- Oh hi! It’s been another solid month! Yikes!
This is just me doing DIY around in my van named Regina George (yes, from mean girls.) nothing too exciting, just giving Regina some homey touches.

Love the new video!! Seriously though, hinges… always at the edge, and always in pairs. One at the top and one at the bottom. Never just one. Trust me, it’ll make your daily experiences much less frustrating. ❤

❤What a difference a little wallpaper makes! The yellow looks good with the Aqua Blue 😃 You could even add some Lavender color 💅and tie it together, they are made from the same color wheel….🎨 the pastels are always so soft and pretty 🤩 Looks great 👍🏻 🫶🏻 🫶🏻 I think all the “Vanlifer’s”……WE’RE keeping the Thrift Stores in business 😂😂. Just have fun with it….you can always CHANGE IT!😅

You should add some lavender to the blue and the yellow it'll kind of look like Easter during those cold Canadian Winters I miss Canada I'm from Nova Scotia and Labrador 😁👍

Thank you! I’ve had her for over a year and I’ve only done her kitchen backsplash in that time haha 😅 I’m glad to be finally doing more.

The wallpaper looks fine. Not too fond of that color of yellow either but it’s such a small area maybe you can find some “oops” paint at Lowe’s that you like better. But the fact that you’re having fun with it is what counts!😊

I watched a video about people and jobs they used to have and in the video the girl said that when the McDonald's ice cream machine is broken it's not really broken it just needs to be cleaned 😳

You DIY like I do 🙂. If the patchwork wallpaper bothers you, prop a throw pillow up in that corner.
Also: try a mossy green to cover that yellow. It will complement the wallpaper and go nicely with your blue door.
YaY an Amber video!! So happy! Hey on the wire that you hung your curtains with, if it's too thin, cut a piece twice as long as you need plus 6 inches or so. Find the middle and secure it to something that you can stand back from. Open your drill chuck and stuff the two ends inside and close it really tight. Then twist the wire with your drill.
It will be much stronger and shouldn't sag. It was great to see your face! More videos please!💙

I like the wallpaper it goes well with the turquoise color. I think a light gray would look better than the yellow. Overall not a bad job. Regina is coming together with each little project. 😊

High mileage doesn’t always mean death 😉 General maintenance goes a long way. I just had those wraps with a rotisserie chicken yesterday and today I am making soup with the carcass 😊

Yep, fast, easy ingredients make the best meals, esp. when it's hot or you're tired! Love that wallpaper...great job finishing the last spot. Love the turquoise and your ceiling!!! Wow. Not sure about the yellow. Perhaps doing some more turquoise in the kitchen area, tying in the entry door and box shelf? Just a thought! In any case, your video was a pleasant surprise. I also attempt to improve my van while living in it. The results are always mixed with just enough success to keep me going. Every once in awhile it works out great.
Amber, I was so happy to see this video pop up! I agree with you on the yellow; maybe an ivory or light grey? The wallpaper looks great! Good effort with the cabinet door. Trying to fix something without the proper tools is an adventure for sure. Take care!

I agree that being able to see everything in cubby holes makes it feel cluttered so the curtains work and the colour harmonizes with the door and the wonderful design on the roof. The wall paper hums with it all too. I like how you jiggy riggyied it.

I'm with you Amber on the food items like making wraps with a rotisserie chicken, they go a long way, are cost-effective and delicious. You could get some precooked bacon too as you can eat it cold, add some tomato slices and make it a club wrap 🙂 Are you saving to maybe get a different Van in the future with less miles on it?

I think you like colour. And I think it looks good having some coloured Accents in your van. It just brightens things up. The yellow looks nice with the aqua colour. If you wanted to tone it down you could add some white to that yellow paint to make it more of a pastel yellow but I think it looks good.❤

Good video Amber! You can buy hem tape that you iron on or hem glue....no sewing required. I like the wallpapered wall. Hopefully it holds up with temp and humidity fluctuations.
I like the yellow 😊. When you replace the hinge, get two. You'll have a much sturdier door. I really enjoyed your video. Keep 'em coming.

She’s back again!! Nice job on the video and the home renovations. I’m with you on stuff being out of sight is less cluttered but it does help you (well, me) find things more quickly if you have them visible. I have a bunch of wire basket type containers on the walls for now. Maybe once I’m satisfied with where everything is located I’ll change them to small cupboards to hide stuff. The small wooden gift boxes with sliding lids you can get from craft departments make good tiny cupboards if you screw them to the wall. See you in the next one!👍🏻

You're making a very nice looking home for yourself that looks comfortable. You should be very proud of it! If you can get into a Costco, they have prepared bacon bits that you could add into your wraps. I use them for wraps, salads, and pizza's.

I used paracord to hang my curtains in the front side windows. Curtains were formerly two black pillowcases from Walmart. We figure it out, right? That wrap looks yummy! Send cooler weather to NJ. 90+F😖! Stay awesome Amber!❤️
