed.
And to all those people who are thinking that the trailer showed the whole story it is not true.there is one whole other side of the movie that the trailer didn't show.The ending was amazing.This movie is really worth watching :)

Absolutely love this! Got the film only a couple of weeks ago now and I must of watched it at least 20 times. AMAZING and also makes me cry near the end- still, its great.Who Agrees that its great?

i felt that luke did not fully sacrifice everything for his and sophia's future though.. he only did give up on the bull riding after he has won the competition.. (he was satisfied with his achievements and adrenaline rush, thats what i think) then only he realised that he wanted sophia. if he loved her as much as ira did to ruth, he would've given up on anything right at the start just to be together with sophia. its just my opinion:) lovely movie still
