NERDS. Really? Twice? That's just dumb. As for loud pipes? At least you didn't say because FREEDOM bullshit. Aftermarket pipes on a Harley are really fucking annoyingly loud. Even Vance and Hines on a 05 Vulcan 800. I prefer a purr not a roar. I want to hear my engine, not just my pipes.

I'm a Kanuk, so I'm not eligible to win any motos. Such sadness. :(
That last one doesn't make any sense. My cousin's Harley has WAY MORE storage space (even with my aftermarket saddle bags) than my Yamaha V-Star and he's got a longer mileage range. He has a fuel gage and mine don't. So... how is a Harley not a practical bike?
I OWN a metric cruiser and I'm asking this. (I bought what I can afford, don't hate.) I will probably NEVER buy a Harley, but I won't hate on them.
If I find myself in a a situation where I've replaced my truck that got wrecked, my bills are caught up, we've bought that hot tub we've been wanting, and I have a little disposal income I probably will get a Harley.
(By that time I'll probably need a trike)

"Since 2015 theyve been making water cooled engines"
Only 35 years behind the curve. Maybe the government can bail them out again in a few years
They started vrod development in 97 so technically since 97. 02 was first production year. So yea, they've been working on the NEW liquid cooled revolution max since 2015.
But they think everyone is chasing after the dying dinosaur..... ok
@@jppitch6734 Every other brands cruiser bikes are very obviously designed to take away sales from Harley. Well at least it’s not a Harley. That’s not jealousy, that’s relief.
MAYBE I’M JUST LUCKY WITH THIS BIKE, but I bough a 1984 Yamaha XV 700 for under 1000 with full windscreen, real leather saddlebags, no tears in the seat or sissy bar, it has a shit ton of chrome, no dings or dents, and under 19000 miles. In one year, I doubled that, and now it’s pushing 80000. NO ENGINE PROBLEMS AT ALL! What sold me on it was the driveshaft instead of a chain or belt. The sissy bar is very usable for my trunk which can hold a 24 pack of water plus other groceries. Not to mention what I could pile in the saddlebags. I thought I would buy this until I could save up for a Harley or an Indian, but I love this bike. It has never broken down, and the famous problem with the starter clutch I solved with the removal of the spring, buying a brand new gear for around 60 bucks, and putting on a four brush starter.
Gonna get me a gang of Versys riders to together and it will be the revenge of the nerds!

Point #8: I used to own a (Yamaha) 650 cc V-Star Classic. It was a great bike to learn proper riding techniques and cruise around town. I owned it for 10 years before trading it in on a used Harley (Electroglide) Limited. The Harley weighs almost twice as much as the V-Star, 900+ lbs vs. about 500 lbs, yet I can do things on my Harley WITH A PASSENGER that I would never dream of doing (or even attempting) on the "little-ish" V-Star, like u-turns on a residential street. The big bike seems to make maneuvers such as this easy.
Well said, I’ve been riding my vstar 650 custom for a year (first bike) and love that thing to death… but as I develop more as a rider I will probably end up doing something similar. Don’t get me wrong I got nothing against my star 650 but it’s just not quite there for the type of riding I want to do.
@@daltonsweiger5102 just get a 1300 xvs, or the roadster 1800
I dunno man, I kinda disagree with a lot of this video. I got into my very first bike, a 2020 V-strom 650, looking for most of the stuff they were putting down in this list. I wanted a bike that was practical as motorcycles go (Tons of luggage options and aftermarket support), wasn't loud and obnoxious, would be low maintenance and reliable, and while I wanted it to have the power and range to go on long highway road trips I wasn't looking for a monster of a machine. I just wanted something I could use to tour with one buddy and go ride some off road trails with another while getting the most for my money. I commute to work daily on it when I can during the summer months and I think I got a solid machine for a great price. Not all folks looking for a motorcycle are lookin' to be up in everyone else's face about it, some just want to have a bit of their own fun.
Agreed.
Sounds like somebody couldn't afford a Toyota Corolla and had to compromise...
@@dimman77 That's not really saying much . . . the 2021 the Toyota Corolla was the best-selling car in America with over 1.1 million sales. Two Corollas were sold every minute. Global car sales grew from 64 million during the pandemic in 2020 to 67 million in 2021. Let's see what they do this year.
I have a sportster with 1250 kit, a old cbr600f3 and now 2011 vstrom 1000, I never paid much for any of them 13k Canadian in the whole bunch. I like them all for different reasons but the vstrom is the better bike to spend a day on,
You make some great points but I would still rather have the Rebel 1100 over any Harley at the same price point
Reliability; if Harley riders cared about it, the V-Rod would still be with us.
And thinking about fuel economy while riding a motorcycle is like thinking about meiosis while having sex.
They ARE reliable and get pretty good MPG if you keep you're wrist out of it to enjoy the stump pulling torque.
@@ZombieZim713 ive seen more metric cruisers broke down on the side of the road than Harleys 👀 more than any type of bike, even more than clapped out crotch rockets 😹
@@DefZen343 What are the sales figures for metric cruisers vs Harleys?
@@aaronleverton4221 probably pretty high considering how fast people are scrapping them 🤔 bmws, japanese touring bikes like a versys650 or similar and harleys are always in good shape, no matter the miles and the age, guess most people who buy a metric cruiser has no intention of maintaining them 😔
@@DefZen343 The reason I ask is because if there are more of one kind of bike than another then you are going to see examples of that kind of bike broken down more often. That's just how numbers work.
All Harleys should be named "Heritage Hemorrhoid Geezer Glide." They should come with a tassel and leather clad donut seat and a tank of breathing oxygen.
😂
The big thing about "I still have my hearing" is that most hearing damage on a bike is due to wind noise, not your exhaust.
And now for something completely different: I bought a Suzuki M90 Boulevard because I wanted a liquid cooled engine (I live in the city, commute on my bike, and didn't want to roast my nuts; if HD had made a liquid cooled motorcycle in my budget, I'd have bought that). Looking back, I should have bought a different bike, as the aftermarket support for an M90 is garbage and that is part of the reason why I got a good deal. Even a more obscure modern HD gets tons more aftermarket support than my bike.
Still a great bike though
Wow yall took no prisoners with this one hahaha
20 year metric cruiser guy here. Very funny video and I guess if I was buying a new cruiser it would be HD or Indian. But there are so many good cruisers from 2000 to 2009 with less than 20,000 miles on them. I just can't see buying new.
I owned a HD full dresser for 6 years. It was a nice bike. Now I have a Honda, it is a nice bike and cost 1/4 of the price of the HD. Oh, and I can drive to work more than once on a tank of fuel.

Another great video guys! I cut my teeth on an SV650 but now that I’m an old (41) man...I finally became a Harley boi after always wanting one. I definitely got a lot of bang for my buck as I bought it gently used from a friend. I say I “rescued” it from him as it is a 2012 Softail Blackline 103ci and only had 4000 miles on it😳😳. I fully acknowledge that there are tons of more refined bikes out there, and I’m just a fan of bikes in general, but I love my bike and that’s what matters. @ blazortheepic03 it’s in zee blood.
What put me off a Harley Davidson is the need to upgrade it with a stage 1,2,3,4 to get a decent ride out of it, where my metric cruiser rides fantastic straight off the showroom floor.
As someone who has loved Harleys my whole life and been riding and working on them for almost three decades, there's one serious problem that I've never encountered on any of my Japanese bikes, i.e. you can't let a Harley sit very long before they just rust to pieces.
Harley owners today are basically the exact same people who bought Harleys 50 years ago. The younger generations don't want to spend all morning washing and polishing all that chrome before they take it out on the road which is probably why Harley is building all these blacked out no-nonsense bikes now. Even so, I don't think that's going to save Harley.
As much as I practically idolized the bikers and gangs thundering down the highways when I was a kid, the novelty has worn too thin for me to take these clowns seriously anymore. After hanging out on poker runs or riding only a few miles with these guys I suddenly realized that the vast majority of them are complete imbeciles.
I'm a former Sportster owner that chose the American alternative, an Indian Scout. The Sportster was fun, but the Scout is more fun and a lot faster.
The Indian does not count, its actually cool....Though the FTR line is more my speed.
I'm a sport bike rider...however if I ever got a cruiser it would be a HD 883 SPORTSTER..that bike has character n soul!! Sounds ammmmazing n just looks freaking awesome!! In the cruiser world there's HARLEY n everyone's fighting for 2nd place..great review Yams !

I still don't understand why chrome gets so much hate lately. It's a high luster, protective, corrosion resistant coating (like, you know, paint) with the added benefit of actually being hard wearing (unlike paint). Sure, covering an entire bike in chrome is a bit much, but for accents and accessories I don't see why people dump on it so much. It's easier to clean and less likely to scratch, the only real downfall is that it doesn't really come in multiple colors.
Yup. I have an 18 HD deluxe, covered in chrome. It takes me 2 minutes to wipe it down, and cleans easy with just steel wool. And for all the hate out there for chrome I sure do get a lot of compliments on it.
My most recent motorcycle is for taking the kids to school, and grocery shopping.

Me who commutes by motorcycle everyday: 😌
sameee
Yea, almost feel personally attacked for intentionally buying a CB300F to be economical. Guess I need to go buy a busa.
I recently got back into riding. I am 57 yrs old and was seriously looking for something I could commute to work. My drive to with is 64 miles round trip and the Hemi Magnum was eating me alive in gas. Seriously over 550 dollars a month. I am past the point in my life for weaving through traffic and knee grinding twisties. I like the big obnoxious cruisers but did not like the price tag of the HD. I researched for about 2 months. I ended up with an 03 Honda VTX 1800S. Only 8K miles and snagged it for about 4k. It had been a while since I have mounted a bike so the weight was a thing for sure. A few months later though and I barley notice. Now I know this isn't the fastest thing out there but as they say, "no replacement for displacement". That 120 LB Ft of torque is a kick in the pants. And I feel pretty safe on the interstates with this monster. I know, should have just got an HD, but honestly, I did not want to pay twice as much for possibly a lesser bike. I have always had Hondas and they just run. Which is what I was looking for in a machine. And PS. I do have full gear. I am not into having my skin and brains all over the asphalt.
The only one I relate to is not having a loud exhaust. I do have to worry about loud exhausts in my area for decibel machines with cameras that will ticket you for noise. And I have to leave early in the morning and home late, and my neighbors are all old retirees who would put in a complaint. Not about "not having fun", but it is not the reason why I ride
I got my Yamaha cause it was the right price at the right time, but I love it
As long as u ride that's all that matters
Hey that’s great! I love my Yammy big 1900 sofa liner. It looks great too.
My vstar is comfortable on my 140 mile round trip to work everyday and it Cost me $3000. As long as I’m on two wheels I don’t honestly care what the tank says.
Beautiful rebel 300
Have owned 3 metric bikes and 1 Harley and loved them all. Low rider is my current ride and a Honda also. Ride what you like and like what you ride, no wrong answer 👍
I just bought my first motorcycle, a 2011 Yamaha Vstar 250, 10 days ago and have been riding constantly (so much fun) and when somebody doesn't wave back it's almost always been a Harley rider. Why so serious? 😅
The littlest V star reminds them of the entry level bike they should have put out 30 years ago but didn’t
Spike: “Hard to be a Rebel when you look like everyone else”
Me: looks at my Honda Rebel... Ffff...
Also me: [does mirror flip]
I've had two metric cruisers (HARDLY Davidson's if you will...) I was sure that this time around I would get an HD to see what the hype was all about. But the hype costs money and in the end I grabbed a Yamaha Raider because on the used market, your dollar really does go further
Just opening a couple tabs in my browser, you can get the Suzuki C90T: their mid-level cruiser with a touring package, all 1462 cc's of it, with windshield, bags, the works: $13,049. Compare that to a bare-bones soft tail standard...just the bike alone, no windshield, no bags - I don't even think it comes with a passenger seat - it STARTS at $13,949! That's just one example, but if you don't care about the name on the tank, it's really a no-brainer!
When talking about older bikes, I’ve been told the reason to buy a Harley over a metric cruiser is the availability of parts
That’s about the only thing HD is good for lol. Their bikes are so unreliable they make more money selling replacement parts than they do bikes....
@@jonjonbrock the irony is they are fairly reliable bikes in stock configuration, but they generally perform like crap so putting on aftermarket parts is a given.
@@jonjonbrock to give them credit, I do know of any brand in history who sells culture better than Harley Davidson. People actually get the HD corporate logo tattooed on the body and I don’t know of any other company who has reached that level of clout🤣
I got my first metric cruiser Honda vtx 1300r for a good deal. I would love about everybody thinks it’s Harley. Except for the Harley bros. They can see my metric cruise a mile away.
I've owned 2 Harleys and one metric. There was always something going wrong on the Harleys. We used to say, "If if doesn't have an oil leak, it's not a Harley". But I did enjoy riding them most of the time. When I got my metric, I really liked how light and nimble it was, and how much more advanced it was than the Harleys. Never had much of a problem mechanically. But it didn't look as good and wasn't as comfortable as the Harleys. So if I want something that looks good, is comfortable for all day rides, but is also light and nimble with modern features, I'd probably go with something like the Triumph Speedmaster as it seems like the best of both worlds.
Bought my vulcan 2000 because i wanted the biggest motor for the least amount of money lol. Its like when you buy the great value brand of something only to realize you actually like the taste just as much as the name brand but for thousands of dollars less.
Just not a Harley guy, Yam. Got 2002 Sabre 1100 and I love it. My dream bike is an '86 Shadow 1100. Just really like the style of it. In my experience, a lot of "Harley Boys" are condescending elitists who just want to shit on anything that isn't a Harley and make somebody feel less than because they didn't buy the "Sony of the motorcycle world". Not my style, man. Ride what you like because YOU like it and enjoy yourself.
I see Diavel was never allowed to enter the chat.
It's a sport bike with cruiser ergos. Let's b honest here. And it's not a "metric". It's a euro bike. And that's like a class of its own.
Metric cruiser girl here. And a nerd. I love watching Fortnine's analyses of all sorts of bike topics with actual physics. Plus I enjoy the occasional game of DnD with friends. So big time nerd, but I'm a chick who rides, soooooo I think that balances out the nerdiness, yeah?
Honestly, if money were no object I probably would have gotten a Harley for my first bike. As a kid I rode on the back of my brother in law's HD and thought all bikes were HD until I was a teen. Always wanted one and now, I'm not so sure. I purchased a 2004 Honda Shadow 750 and I love her! She was far easier to handle and ride than the Harley I learned on during my MSF. The clutch and throttle were both very forgiving and I didn't feel like I was sitting on a child's bike. She is loud and beefy enough for me. Also, it's a shaft driven bike which takes the chain maintenance out of the equation. I know we are discussing new bikes for newbs, but I cannot help thinking that beginners should not be buying new anyway.
Off topic, I appreciate you having a lady rider join your show. While I love you and Spite, and you two are a big reason I finally got up on 2 wheels, why not add a weekly or even a monthly show where it's just her. Ya know for us gals. A woman has unique needs on a bike. Like a lower seat height for example. And it seems she digs cruisers. Most of the female riders I see are on street bikes, so it's cool to see another girl on a cruiser.
Also I love, love, love that you have been leaning into cruisers!!!
All Harley's have belt drive since the mid 1990's. I have owned 7 H-D's and in over 250K miles of riding have never had to replace a belt.
The reasons I strongly considered metric cruisers over a Harley or Indian is just because there were waaaay more options in my area to choose from within my budget. I'd take a brand new Scout Sixty over a brand new Vulcan 900 Classic, but there are like 6 Vulcan 900's for every Scout in my neck of the woods and they all cost about $3-4k less (brand new). When we're talking about comparisons between the two, they're really the same thing, just different styling for different tastes - at the end of the day, you're still getting cruiser performance and cruiser handling.
I think that is one reason why people like Indian/H-D. You might see 5 people riding a vulcan 900 in your town/city but you might be the only person riding an Indian or H-D in your area. Its that uniqueness it brings when you ride one. I myself want to be unique. Not just another guy who rides a vulcan.
@@gerdz101 yea I totally get that, which is one of the reasons why I'm really drawn to the Indian, and the bike I'm 99% most likely going to end up actually buying lol
@@johnjohnson5496 nice. Grats man.
I got a 2007 Shadow 750 for $2100. It has been my only form of transportation for 4 months. Super reliable when you need it and very practical with a tail bag. Great for commuting and nice on long trips. A comparible sportster would have been over twice the price and performed not nearly as well. Have never regreted my decision.
I get what you’re saying, but sportsters are super reliable. By far HD’s best bike. I do the bare minimum maintenance on mine, and the only issue I’ve had in two years was my negative battery terminal rattling loose, and my rear engine isolator spacer falling off.
That’s it.
Never have I been so offended by something I 100% agree with. Gas mileage, better handling, more reliable, don't care about chrome or being the loudest around. Yep.
I like the cruiser look. That's it. Give me the better engineering and control all day. To be a full heathen, I'd even take an electric if they made one with the cruiser look.
Same, I just got a 94 Honda shadow 1100 for less than two thousand and rode it a thousand mile round trip to new Orleans. Couldn't give a shit less about sticking out in a crowd of bikes, ride solo mostly anyway
Here in Australia, I bought a brand new Kawasaki Vulcan 900 because it was the best bike that suited my needs. The Harley Davidsons that also suit my needs would be the Sport Glide or the Low Rider S, as they all have the big 5 gallon tank.
I spent $14000 on the Vulcan, the Low Rider S and Sport Glide cost $28000
None of my metric cruiser riding buddies say any of the things you mention, come to think of it my Harley riding buddies don't say the typical Harley stuff either. Then again I don't live in the US.........
Have ridden many of the brands available in the states, for dirt I prefer Honda, but out riding (be it work or recreation) I will always go with Harley.
I ride an indian at this moment but anywho, on the quiet exhaust part I keep mine stock (quiet) for stealth camping. Plus makes long days easier instead of hearing droning
Yeah. If I ever change out the exhaust on mine, it'll be less about the sound and more about upping the performance.
HD are making bikes for latte sipping fairies these days.
Skinny jeans, man purses and fresh tatts to look cool lol
No no, that's who Triumph makes bikes for...
95% of Harleys are still on the road since being built. The other 5% made it home lol. BTW I hated my Sportster. Mostly cos it was the 79 AMF hahaha. Though I do have a 78 XS1100 now so I'm quite happy. Great vid as always chaps.
Today I just bought my first motorcycle!! Your videos helped me a lot to commit and so far is the best feeling ever... thank you !!!
Sorry no Harleys around here.
I'd rather PUSH a matric cruiser than ride a Harley.
They're such a vanity purchase & status symbol !
Nothing says:
"Unknowledgeable, low skill, big coin, weekend Motorcycle warrior, than a New Harley"
Any make that sells more out of social pressure / show off merit than ACTUAL EXCELLENCE will be a disappointing ride indeed.
Besides with a metric cruiser or ADV (V-Strom 4 me) you can just FIRE YOUR MECHANIC, these Japanese makes last reliably forever with basic maintenance.
Why I didn't by a Harley? When I walked into the dealership in 2015, I wandered around for about 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged by the sales person. After talking to him, he decided that I could not afford it, so I went to the Yamaha dealership across the road, was welcomed there immediately. Fell in love with a used 2012 Roadliner, (was looking to buy new, but what the hell only had 4000 KM on it) Paid cash drove it home and called the Harley dealer to let them know my impression of the way the do business. I guess I wasn't the right fit for them. Won't darken a Harley dealership again because of that.
Versys 650LT is life! It rides over the vibrating bones of terrible cruisers with its awesome suspension and power wheelie’ing fun.
Ive got an 06 softtail nightrain, ape hangers, no fairing, loud pipes, bored out... I still love your videos and laugh at dentist's weekend geezer glides they bought for 50k. Keep making funny videos and ride what you like.
why bothering having an exhaust when you can just remove the tailpipe and the catalyst to make your bike extremely loud
no just kidding, you will be hated by your all neighborhood
NO NERDS! Love it!
You guys don't get it, Harleys handling like crap is actually a safety feature. You don't want to go in to a corner to fast when you more than likely have the rear tyre drenched in oil from that halfway screwed together 35 horsepower/litre stone age heritage engine. Harley just has your back!
The proper response to anyone making fun of your bike is to tell em "fuck off? Do you think I give a shit what you think? " and then ignore them.
Million reasons to get a Harley Davidson.
I Got my 2000 Suzuki Intruder 1400 for $2000 because it was available. Love it to the moon and back!
Still want a harley tho.
I have a Honda Shadow 600 (my starter bike!) and a Yamaha 1300 V-star. I bought both of these for less than half of what a comparable Harley would cost, and I have 100% of the fun. In my opinion there's only one reason that truly matters here, and it's Money. I've ridden a few Harleys, and honestly, it's just not worth all the extra money, especially with used bikes.
Edit: Also, I'm a nerd. Suck it.
The truth it’s that I’m a metric cruiser rider and it’s just because I can’t afford a Harley dude... it’s just to expensive for me right now, not get me wrong, I love my bike but.. I’m not out there saying that kind of shittie stuff, I love to se Harleys on the road and some day I’d love to have one, but right now I’m just okay with my bike! And I think that’s it, be happy with the stuff you got.!
My first bike was a 2005 R6. Second bike was a 2006 R6 🙄 stupid fun! But stupid impractical bikes. I went to school and was certified in Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki. In those early year I talked a lot of trash about Harleys.
Then I ended up working for a dealership that sold all four major imports (it was an old Home Depot, it was a huge shop!). I inspected, fixed, and test rode every bike that came in on trade in, plus every bike I assembled. Needless to say, I rode a lot of different bikes.
When it came time to buy a more “practical” bike than the crotch rocket, I bought a Harley-Davidson.
I love Harleys because they are Harley’s. There’s nothing like them. And you like what you like. Metric cruisers are great. I love the Rebal 500. It’s a great bike! It’s one I considered buying recently. But I bought another Harley. Because i can’t shake the desire for the look, sound, and feel of a Harley.
Buy what you like. Ride what’s going to give you the most joy while your ride. They are all fun because they are a two wheeled machined. Honda metropolitan all the way up to the Harley Road glide.
.
Suzuki Boulevard C50T here, I think it's all hilarious. Get yourself a bike you like, don't rag on anyone else for their choices, it's that easy 😂 just because you picked it, it doesn't mean it's there best option for everyone. My Dad has a 1200 Sporter, I rode it and felt cramped, the air cleaner dug into my knee and I'm only 5'8. It was a blast to ride, though, just like any motorcycle. My first bike was a Suzuki DR350, and my Dad says "when you gonna get a real" bike (at this time he was a Kawasaki fanboy) and I said, "can you take a bagger down trails like you can a dual sport, because that's a real bike." Either way, just have fun riding.
i had a metric cruiser and i always thought to myself, shouldve gotten a harley. now i have a harley and i have ZERO regrets.
EDIT - lol except for the loud ass exhaust. the old owner put on some vance and hines and its too loud for me. gotta pack the baffles/exhaust to quiet it down a bit
Crazy how loud v&h are!
,,,and another reason is outside my favorite watering hole nobody's going to steal my Honda surrounded by all those Harleys.
It was Suzuki's large Intruder that, with its 1360 cubic centimeters, was the first Japanese chopper to just exceed the capacity of the fat 1340 Harleys in the second half of the 1980s. What mattered even more: She was taken seriously even by the die-hard Harley fan base.
My Yamaha XV1700pcm is like a Harley Davidson that made love to an R1. Best muscle cruiser ever made.
Harley Davidson wouldn't give me a credit limit big enough to get a new bike.
Yamaha got me a line of credit so I got a new 2012 vstar 950T
Lol I'll add 2 as a metric rider. . "I can have the same fun as any HD rider for a quarter of the price" "HD are over priced for purchase and parts." I love HD but the price always keeps me off them it's a little too much money for a toy.
The video: metric cruisers vs Harley
My head: bruh when do cruiser riders shut up
They’re just sad they couldn’t get a H2 as a starter bike
As a Harley fan boy I must say fuel economy is the best indicator of the engines health
Meh I picked up my Suzuki Savage (S40) for $500. Great bike.
Yes they are, mine's done over a 174,000 km's .
I have an 06 Suzuki s50 no fuel gauge no traction control duel carbs and a drum rear brake . It's the only bike I've ever had and I love it
Thanks for taking it easy on Harley's this time. I know they have issues but I love them!
Lol when number 3 came up I'm like " my bike doesn't get very good gas mileage" then he mentions a VMAX, which is the bike I have 🤣
If you have a vmax your about as concerned about fuel economy as a biscotti boy is about maintenance fees 😂
You sir have the perfect cruiser bike!!!
@@gregsheffey5191 Thanks! You have one also?
Nice. Some day im going to ride one of those. What year do you have
@@shirone100 2003. I used to have a 1998 Virago 1100. Not as fast but I really liked that bike also.
"I wanted something modern, not Fred Flintstones bike"
Even with fuel economy, my Scout got about 50 a gallon and my Chief gets about 47 so.... I really don't care as long it goes vroom
My only mistake was i shouldve bought more gucci with all the $$$ i saved on my bike
I feel like when people say "My X bike is more reliable, fuel efficient and only got it for x amount of dollars compared to your Harley" is like weird flexing their riced Honda Civic against a Mustang.
Spot on brotha
The mt109 Is no ricer lol
2007 Honda VTX1800T. $8,700 new. Bring your own seat belt.
Noob and Spite both woke up together one morning and said. Well hot dangit its time to meme.
I want Spites face on a shirt. Make it happen.
I may be a nerd, but at least I’m confident enough in my masculinity to not need a bi-wheeled burping fart to yell it at coworkers in their yee machines around the office park.
LOW T DETECTED
Well it’s funny because I have a Suzuki boulevard m90 and I’m working on going from that to a Harley because I realized I was kidding myself chasing that Harley feel without the Harley badge
I went to a showroom that sold every conceivable bike. Sat on Dynas, Fat Bob, Fatboys Victory’s Tammy’s and every other bike that was there. I was about to leave and wait for the perfect bike FOR ME to come in later. Then I saw her! Yamaha Raider and after riding her I new I made the right choice for me. Just ride gang.
You buy a Harley because you want a Harley, when you spend a lot of your younger life around harleys like me it’s hard to not get sucked into it by family members, love the video you guys show do more like this
Exactly, I grew up around them as well. When it came time to purchase a bike harley it is. Do I have any regrets absolutely not.
@@parkersgarage4216 exactly, don’t get me wrong though from watching yammie I’d love to try ride many other types of bikes, harleys are just my go to
@@somebiker3459 I fully agree, I'd like to try them all tbh. I've owned a grom and ridden a car 600rr and gsxr 600 so far. I like all bikes to be honest.
#6 "At least I still have my hearing" I'm running open pipes on my VTX. I'll put it this way. I live in the country, I don't have to worry about hitting deer.
When he did was talking about reliability i was think: years me alright. My thought process being I'd rather be riding than fixing.
I definitely feel the get more for your money thing kinda works better in the used market... because the metrics tent to tank in value far faster than harley. I got 100hp/130+ftlbs 2053cc of 04 vulcan 2000 for under 5 grand... the same year and priced harley is an anemic 88ci couch. To get similar performance and ridability I was having to look at 103 and 107 bikes. Am I wrong?
I own a Bolt, and I thought this video was hilarious
