I laughed so hard when you talked about the stickers on the furniture !! My dresser had a big circular mirror, and I stuck on rows of stickers from top down! Eventually I had about 12 inches to look in!! My Mom was getting me a larger dresser, so I had to remove ALL the stickers with rubbing alcohol and a razor first!! Took a whole afternoon and a lot of muscle!! Lesson learned!!😂😂😂
Oh, so you were one of those kids, eh? lol That solution probably only worked bec it was on a mirror. What about those kids who did that on painted or stained wood? Your mom sounds pretty wise....
Fabulous haul! I haven't heard a "Hazelism" in a while, made me smile "like a hot damn". By the way, I was able to use my favorite about winking at a woman in the dark the other day lol. Those Vancouver holographic stickers were my favorite today. Vancouver is only about 2 hrs from here so I have been there many many...MANY...times. For anyone with Filipino relatives you cannot go to Vancouver without going to Stanley Park and the zoo. Though it has been many years since we have been to the zoo and there are many changes. I have been on the Grouse Mtn skylift (which I begrudgingly do under duress as I am afraid of heights) but it is gorgeous. I have not walked across the suspension bridge tho. Nope, not gonna do it lol. Vancouver has so much beauty everywhere you look. It serves as Seattle in most movies and it drives me crazy. I once was at a town hall meeting with representatives and the people next to me were from the Seattle Film Association. They told me they were lobbying to get the permit costs lessened so more movies could be made here instead of Vancouver. They said it is incredibly expensive to shoot here.
Hi Teresa, well son of a gun, I'd better step up my game! You know more about Vancouver than I do , kiddo. On the whole subject of film industry credits, give us some crumbs....you've got Hollywood....lol. A Netflix series (The Last of Us) was actually filmed in Edmonton which made everyone so damn happy. Since its theme is end of civilization, it wasn't exactly pretty...but great for the exposure and economy. H
