Slowly but surely, you are becoming my favorite Perfume reviewer! You seem to be honest with your reviews, confident and masterly in your delivery and very rich in your content. I am just starting my fragrance journey, and I really look forward to benefitting from your channel from the way I keep coming back when ever I get notified of a new video. I still have a long way to go as far as identifying and picking fragrance notes is concerned (lol), as well amassing different fragrance bottles. I like would like to see you make a video on your own favorite fragrance notes and how to pick them up in a fragrance. Thanks, may Allah bless.
Really appreciate this sort of video from you, Steve... you’re one of if not my primary go to’s for in depth analysis of note break down in a fragrance but it’s nice to see top reaction of what you wear out as well
Fantastic video and list! My all time most complimented fragrance is L'instant de Guerlain eau extreme (2005 version) I honestly don't think I have owned anything that smells so unique and inviting. The mixture of those warm spices, rich, smoky, woody yet slightly sweet notes are out of this world and the overall projection was phenemonal! Big fan from Edinburgh, Scotland!
Most complimented recently... AHSEE, Bleu de Chanel EDP, Light Blue Intense Eau Extreme, AdG Profumo, Boss Bottled Tonic. Dior Sauvage! Over-the-top compliments with this one. Absolutely amazing. Sauvage should be number one. My next fragrance purchase will be Aventus and Oud Wood.

Thank the lord praise Jebus, finally a fragrance reviewer that hasn’t differentiated between “designer” and “niche” fragrances in a list! Please please let this continue!!!! Is no one else sick of these two categories that mean absolutely nothing??
I think its more about being a way to come up more content than anything else, if its split up its a whole other video. So if they take a video Idea and always make a designer then a niche they are getting two videos out of one idea/title, but to answer your question yes! I would just rather it be in this format.
Yea I hear you. I guess the only reason I appreciate it is because "niche" usually translates to "unbelievably, ridiculously expensive"...so at the very least, if I see a "top 10 most complimented niche fragrances", I know to just skip it.
Todd S. It’s true to a point that niche translates to ridiculously expensive but there are niche fragrances that aren’t. Mancera for example is a niche house barely more expensive than designer scents. I’m told that the difference between the two is simply that one only makes scents while the other makes clothing and apparel items, which makes sense :)
Great review. Thank you. My most complimented fragrances are Winter: Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford. Spring: Leyton by Pafums de Marly. Summer: Sauvage Cool Spray. Absolute Hands Down Winner (also Summer): Eight & Bob. Honourable Mention: L'Instant Pour Homme, Guerlain old formulation).

I get compliments every time I wear Sauvage, Y Edp, and Prada Luna Rosa Carbon. Not necessarily my favorites, but they resonate with a female audience. I should note, this was before the stay at home order. I don’t get too many compliments these days.
Just got Carbon in the mail today, wow. Easily my favorite smelling in my collection thus far. Y EDP I want to love as a signature scent, but has not netted me many compliments and longevity doesn't seem great for me. Do you spray on skin or clothes ?
I spray my clothes. I enjoy the smell of faded cologne on my shirt at the end of the day. I spray once on each side of the neck, once on each arm and once on my chest (mixture of skin and my shirt). I think of Carbon as a refined Sauvage, same DNA just not as piercing.
Awsome video! I stopped right before Gucci black so I could guess which frag was going to be in your 1st place spot lol. Your video on xbatch a few years back convinced me to buy one. To date its my most used Pv in my collection. My complement getter this season is Millesime Imperial❤
Thank you!Loved this video, and thank you for writting the fragnances’ name on the screen, makes it so much easier for me to read/search about them!I appreciate your work!
Awesome list Steven. Spot on with GG Black. I bought it back when you did your initial review years ago and it’s always my go-to when I want people to notice my scent most.
Will you ever review a Molton Brown EDP fragrance? Their presentation is stunning (each cap is unique!), and their Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel EDP is amazing. It is currently occupying my "Fresh aquatic" window in the 9 or 10 fragrances I keep on my bathroom vanity. I haven't seen any Molton Brown EDP fragrance reviews from you, so please work on that. Coastal Cypress/Sea Fennel EDP!
Great content as always. My most complimented fragrances are as follows: Versace - Eros, Prada - Lhomme Intense, Coach - Platinum EDP, Rasasi - Hawas, Acqua Di Gio - Absolute, Blue De Chanel - EDP, Acqua Di Gio - Profumo, and Givenchy Gentleman - EDT.
"and it's nice for people to be generous in the way that they compliment other people" So well said. My most complimented fragrances are Acqua di gio Profumo (I wear it the most :D) and Rasasi Hawas (people really enjoy the bubble gum Invictus DNA, especially here in Germany)

Gucci guilty black.. may 1st mature experience in 2014.. I loved it at perfume retail shop, later i figured out it's a grassy somewhat sweetly scent, as you mentioned it's a linear not complicated one but because it's rich and freshly grass smell, a whiff could be a head twister when you are roaming out there.

Awesome vid my brother! Most honest top 10 I’ve ever seen. I’ve experienced the same with Gucci Guilty Black and I’m ashamed to admit that I wear it and that it’s so highly complimented. I think what happens with us fragheads is we are always moving forward with our collections and forget (or want to forget) the old frags that everyone is wearing. What we forget is not everyone is as educated as we are and would never be able to tell what we are wearing. I commend you on the honest video, the great content and your success! Well done Steven! I have the copy from Parfums Vintage called Evolution De L' homme Soir EDP. I've worn it to the grocery store a few times and had people follow me around.
I've been watching your video uploads for quite some time now. Personally, I enjoy each and everyone of them. I remembered when we chatting about a fragrance called Embrace by Habibi on Instagram. That literally meant the world to me when you replied back. You will always and forever be my fragrance hero 👏!
I've had more compliments in Versace Pour Homme than every other cologne I've had combined. I've never had one compliment in Sauvage or or Bleu de Channel. Nice list.
Love the video and your list! I would love to see a separate designer and niche list! Great job! I need to get my nose on Vivamore ASAP! I’ve heard great things about it.
I have a collection of over 100 fragrances. I've said it over and over again, of all of them, the simplest, Molecule 01 is the biggest compliment getter... by far. The downside, the wearer probably won't be able to smell it or will smell it occasionally. That said, seemingly everyone around you can smell it and man it is a compliment getter.
No, ISO-e-super is not a fixative, it will not extend longevity, projection, or performance of other ingredients. Applying extra molecule 01 will only increase the performance of molecule 01.
Every time I wear Versace Pour Homme people ask me "what are you wearing?" "What kind of cologne is that?" "Eh bro my girl said she likes your cologne, can you tell me what you're wearing so I can go pick some up?" It's one of my favorite fragrances, that and Dylan Blue. 😁 Thank you for the video, you're amazing!! 😊✌👃❤
Steven, how far off is something like the discontinued Canali from Vivamor? Is the pineapple note/accord prominent and is it of the sweet variety? Thanks for the information.
All-Time Top 5 1. DKNY Be Delicious Mens 2. Christian Audigier 3. True Religion by True Religion 4. Mont Blanc Legend 5. Stetson I really love all of these scents and get/got complemented on them often. Not to brag but, "You smell good." is still by far the most common complement I receive.
(hm-royal water, Andromeda, Reflection man, nio, ivory route) Arsenico, beach Hut, foconero, 40 knots, mefisto, granville, baudelaire, ambar del sur,git , santal des indes are Fragrances with some compliments for me... Have a good one
Perhaps my complemented fragrance is Versace Pour Homme and I find it to be perhaps my least exciting fragrance (both against other designer and of course niche). It's pretty great in a really odd way that as a wearer doesn't stand out but apparently does to those around you.
Nice video. Every time I wear my vintage Cosmair Polo I usually get a compliment. It just smells how a man should smell with niche complexity. Because the bottle is over 30 years old, the opening is a bit off. But, after a half hour, the drydown for the rest of the day is so great. If you don’t have it, then you should get it. It rivals Aventus for the best Alpha Male fragrance ever made. It isn’t dated, because I get compliments today.
Was hoping for something more from someone who owns an awesome collection such as yours ;) Would be great to see a most complimented list of niche only and that is actually niche, not just entry level 😊

The #1 compliment getter for me though has been Dolce Gabbana light blue intense. No matter when or where I wear it. It gets the most postive attention. Not my favorite to wear though.
That's great! Thank you so much for sharing. I understand what you mean regarding the Dolce and Gabbana fragrance. I hope all is well.
Steven great picks I am interested in your brand that you discussed. I’m in Toronto. Can I get it from your Navatus web site? Do you charge for shipping?
Interesting to see what works best for others and how it may share similarities or differences to our own.
Excited to watch this one :)
Thank you!
Gucci Guilty Black's are going to run out across the nation now... lol
I hope not. I'd like to repurchase 1 day. Haha
@@Redolessence sir pls bring ur perfume range at good price in india.. u know Mohit khatri is s good guy through whom u cn get it in india. Pls do so asap... Congrts fr ur brand sir
This must have been a very tuff list to put together !
Thanks for sharing . . .
Nice list Steven - I’ve never tried the last one... I may need to give it a shot!!
I clicked on this because Elysium was in the thumbnail, and it only made honorable mention! 😕😩😂
I have the copy from Parfums Vintage called Evolution De L' homme Soir EDP. I've worn it to the grocery store a few times and had people follow me around.
Steve J Thanks man, I’ll check it out.
I've been watching your video uploads for quite some time now. Personally, I enjoy each and everyone of them. I remembered when we chatting about a fragrance called Embrace by Habibi on Instagram. That literally meant the world to me when you replied back. You will always and forever be my fragrance hero 👏!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm always here to talk about fragrance. Thank you so much for supporting.
Yes sir of course. I love fragrances more than breathing 😅. It's always a pleasure speaking with you.
Which Sauvage concentration is that one, bud? Great content!
The EDT! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!!
Great list and advice bro! I appreciate you!
I appreciate that!
How many sprays?
LIES LIES LIES
@@DB-km2in WTF is wrong with you?
@@MyAbdul111 I go crazy spraying this stuff!! I mean, I can lose count of sprays, with the same result.
You use molecule 01 to project another cologne? You wait molecule 01 dry or as soon you applied you apply the cologne?
I normally don't wait for it to dry anymore. I spray the two fragrances in succession.
No, ISO-e-super is not a fixative, it will not extend longevity, projection, or performance of other ingredients. Applying extra molecule 01 will only increase the performance of molecule 01.
It's Nice to see new fragrances in a compliment top, thank you for that, I have to try de Gucci and the Victoria Secret, regards.
You are so welcome!
Glad to see the beard back, looking good.
Thanks, Darren. I need to catch up to you!
great video and i enjoy watching it. i hope you have a great day.
Thank you so much, Chris. I hope all is well.
Steven, how far off is something like the discontinued Canali from Vivamor? Is the pineapple note/accord prominent and is it of the sweet variety? Thanks for the information.
They're quite different in my opinion. Vivamor is much brighter and a bit more complex as well in my opinion.
01 lasts on my skin for hours, along with my clothes. Great vid
Love the video and the graphic tee. Crazy enough, my most complimented fragrance is Gucci Guilty Stud edition!
All-Time Top 5
1. DKNY Be Delicious Mens
2. Christian Audigier
3. True Religion by True Religion
4. Mont Blanc Legend
5. Stetson
I really love all of these scents and get/got complemented on them often.
It's pretty great in a really odd way that as a wearer doesn't stand out but apparently does to those around you.
thank you so much for sharing.
someone in my family asked if my cologne was expired (i was wearing pour homme )LOL
Great list Steven! Hope all is well and stay safe.
Thanks for sharing!
Was hoping for something more from someone who owns an awesome collection such as yours ;) Would be great to see a most complimented list of niche only and that is actually niche, not just entry level 😊
