Great interview man, I've listened to it twice now and can verify that Mike is indeed the Funkiest dude alive (and one of the nicest too by the sounds of it). I learned heaps by just sitting and listening to his pearls of wisdom. Jude..I think you've reached the perfect balance of talk/play and every one of these episodes is like a mutual tutorial which is a great thing to listen to. It was his guitar part from Prince´s DMSR (Dance Music Sex Romance). By the way, one of the funkiest versions was Detroit 2004. It was available on RUclips. Dont know if it still is

Hahaha, I try not to be a douche :) Specially when it comes to Prince music, I am always trying to show people he was much more than ´Purple Rain´ (which I love, of course).
BTW,. I am watching this performance again and it´s SOO cool. The 2004 tour had such a tight band. Real nice.
