Hey PAPA! It's my first time on your Site and am richly rewarded by your dedicated Craftsmanship. I couldn't help but reflect on my Grandfather who also was a skilled Craftsman like you. He amassed many Blue Ribbons for his Art from the Oregon State Fair back in the 50's and 60's. Archie Wilkinson was a WWI Veteran who lived in White City OR. MUCH of his "works" are in our various homes as Family Heirlooms which we are proud to have. (which I'm sure you have many as well). Blessings... to You and Yours !! !! (Archie's works were segmented Plywood inventions ~~ very crafty ART. !! !! )
Thanks so much Dan. Sounds like your grandfather was a very talented man. Do you live in Oregon? I am north of White City up here in Garden Home Oregon. Thanks again for your kind words and for watching. Gary
Thank You Gary....Always FUN, always an adventure for this viewer. Dizzy bowl to say the very least. I became lost in the process but so goes me, ha. One of a kind, beautiful bowl to marvel at. Years from now folks will pick up and wonder "how in heavens name could anyone possibly come up with or even to construct such a bowl as this". Please keep it all coming Gary....TM

Thank you so much. By all means try it. You can use any thickness for the layers but the thinner the more dramatic the look. For staring out you could try an easier version maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. That would be a good practice piece. I think the ones I did here were 3/16 thick. So much thinner for sure. Best of luck and feel free to ask any questions you might have. Gary
