  • Another milestone both for the boat and for my editing. This week's video sees a full day of filming cut down to about 15 minutes. It's splash day! Get ready to see this yacht go from the yard and into the test pond. It was a big day for us and I hope that you enjoy watching as much as we did.

Looks like sketchy to me… the risk of that line breaking… knowing the effort it takes to make such a boat. Is the boat sailing out of that pond ? Or does it have to go back out? Hope you’ll answer in the next video.

I agree. You could have made it more entertaining by making it more dramatic with close in recording of the workers, what they were doing and what they were yelling at each other... especially when they were trying to remove the DOLLEY without breaking the underside of the ship. Of course it would have been less dramatic if they had simply moved the ship about 4 meters forward BEFORE removing dolley, BUT then they would have looked totally competent.

Obviously no one involved in this project was born before the 1960's when just about everything was painted Maroon with black trim, quite enough to put you off the colour combination for life. At least it is not as ugly as Elons nautical travesty, which looks like a futuristic version of the old woman that lived in a shoe.I despair of the youth of today they appear to have all the sophistication and taste of play group aged children. Still they can take comfort in the fact that they were not the first to adopt vulgarity and are unlikely to be the last.
