Could it have been handled better? No doubt. Jones should have spoken in person to Landry and told him it was time for a change. But honestly it was time, probably a few years past the time Landry should have been relieved. Jones became the villian probably because previous ownership didn't have the heart or guts to do it.

What an insult mocking the national anthem like that. In Australia earlier this year we had a guy at the first State of origin rugby league game perform the Australian National anthem & he tried to jazz it up by singing it in his own way and a lot of people weren't happy about it. If anyone gets given the honour to sing their countries national anthem then they should perform it properly without the razzmattaz.
