Investment? No sir, the fragrance community is a niche market. To find a buyer for the majority of his or other RUclips frag reviewer would be a needle in an Olympic swimming pool. Most of these guys are passionate about what they do and they also get paid and sent bottles. So....not an investment, it’s a passion and appreciation. Money don’t mean crap to these reviewers......

Kills the incentive for illegal whaling; Smells the exact same; it's not sperm whale intestinal matter; there's far less variation in smell compared to real ambergris because it's made in a controlled environment. Not saying Creed aren't greedy fucks. With synthetic ambergris they'll absolutely keep their prices through the roof to maintain the "high end appearance "

Wife is not a fan of my Aventus, so MI has been my signature. She just gave me a bottle of Aventus cologne as an early Father’s Day gift and she LOVES it. My first impression is very positive. Very fresh an clean. This will easily become my new signature sent.

A more fresh and youthful aventus , fantastic move by creed. There is alot of demand for this and it is one reason why pinapple vintage intense is so loved. I cant wait to try and I hope it has solid performance.

i really pray that this release will be a big flop for the house of GREED... they double the Price for a fresher Version of aventus, which you can get easily for 220 € the 100 ml bottle even in retail stores… Nearly the same fragrence / ingredience, probably worse Performance because of the more fresher DNA...there is no legit reason for this Price... Reviewers like you should critisize this rip-off aswell...
You speak as if you’re a perfumer and you know the current market value of the ingredients for Aventus vs Aventus Cologne. Can’t afford it? Don’t buy it. Why would you wish failure for a company because of their pricing? Apple products are typically double the cost of their counterparts yet they’re a Trillion dollar company now. Don’t be a hater, just don’t buy into it.

And retail price is like 5x the money. And they also do raffles and for 9 to 15 $ and 10/12 places and you can win niche scents for a few bucks

hate to say it but for me it had a allure homme sport vibe. they should have kept the pineapple. When we think of Aventus we think of Pineapple. they may as well have just called it, "Creed Cologne". Don't confuse it with Aventus. This is is the the Allure Homme Sport of Creed.

They put the name Aventus on the bottle just for the marketing because Creed never made a flanker in their history. It's a new fragrance and not an amped up version of the original Aventus. It's a good fragrance and definitely a high quality freshie. Here In Europe the prices of Creed are way lower. It's out of proportion what they charge in America.
I can see why they would do that to make money. Many people will buy this one because of the fandom of Aventus.

I never had any problem wearing Anentus in the summer as long as I didn't go passed one spray however the "green " notes in this have my attention so I'll definitely be trying a sample. Of course I still haven't tried Creed Viking. Lol

It’s crazy how much Aventus has changed from what it was back in 2010-2014. It actually makes me sad. The newer batches everyone always mentions it as a very fresh clean scent along the same lines as others. But back pre-2014 i don’t think it was really considered a freshie like it is now. It was so much darker, so much so that it to me smells like a whole new release! Really saddens me to think that the original Aventus is gone forever, and now we only have a very light and airy fresh version of the scent. Almost like the new batches could have been the new release of Aventus cologne lol. It’s that different

Jesus, $495 for 100ml and they said it would be too expensive to use ambergris? Remember, they used to charge less for 120ml and most of their fragrances had ambergris. That's their signature. Really hard to justify the current Creed prices. It reeks of greed everywhere.

There’s no doubt about Creed, but I don’t understand their price policy for US, last year I bought Aventus and GIT for less than 400$ in Paris. Here just Aventus costs around 500$ including tax, it’s not really great for picture of brand in long term as more and more people figure this out.

I trust your nose, so i assume that it smells worth the coin, however with the crowded field of niche brands and the saturated designer market of Aventus clones! I would've hoped the House of Creed would have entered into the designer market with a fragrance that could've rivaled the heavy hitters like dior sauvage , bdc etc.. and go for a cash grab!

Thanks for the same code, the sample arrived and definitely interesting. I am definitely not a fragrance reviewer but to me it smells like a powdery / lighter version of Drakar Noir. But, with that said I haven't had the volume of compliments with a scent since Curve back in my high school and college days haha. Good stuff, but not in love with this on my nose but good lord people around you love it. I will probably be sticking to Viking in my collection over this since my budget doesn't allow for both.

It is cool that the Cologne is taking a fresh line. The birch pineapple combo never appealed to me. But there are so many summer fragrances that are good to great. $500 seems a bit arrogant.

Creed Aventus costs 200€ for 100ml here in Europe if you buy it from French retailers. It’s expensive but you can justify the price a little with the fact that they use ambergris. More than double that for a fragrance without ambergris is a bit ridiculous, I’ve got to say.

Hi, after hearing so much about Creed Aventus I decided to buy one for £195. Little disappointed as it only lasted on my skin for 1 hour . I was keep as asking my family if they can smell it.

Sounds interesting, but $500 is a little steep! I have to admit, I'm getting a little played out on the DNA. I'm almost to the point that I may need to just put it aside for a little while, and come back to it at a later date to see if I can fall back in love with it again. Thanks! There is definitely a familiarity to the original Aventus on account of the pineapple. It does make sense that they released it as a flanker, but it's different enough to warrant a purchase.

The best thing about the original Aventus was the dry down. It defined it's character and gave it a kind of manly roughness as well as sophistication. A "unisex" Aventus with less of that to be more inoffensive is not what I want. Although it makes sense for a cologne version. However, I preordered Aventus Cologne and I hope it's not all that bad ...

Redolessence yes indeed but Aventus now adyas last 4-5 hours at max a fresher version for 500$ that last maby even less that 4 hours is a big joke in my opinion. But i respect others choise if they want to but it for me it is a Pass

Redolessence Update. Was able to pick it up this morning. Each of the 4 cities only had 20. Was able to meet Luis from the Streetscents video too.

Tony Macias I personally love this fragrance. It does get a lot of compliments and it’s fresh. I like how it lasts the whole work day for me. Most Creed freshies don’t. As of now, I would repurchase bc of the feedback I’ve gotten.
Do I think it’s better than Aventus? No i believe Aventus is still the better fragrance. But this one is safer to wear for sure.

Edit: The Aventus Cologne came with a bunch of goodies/freebies. It's real nice-definitely very fresh and IMHO, *totally* different from regular Aventus. Base Notes come out later-I have a good nose. I just wish it had a bit more silage & longevity-especially for it's price. I sprayed heavy all over me-100 ml will last a long time! Lots of compliments-could wear this anywhere/anytime. I'm happy I have it.😃👍👌🏼🙌
I have had many Creeds I love their smells a lot. But I can’t see paying 500 for a bottle
My experience with most creeds is they do not last as long as they should. Maybe it’s just my skin

For me, it all depends on the fragrance. Some last a long time on my skin whereas others, like Virgin Island Water, don't last as long.

I'm not sure if it is smart for Creed to name this "Aventus Cologne". It seems people may confuse the two. Being a flanker, I would have given it a name to distinguish it more from the original.

You seem to be one of the few who will respond thus I'm curious as to what you think;
I live in a very humid state(typically around 75-99% all the time), and temps anywhere from 90-106 have been the trend as of late. If I'm inside with AC, 19P-11 will last for hours. However, if I'm in a kitchen, or outside for too long, it seems like it only lasts an hour or so and then becomes a skin scent for the most part. So, is it a reasonable assumption to think the heat/probably more so the humidity is killing it?
It's very possible that ths heat is affecting it. Does the same thing happen when you wear the original Aventus?
