Thank you!! I have an Instagram and Facebook page at leightfootfelts. I am working on editing a video for the bodies. Should hopefully be posting soon. Summer gets busy. ☀️ please subscribe if you haven’t so you will be notified when a new video is up. 👍😊 thanks!! What are you working on?
I am working on a kitten at the moment. Cats are so hard to do! If I am honest I find most needle felted projects hard. I think I need a lot of practice!!
Honestly they are all hard. I think maybe that’s what makes them so rewarding when they come out looking good. Have you tried living felts tutorials? Marie keeps the projects beginner friendly. Cats are very hard! Try making a cartoon cat maybe. Something that’s more cute than realistic. Keep at it. I still have lots of fails.
I would lose my mind if I messed up a face it took me 8 hours to make. I tried my special pens on just the lash line of eyelids to see if I would like it. Looked ok. Put a bit of sealer on it & it went super dark! Good thing they were not attached yet. I used a plain color pencil on the next set, no sealer, & they are on the doll. Might I suggest you tap off the excess between applications & a soft fluffy brush for the cheeks? (I did Victorian art on ceramics with it mostly, the flat paint was not forgiving of fallout.) Both of my faces waiting have teeth, I'm a bit worried about using the chalks now so maybe I'll just use it for eye shadows & cheeks, then stick to the pencils for the lips. Your dolls are going to be so fun when they are done!
Yes I’ll definitely do teeth after coloring lips. I’ve never done dark red lips before or really many dolls with teeth so it never occurred to me. I could try covering them with tape or paper to catch the excess. Yes definitely needed a blotting paper for that cheek color. She looked crazy lol 😂
@@leightfootfelts I could not find my box of chalks & I know I have several so they must be in a box together. (I moved since I used them.) My pencils were a fail too. Even using light, looked funky so I may cut them off & start over!
Oh no can you use some makeup?
Looking for a doll kits.
I do not sell doll kits, but in the video introduction paragraph before each video, is a list of products I use and a link to purchase them from Amazon. Hope that is helpful to you.
