I've experienced "One more time!" chants working at Great America (Gurnee) too, and yes, Carowinds. Fury crew was great when we were there too. The 2nd day of our trip there I got 4 end-of-night rides in a row, the last 3 without getting off (in the dark!). It was beautiful, and sealed it for Fury being my #1.
In July my flight got messed up so I ended up going to Carowinds instead of sfgadv and it was so great. Fury is my #1 for sure
what the hell is sfgadv
@@arctrooper6386 great adventure and sfgafm is great America
@@arctrooper6386 Six Flags Great Adventure
We did a lot of distant parks this season, when I was planning July, it was a toss up between Great Adventure and Carowinds. It was cheaper to fly to Charlotte and the park was closer to the airport, so Carowinds is where we ended up. No regrets (if they only had Fury, it still would have been worth the trip)!
@@joecarroll8724 Yeah, I was going to go to Sfgadv, and Sfne but Carrowinds and Sfne were both great!
Your comments on Nighthawk: The typical home park experience with this ride
Definitely one of the most beautiful roller coasters ever! the daily uploads are keeping me entertained 😀 Keep up the great videos Taylor!✌️👍
Just visited this park and rode fury (post crack) and the crew is still amazing! 3 train ops and they were sending every train before the next ome even hit the brake run. Amazing ride and crew.
Carowinds is the closest park to me making it my home park, and I still am fairly impressed with how they handled the crack incident. They were very professional and open about it, and never once tried to sugarcoat or hide anything from anyone. I have full faith that they have really studied the ins and outs of why this happened and fixed it so it wouldn't happen again
Oh yeah!! The Fury crew is INCREDIBLE!! I’d get to the park 15 minutes before close just to get LROTN on Fury. I always got 2+ rides. My best was 4 (all in the front too 😁). Those are the little things that add so much to the expierence, it’s part of the reason I love Carowinds so much!!
Fury is wow! Got to Carowinds for the first time this past summer. Beautiful park and almost felt new. Fury was my son's first giga! We marathoned it with the fast pass.
Carowinds is my home park! Glad to see you giving it some love!
Afterburn is severely underrated...and yes the 2 rear end seats are a must to feel the full whip of afterburn. It's my #2 in the park.
Nighthawk was a disappointment. Felt like the train was too big for the track. Alot of shuffling going on.
Also Carowinds has a bit of a dilemma with Nighthawk. On 1 hand it's old and only on borrowed time with Firehawks spare parts. On the other it is a visually beautiful and unique roller coaster that is a GP magnet. The way it interacts with the parkways and guests. What ever ends up replacing Nighthawk should do the same. I'm thinking dive coaster since it's in the middle of the park and they can even get rid of Vortex to make enough space
There’s a dive coaster nighthawk replacement concept by ML Designs on RUclips that honestly would be perfect for the park IMO
I think a Gerstlauer infinity would be perfect
I worked nighthawk early part of this season it’s closed a lot and a lot of the time it’s open one of the trains is being worked on by maintenance so it’s one train on an already slow dispatching ride.. just a total disaster would not be surprised to see it gone in the next 3-5 years
@@thomastucker9272 me and my friend went to carowinds and had to wait two hours in the line cause after the train before us the ride went into maintenance. Love waiting 2 hours for the second worst thrill ride at the park.
That old guy sitting on the snoopy fountain had me cracking up.
I’m lovin the back to back vlogs
I sat on the outside seat when I rode afterburn yesterday, and the 0g roll the batwing and the corkscrew just whips you around like crazy!
and fury was awesome! I'm so glad that Carowinds is my home park!
11:22 That man knows what's up😂😂
The Fury crew is amazing!
I rode fury very recently, and it is my favorite coaster I have ever been on. I got Fast Lane and got 11 rides on it.
Fast lane is holy at Carowinds.
@@Ian58 indeed
12:07 as someone who worked at raptor at cedar point, depending on how many people were in the park that day, sometimes we would let the guests on each train get an extra ride at the end of the night. I love when that happens, as the guests are always so hyped in the station when they find out they're getting an extra ride
I think I know you... (:
I was on a one more time chant and it was so fun getting to do it twice since it was actually my first ride EVER on fury
I got the "one more time" experience on Fury as well back in July, and I was in the front row! I was told they do that sometimes. A couple days later, the Griffon crew also did it for us. I also got it on Twisted Timbers.
I can deduct you had a really nice trip at those three amazing parks!
I can’t blame you! Fury is the only flawless coaster I’ve ever been on. It’s not necessarily the best, but there is literally nothing wrong with it. Even Steel Vengeance has at least one flaw, Fury just has no issues.
The helix at the end would like to have a chat
There’s nothing inherently “wrong” with the helix, it’s just not forceful compared to the rest of the ride
@@kylebetz9684 Lol the helix was the only way they could scrub off speed without introducing another trim brake. Up until the first trim it's still going 75+ and that trim is absolutely necessary haha. Those last camel backs are borderline psychotic!
@@ch6inre6ction11 I know I’m just being nit picky lol. So far I have ridden 3 perfect rides: Fury, Voyage, and steel vengeance. In reality I wouldn’t change anything about them. Especially fury
@@kylebetz9684 I definitely had an issue with it. Those last 3 hills closed the deal for me.
I don't blame you. I just rode Fury325 last month. Got 5 rides on it, and that STILL wasn't enough for me!
Fury is KING👑
I 100% AGREE with your rant about Carowinds not having transferrable lockers. Fury and Copperhead may be the only coasters in the park to require lockers but it would make a lot more sense to have the transferrable option that KD and Cedar Point have. Heck, even Great Adventure has transferrable lockers and for good reason because none of their coasters have bins on the platforms. I also do not like that Carowinds charges $2 for one hour per locker unlike the other Cedar Fair parks that charge $2 for two hours or Six Flags with $1 for two hours. The only other CF park that I've been to that doesn't have transferrable lockers is Kings Island which now has 4 coasters with lockers but it's possible they added that option since I last visited in 2018.
Fury 325 is love at first sting!
The most amazing thing about this blog is being able to run from Afterburner to Fury in 2 minutes.
Afterburn* stupid autocorrect
worst and best decision of my life
Fury crew 👏👏
Wazzup coaster studios
Love ur videos!!!
My 10 year old daughter: "Oh wow...look at that huge coaster. Can we ride that one first?"
As she points to Fury 325.
Never been more proud!!!
omg that’s my bestie ky!! great vlog as always💖
🥰🎢
At my home park (SFGAM), my friends and I got the whole train chanting "one more ride" on both Raging Bull and Goliath on two separate occasions and they let us go again both times.
Shouts out to Taylor for staying his own camera man
2:39 pause for a sec
I see me there hey yall
Nighthawk should never leave the park
Last time I was at carowinds at the end of the day the fury and intimidator crews were racing to see who had the highest dispatch’s per hour and it got to a point where fury was sending out a train before the previous train crest the lift hill.
Damn thats totally safe
@@Meatloaf8 the rides system stopped the train from leaving the break run before the lift till the other got to the safe distance
@@ArchJ17 Ohh ok
Thats why fury has such a long break run to be able to dispatch trains faster
I had a “one more ride” chant work at sfog on twisted cyclone and got 2 front row rides in pitch black at 10pm with all the lights on it was so sick
I never got to experience Fury in the front because even though it was only a station wait for the whole day, they kept assigning me to row 4 and of course row 6!
Fury definitely keeps (B)oring & (M)ild on the map ....it's a great coaster ..my personal #1
It’s the best B&M without question. It’s my number 3, behind Skyrush and I305.
Carowinds is my no.2 bucket list park behind cedar point
My go to every time at Carowinds is to go to the copperhead lockers and rent for 6 hours and i never think about my stuff until i go back later in the day. Although it does suck having to walk so far to get to the locker every time i need to.
Every park needs to follow Universal's locker policy - free short term small lockers near the most extreme rides, and bigger paid lockers everywhere else.
However, I've just adapted and don't bring anything that won't fit in a zippered cargo pocket or a fanny pack to any park anymore.
A HOT take to finish it out. B&M > RMC.
Next Documentary: The Fury of B&M
I agree with this statement
this year i road it for the first time and it is sooo good, me and my friends got to go on it 20 times at least
We were watching the launch from that exit tunnel on copperhead and the two people in the front were praying to the lord and it was so funny.
I've also never had a bad experience with the fury crew and its my home park so i've been a few different times.
12:07 this worked for me once at cedar point on magnum for the last ride of the night, so it was pitch black and i got 2 consecutive rides, that’s also the weekend I got 26 rides on magnum
Y’all need to come back to fiesta on a day I’m working! Cuz we definitely have sent iron rattler again sometimes. If I close road runner, we do a decent amount :)
the angry dad at 2:49 kills me 😅
The joke about leaving Carowinds without riding Fury hit me hard because I didn’t get to ride Fury when I when to Scarowinds (even though that was the only reason I was going to Carowinds) because the line was 4 1/2 hour line the whole night. I only got to ride Copperhead Strike
God I love this ride
Random question....I hear you guys mention wait time in regards the the ride lines and I wondered, do you not have "All park Fast Pass" on your season passes? It's not super cheap BUT, judging by the way you guys travel the world constantly just riding Coasters, your obviously make alot of money so I just wondered if you guys have Fast Pass or FPP and what you think about Fast Plus and the fact you can add it to your season passes
"is there anything else you would rather be riding?" 🤔🤔🤔 Nope I'm not going there! 😁
I had a successful one-more-time on fury 325 in July. Oh i was shocked 😇
Fury IS better than Steel Vengeance.👊🏽
Facts
I agree, CP is my home park but Carowinds and Fury just top it in my opinion
true
@@johngrzeschik1769u prob haven’t been to cedar point tho. Fury is my 2nd fav coaster it’s 1. Steel Vengeance 2. Fury 325 3. Voyage
@@Footballprodz11 bruh I live In Cleveland and I have been there 6 times just this year
Still probably my favorite giga 🤣
So good right?
Afterburn without a 2-hour line? You're so lucky! It's been on 1-train and very slow ops on my visits. Also, Nighthawk has ridden awesome on my visits, so you should give it another try. I like it more than Afterburn. I try to get both done in the first hour before those lines get huge. Fury still has a short line afterwards.
Yeah, I have had a ton of great rides on Nighthawk. It is the first ride I hit in the morning. I can get 4 or 5 rides on it with no line before the line gets super long later in the day. If the ride is so bad, there wouldn't be long lines to ride it even with the lowish ride capacity.
@@gametime2473 I guess I've had bad luck with crowds there. I line up for Nighthawk 15 minutes before opening, which was necessary. The line is huge by opening time. By the time I get off the ride, its already a 2-hour line. But you're right. It's got to be good if that many people are willing to wait that long for it. That's on weekdays. My weekend days had shorter lines everywhere.
Fury's my #1. The only one that gave it a run for its money was Intimidator 305 at #2. As for the Carowinds Intimidator, I also love that one and it's at #7.
If you have to put all your loose articles into a locker, how you were able to record inside the lines and station building of Fury and Copperhead Strike? Just asking for my stingy myself...
Was the drop tower closed?
One more time always works at Carowinds.
My guess on why they sent y'all "One more time!" Was because it didn't change how soon they got to go home since the crew is stuck there until scarowinds ends. Try that once scarowinds is over and they sure as heck probably wouldn't send you again cause they just want to go home.
I got the one more time this summer I knew mine was because 3 of the Fury Crew( day off) were on the train.
they did it every time i went this year, pretty sure they do it every night if people ask
@@peterschwab5259 incorrect. We don’t have to at all. We’re there till 1am, and if you work at intimidator or fury. Your still pumping people through by 12:30. That’s not accounting the closing procedures of the ride. So no, they’re not required to send you again if you ask.
one time at cedar point I got 7 rides on mean streak never left my seat in back row.
carowinds is still open?
Nighthawk is my number 1 bro
Ah yes, I waited in line for Fury on a sunset ride, and I was standing for like 3 minutes right by the super loud lift hill motor.
the tweenager @ 2:22 pondering his existence
I'm sure you know this but there's all day lockers behind the entrance building on the left.
I may be single stressed and socially isolated but at least I went and rode Fury. They also let me go around twice at night. I really wasn’t expecting as much as I did I was dying to ride this since 2015 but then SV and Orion were built and I went skydiving. Fury was so good it almost revivals skydiving.
most relatable comment
We got "one more time" on copperhead strike and got its first ever rollback hahaha
Wait, it got a rollback?
@@Meatloaf8 yessir at the second launch! something happened with the system by sending the train through the station without stopping it i think. we stopped for a bit and the rolled us backward part way up the loop and launched us right on over hahah
@@andrewlockhart233 Oh! I thought you meant you rolled back on the first loop after the launch.
@@Meatloaf8 Hahahah that would have been funny but nah we did on that inverted top hat looking thing
4:15 to 4:23 is that even necessary 😂 *COVER MY EARS*
2:09 those screams sounded like they came out of RCT
That's so awesome it's Matt's birthday! How old is he if you don't mind me asking?
The one time carowinds closed at 8 and I rode Intimidator 3 extra times
The fact i got a carowinds ad
They need more shade areas it gets humid and hot in the summer there
Didn't you say this about velocicoaster?
They are pretty close to equally awesome, just in different ways. Fury and VelociCoaster are my current #1 & #2.
Am I the only person who somewhat got airtime on hurler when I went? Because it is super boring but I noticed coming out of my seat ever so slightly
They should replace nighthawk with an intamin blitz lol
What no lockers transfers lmao???
I may always put Fury 325 as my #1 coaster. There are better rides out there (Maverick, Steel Vengeance, Twisted Timbers, etc.) but they all seem to have long lines, technical issues and less than enthusiastic crew. Fury is an A maybe A- "ride", but the smooth operations, colorful plaza and reliability easily make this an A+ roller coaster for Carowinds.
My home park. I wasn’t there for SCarowinds but my dad was. I wish I was too but I do agree with your talk about the Fury crew… they are amazing every time I ride
Carowinds has the best intimidator. Also- they used to have a stock car out and such-but Scarowinds. Now they have nothing because NASCAR took the name back.
Isn’t everyone obsessed 😅
12:43 one time at six flags great America i got 3 extra rides on the last train raging bull chanting!!! I think one of the ride operators was mad at the other one so he was passive aggressively making them stay later but it worked out for us😭
is there a way that i could get one of the jackets that Sarah is wearing?
The Coaster Studios jacket? Unfortunately those aren’t for sale, they’re for team members only
@@CoasterStudios oh ok thank you though.
It's so weird to see parks with lockers, the parks that I visited all had bins to put your stuff in so it is weird that you need to pay for lockers.
Replace Nighthawk with a new Vekoma flyer and call it Dayhawk... 😂
Call me crazy but i like Fury 325 more than iron gwazi for one big reason, i swear i got a ride on fury that was 100MPH+. i lost my voice on that night ride for the rest of the day and the next day.
how can fury 325 have dispatches so fast if its like a 2 minute ride wont it stop on top of the lift? a ride op at at fury told me the fastest a dispatch could be is like 20 seconds that makes no sense
Which drop is better Orion of fury
Fury!
I232 is an underrated comment from Sarah!
What is peters yt channel? i forget, but he looks familiar ngl.
i don’t have one :(
Nighthawk: The unreliability of Volcano/TTD and the roughness of Anaconda
POV your on the bus watching this
11:22 the guy on the fountain
I didn't get the Afterburn Plants vs Zombies refrance.
You can get a 20 dollar all day locker at the start of the park
4:14 was somebody getting stabbed? lol
8:27 “Infuryor”. I see what you did there
I wanna see a Hyper RMC T-Rex replace nighthawk and vortex
Thoughts on six flags great America new Rmc Trex?
Funny joke
I want them to get it it’s my home park
That'd be great, but I think the only place it might fit would be where the Eagle is, and no one wants that to go (rather we'd like to see it restored or RMCed)...but for a B&M giga or T-Rex, I might be OK with no American Eagle.
Now, Great America getting a Raptor is totally plausible, and I could think of a few good spots for it...but a T-Rex? I don't think that's happening. However, It WOULD be nice for Great America to get a first-of-its kind record setting coaster again though. We're overdue.
Rode Fury 15 times back in August. For me, it’s very close second to Steel Vengeance. Like if Steel Vengeance is a 9.99, Fury is a 9.97.
I don't have a problem with lockers, even if they are paid lockers, as long as they are resonable. For example, at Kings Island, the lockers were 5$ for an all day locker you could move around; that's reasonable. Paying 4$, for essentially every 2-3 rides is quite ridiculous imo
I gotta stop watching y’all bc I get so jealous of all the coasters I’m not riding😂
Really wish you could take camera on every ride you guys ride even if not in the front row!!!
On ride filming is not allowed at Carowinds, and we didn’t want to do it without direct permission first
@@CoasterStudios thank you! Love all your videos
