- Hello everyone! I’ve been hoping to make Plushtrap for years so I’m really excited to have finally started working on him! Plushtrap has been at the very top of my list ever since I made Stanley back in 2021, so I hope I can do him justice.

OH I forgot to mention it in the video, but a Freddle is right at the top of the list (after Plushtrap) for Cubby priority. He’s too perfect for it, and the Freddles are so creepy

I love how creepy and interesting at the same time skinned animatronic toys are.
making something from the harmony and horror series could be a fun project, especially in a special effects department for if you wanted to lean into a more gory design behind the animatronics! in a similar vein of branching out you could turn a non animatronic character from a show or series you like into an animatronic (either in a horrifying way or a strangely cute way) :-)
I haven’t actually finished watching Harmony and Horror (I always remember to watch it really late at night) but I’ve seen some of it! I’m definitely making Banzo, and I’ll see if there are any other cool characters I could make from it! A more gory design sounds interesting, I haven’t done much like that before and I’m definitely intrigued. Thank you!

I cannot wait to see Plushtrap!! I have a suggestion: what about the tiny Circus Baby dolls from the Help Wanted minigames? I think you could just buy the Funko doll and try to stick a little animatronic in it, it could be a fun, easy (or at least, a little less time consuming) idea!

Hell yeah, plushtrap! They’ve been my favourite fnaf character since the game came out for whatever reason lol. For suggestions on future projects, I know it might be kinda obscure but I think one of the creatures (especially the trimmings but I’m biased because I find them adorable) from the Vita Carnis series would be pretty awesome for something like this
I think you’ve just cracked this thing wide open! I have a few animatronics that are on all fours and walk and I haven’t been able to figure out what to do with them. I googled Vita Carnis earlier today and I’m obviously going to have to check it out. Thank you for the suggestion!

I really hope you end up enjoying the series, Vita Carnis very quickly became my favourite and I love the creators work so if you’re ever in need of inspiration for a good monster design then I highly recommend having a scroll through some of his stuff. Best of luck on Plushtrap! I was pretty thrilled to see someone else in Melbourne that makes stuff I’m interested in so I’ll be keeping up with progress for sure lol. Have a good one!
I just found your channel a couple days ago, and the amount of care you put into your projects is amazing. Your videos on the process are really entertaining, and I ended up watching the entire candymare video in one sitting.
For something you could make, I think one of the gremlins from the gremlins movie would be pretty cool, although I don't know what animatronic would be good for that.

Suggestion for a future video: how about a newborn from slendytubbies? They are pretty scary and the lore is horrific… plus it would be easy because they don’t have arms!
As a big a fan as I am of the Slenderverse, I’ve never actually heard of Slendytubbies. I’ll have to add it to the list and watch a playthrough! That newborn looks like it crawled out of Silent Hill, which is perfect

Yeah, I would have preferred to get one in bad condition, but this is the first one I’ve found secondhand in person. Cubby only stopped being made recently, and he was mass produced so I’m sure there are hundreds of thousands of him in the world

unfortunately all the horror media im fixated on rarely/doesnt features animatronics, but anything from happy meat farms/muse arg would be absolutely INSANE, lol. either that, of you could make something from garten of banban, which would be hilarious but insanely cool at the same time.
I think that the character being an animatronic in the media is just a bonus, I’ve made non-animatronic characters into animatronics before! I haven’t looked into those before but I love a good ARG so I’ll definitely have to! And I have Banban on the list but I haven’t looked into that much either. Thank you for the suggestions!

in the mid 2000's i had a furReal pet that was a horrifyingly realistic blue and gold macaw. that thing was so freaky with its articulated eyes and talons that i took the batteries out after a week. man it would be wild to see what you could do with one of those beasts

Hi! Thank you so much! I actually have four of these horses (including Candymare) so I could definitely do that! I haven’t played Darksiders but I’m so sure that I have at least one of the games. U should post the full process in one video, including the skinning process. I just came from TikTok hoping to find the full process :/
One of these animatronic projects can take several months to complete. I upload the skinning videos separately because otherwise I might only upload every 3-4 months, with radio silence in between. I post frequent updates on my TikTok because otherwise I’d have nothing to post there outside of showing off the finished product and saying that the RUclips video is done.
I can’t post Plushtrap’s full making of video yet, because he isn’t finished. He’s as complete as you’ve seen him on my TikTok (eyes and eyelids are done, next I’ll be reshaping his head)
I hope that makes sense and explains why I upload things the way that I do!

heres a suggestion
maybe make plushtrap have swapable teeth and eyes so when you make a plushtrap chaser you can just swap his eyes and teeth for the human ones
I thought about it, but I can’t swap the eyes out because of how the mechanism sits and I don’t know that I’d be able to do the teeth either. Maybe one day I’ll do a Plushtrap Chaser as well, and then we can have both anyway!

I think it'd be fun to try and make either a puppet or animatronic of a character from My Friendly Neighborhood- obviously some would be very easy like Ricky the sock puppet but any of the neighbors could be really good, you could even try to make a marionette of Pearl the bird for a little challenge!

it's a very good game and breaks the mold of the mascot horror genre as well as being an action shooter, the true ending was honestly really heartwarming and touching
