    Winning 3 out 4 Super Bowls. What an accomplishment. Jimmy made this happen by his amazing coaching and the coaching staff developing these players.
    3 Hall of Fame players. Makes me very proud of there accomplishment.
    Proud to be a Cowboy.
    How many teams can say they won the super bowl 3 out of 4 years

    The early 90's Cowboy teams were some of the best talent i have ever seen on a football field, probably second only to the early 70's Dolphins teams which went to three straight SB's, winning two and having the perfect season. Their triplets were Griese, Csonka and the great Paul Warfield.

    Norv Turner was a great offensive coordinator because he was smart enough to build his offense around his talent instead of forcing them into roles that kept them from reaching their potential. This team from the coaches to the players had great chemistry, the only thing that kept them from winning more Super Bowls was Jerry Jones and his over-inflated ego.

    This Dec.3.2023 and cbs Morris Claiborne and Brandon Carr ended up being less average corner backs.. that gave up a lot of TDs and big play yardage....bad drafting for corner back's.. Now we back to those dominant times in 2023....go Cboy's...

    Just mind blowing journey for cowboys.
    It was 90% Jimmy.
    But jerry is the culprit why cowboys will never win a championship. Just write down..
    It was his luck to find a leader like jerry..
    Jimmy could have won 5 superbowls with this team.

      As time goes on, it is pretty obvious that the team was quite blessed to have a coach who really could pick and evaluate talent. THEN, to have it all come together and win like they did was phenomenal.

    It’s become obvious, as time goes on, that it was Jimmy Johnson’s eye for talent after acquiring the Draft Picks and his football knowledge genius and ability to motivate men to play the game of football for him, vs Jerry’s abilities over the last 28 years to assemble, put stars in the usual spots, QB, RB, WR, etc. And then motivate those players to give their all for you. It looks like it took the Cowboys (Jerry & Stephen) this long to figure out how to find men that love football, regardless of their pecuniary compensation, to play it for 🥜’s. That’s how the Cowboys ❤️ to do bidness. “Let us pay you cheaply on this contract and we’ll make it up to you on the flip-side!”
    Stephen needs to wake up and start paying up, beginning with Cee Dee, then letting Dak walk. We just can’t keep paying him anymore than $45 Million per, due to his inability to get past the 2nd Round of The Postseason. Who knows? Maybe he’ll take the $45M!
    But the attitude and beliefs of some of The Triplets are funny in retrospect. “I think now they have that player they’ve been missing.” 😊😅😂

    • @rog9601
      @rog9601  6 месяцев назад

      Dallas was very fortunate for many years to have Gil Brandt and Jimmy Johnson who both had an exceptional skill in evaluating and drafting players. With all due respect to the scouts since and the current ones, no one has come close to Gil and Jimmy.
      The money is out of control and has been for years. I wish all the 32 owners would get together and just say we are not going to do this any more. The league will adjust and things will level out in time. Let's bring the numbers way down, even though it will still be a lot of money for players, they need to set the trend of bring things back to earth. TV revenues will be stable, but we can all see that high priced players do not necessarily bring championships. Maybe the baseball and basketball will soon follow. Another way to look at it is if the money is to remain the same, then the players can go get it with incentives. In other words, start them off at a much lower amount as as the incentives are there, then they can decide if working towards it is worth it. I hate to say that but as I am not a player but it seems giving them so much up front can lessen the motivation. No doubt this is a business but I miss the old days when players just wanted to win as they still sometimes had other jobs in the off-season.
