I did for a long time, but the ones I was using had a ton of colouration. Open back stuff is great for mixing, sworn enemy for recording though obviously haha
@@mtchlrtoo gotcha! I’ve got a pair of closed back Sony’s that I use for everything. Was looking at adding some beyer dt990’s for mixing. I’ve got a 2i2 also and wasn’t sure if they had enough juice for the 250 ohm pair. Great video btw! Wish I had this info about 5 years ago lol
@@prod9d9 I've got 250ohm pair! 2i2 works great. I keep my volume knob at about 3-4 o clock and thats around average volume compared to the 80ohm headphones!
