Amazing!
Thank you!!
Awesome! Love how the colors didn't seem phased at all! My first doll is sealed, it didn't turn white at all but it no longer has the soft feel of wool either. Is that normal or did I use too much glue? I'll try the non yellowing Mod Podge Stiffy. I have several kinds but don't think that's one of them. I'm so loving your vids, I hope more people come see them. I am pointing a few people your way or just letting them know I also follow your doll tutorials. Hope you are over your bug!
No it won’t have the soft feel. It should still be movable around the ears but stiff. For me it’s a trade off because now it won’t get roughed up with handling and the fuzz won’t start to pill and loosen. I feel like the face and hands need to stay nice and not get fuzzy. If you prefer the soft wool feel you don’t have to seal the face. It’s all preference. ☺️ yes thank you so much! Next starts the body which will remain squishy under the clothes.
@@leightfootfelts Where have you been? You OK?
Yes, thank you I’m ok. We survived our floor remodel but barely lol. I just got my studio put back together and will take some pictures. I’ve been a bit stuck on how I want to do my feet and I’ve not had time to do more than puzzle it out in my head. I picked up some paper clay and am going to see if it’s easier to use than the apoxie sculpt. Hoping to get the video out next week on the process. Been thinking about the coraline dolls and how to speed up my process for next time. 👍 lots going on behind the scenes.
I have a needle felt plush ( bumble bee)
And I was wanting to get it to stop shedding.
Would using a light wash of stiffener help with that? But also keep it feeling somewhat soft?
It won’t really feel soft anymore. You could try experimenting on a scrap wool project first before you try it on the bee.
