Awesome ideas!👍 On Jesper Cook’s bench are his legs removable for transport? They don’t appear to be folding legs.

THANK YOU GARY !! Brilliant collection of ideas, much like your book ! I'm building Jesper style bench for sure, suits my work style.
At risk of offence, all the ' models ' are much better looking than Gary ,, ahem. Could you consider some of those ' surf girls ' we see in the car magazines ?
I see flip flops are the ' new ' foot gear for California door men, wow it's getting hot down there in the summer !
Seriously , there are a load of little tips and tricks one can adapt in this video! I love this style of addition to your video collection and hope you can produce a few more, with ideas that suit your fancy.
As always, very grateful for all I've learned from you over the years!

Do you mind if I ask you... what specific "book" your referring to in your comment ? (Wondering if he released a new one or am I missing out on an older book ?)

He's referring to The Doorhanger's Handbook (retitled: Installing and Hanging Doors--still being sold by Taunton Press/Fine Homebuilding.). And that video is 12 years old! It was on The Doorhanger's DVD. I"m in the process of digitizing all the video from the Mastering Finish Carpentry series and will be posting them on yotube, too.

I don't think that is even remotely OHSA approved...especially the flip flops...😁

Disclaimer: I'm not a carpenter but, have to do it so I have something to paint.
For the good of society I don't work on doors for a living but, once in a while I get forced into it. I see potential in combining this idea with a certain Australian guys bench though. I already have my original attempt at another guts bench which has made all the difference in the world.
I still see people working on the ground. I just dont get it

You carpenters seem to think wood is the material for everything, but some fiberglass skills might be useful for making benches that don't break your back! Wood is cheap and easy to cut, but that's all that is good about it. Learning a new skill is also good for brain and makes it feel like the time is slow again.

Fiberglass? You have GOT TO BE KIDDING!

@@THISisCarpentry I mean, you could fabricate parts like this: ruclips.net/video/TFdDg9kwKrM/видео.html - these things turn out pretty rigid.
