    Thank you Andy this is so well presented, great tone too, what are you playing through?

      Hi Mark. I'm using the Line 6 HX stomp for this video. I'm simply using a Deluxe Reverb model with a fairly flat tone and a little reverb. The dirty sound is a Hiwatt 100 with Tube Screamer > Klon.

      And thanks for the kind words

      @@AndyCharlesMusic thanks Andy, I’ve struggled to get this technique right so thanks. Have you thought of doing more Clapton related stuff, I’ve been a Clapton fan for years mostly the late 80s 90s time, the tone of his fender twins and Soldano for me were his best.

      @@markwilliams8533 I'd more than happy to put somethings like that in the works. I agree that his tone in that period was incredible.

    Great lesson, thanks! How do you bent-note vibrato?

    • @AndyCharlesMusic
      @AndyCharlesMusic  Месяц назад

      You mean get the vibrato after you've bent the note a step or half step?

    • @lucienne66
      @lucienne66 Месяц назад

      @ Yes. Or even a minor 3rd.

      @@lucienne66 Using this vibrato technique, it would be pretty much impossible to do a pitch bend and then vibrato. You'd have to do a tradition pitch bend and then put your vibrato on while holding that pitch. I can do another lesson on bends in general if that would clear some things up.

    You do know Clapton begged Koss for a lesson on Vibrato? Claptons technique is not legendary, Paul Kossoff's is!

      I feel any hugely successful and legendary guitar player has a legendary technique. I could name BB or Gilmour etc. They're all very different, and indeed Kossoffs playing was also legendary, can hear a lot of him in Moores vibrato come to think of it. They all offer something unique and special to the guitar.
