This is so me!! I went through a few phases of dating, relationships and 'experimenting' but in the end it wrecked my emotions and wasted my time more then anything:/ like it was fun sometimes, but I'm so over it. So for the past 5 months or so I've been 'boy sober' (only learned this word now and it's pretty good) and I feel so happy and free!! I have time for my little project and can make plans for the future withoit being held back.
If someone really special and 'normal' and someone who treats me right shows up into my life and we continuesly have a good connection for a few weeks/ months I might go into a relationship with him. But I'm done wasting my time and energy for people who don't really care about

Thank you for the very informative take on such an interesting topic. It is very unfortunate to see how some states or religion, at various periods in history, infringed on human rights with the familial construct and how they were good at manipulating population in thinking so. The Chinese "one-child" policy was amended in 2016 and now, the Russian parliament is discussing a law to ban the so-called "propaganda of childlessness". Like you pointed out that education and sensibilisation were keys to achieve autonomy, I would argue that the awareness provided by such values is also the best way to limit the ideological power of authoritarian regimes on populations, and you (and your very cute cat) are doing a great job at it!

The answer to this is the paradox of choice. Apps and social media have made the "pond" bigger thus a "big fish" in your area is dwarfed by comparison. And because comparison is the theif of joy, every man you date looks smaller and smaller until most of them around you dont look like good options.
Part of me thinks this is an element of evolution doing its job. Those who didn't fall for the paradox and went out to make real connections never became disillusioned and will have children while those who did will be lost to time because they didn't not adapt to the apps that hijack our ape brains.

I actually think women are just wondering more about who they date, and are mostly choosing themselves instead of partners that aren’t that good to begin with, also having kids isn’t the key to happiness either, even more so for women if we look at the stats it’s quite the contrary
@@el972 sure but if you told women that they would be without a lover for the rest of their lives most don't like that prospect. The stats from western women and their happiness is pretty low despite their wealth. Surprisingly other very poor African countries have tons of children and their women are happier. So in the end they win the evolutionary game and the meaning/happiness game. In spite of losing in the wealth game. It's pretty impressive honestly.

It amazes me how Women will go out of their way to pick on Men without girlfriends. But when she weighs 200+ pounds, or has lost count of her notches. She gets triggered when those things are pointed out
That’s not really a thing that happens though. Women typically don’t ‘go out of their way’ to make fun of guys for not having girlfriends. Usually other men do that.
I think it's very low culture to pick on people because of their civil status
