I don't care if this is a year old, I found you as of recent and the way you portrayed the characters that I've seen so far onto the different furreal friends, HOLY HELL that's some talent. That Candy Mare looks like it'll eat ya
Aw, thank you! I actually never had a FurReal Friend growing up, but now that I’ve started making things with them, I can say that they’re really cool!
I had never read the Candy Mare series before seeing this video, but now I've come back after reading through almost all of it. You did a fantastic job with her! Also, I wanted to say it's nice to see a woman working with animatronics. I hope you've inspired some girls to try and see if they can customize stuff themselves.
Thank you so much! I hadn’t heard of her until someone suggested I make her, and then I went and listened to a reading of it on RUclips! And thank you! I think that’s really important! I wouldn’t describe myself as a woman (I am after all, a horrorboy) but I hope I did too! Customising FurReal Friends is really accessible because they’re EVERYWHERE and usually really cheap! More people should get into it, it’s a great hobby
I've never actually heard it be called candy floss here, haha! We always just called it cotton candy here in the us! Ah, not to insult you or be rude of course! Just wanted to say! Also, I love seeing how different people are able to bring old animatronics to life!! So cool, and you definitely went above and beyond with this one :)
Maybe in the other countries furreal friends are hard to come by but in the states they're straight up rubbish. The sheer amount of Torch the dragon and Tyler the tiger who ride the Goodwill carousel and end up in the dump is staggering. I wish more people would customize them! I wish they had the same level of fan base as furby because as it is now furreal friends that retail for $99 usd can't find a buyer at $4.99.
Yes!!! You get it! I see them all the time in thrift stores! It’s so sad (the toy sections are often overflowing) so I like giving them a second life. Especially if they’re damaged (or in this case, super damaged and in the actual rubbish) I love Furby’s but they’re so expensive. But FurReal Friends? I see them for a few dollars all the time, it’s just about finding the right one!
It really is a shame just how many FurReal Friends you find in thrift stores. I actually saw a Butterscotch of my own at Savers a few years ago, with her ears torn off and covered head to hooves in dirt! I wish I could've picked her up, but I neither had the space in my home nor the encouragement. That didn't stop me from buying a donated Cubby The Curious Bear the following week though 😁
You've salvaged a working animatronic from a dumpster, AND your floor is b/w checkered pattern? Are you... are you still okay? Like, in one piece at least?
Oh yeah, I’m go- *turns purple, collapses, robots go everywhere* It’s been ages and I’m still reeling about finding a whole huge, working animatronic in the trash! Unfortunately I don’t live at that apartment anymore, the checkered floors were SO good. I am okay and in one piece!
@@tobyhorrorboy That's good to know! Anyways, you are madly creative, and super freaking crafty, that's amazing! Also shout out to the friend, who helped to mix the colors!
I had a Butterscotch years ago! The way they packaged her meant that she came with her head not attached, and that was VERY fun for me opening the box on Christmas morning 😂 (scared the daylights out of me)
Haha I’ve seen photos of how she’s packaged! On one hand, I get it! She’s a huge animatronic and of course it makes sense that some assembly is required. On the other hand, what absolute nightmare fuel
"now that her face is smooth it's time to remove her teeth"..."I just love how butterscotch's tooth piece is, I'm going to have to make it into a necklace or something ".
I really love how this came out! The waffles and syrup are so realistic , and the teeth and skull are so sinister! Words can not do this wonder any justice!
Some of these animatronics make my job really easy when they move in kind of a scary way right from the start. Not sure how it is for the kids that have these toys, but it’s very convenient for me specifically
“Candy floss if you’re American” really took me out. People think we call it that? We call it cotton candy, mostly. So it really gave me a chuckle. That being said, I have no idea what this character is, but it’s a really neat video :D
The detail is amazing! Also I don’t know animatronics but I do know fabric and I can tell you that black dye is notoriously uncooperative, unfortunately. I’m glad you were able to incorporate it into the design, she turned out so cool!
Thank you so much! I do like my sewing, but I don’t think I’ve used black dye much. I tend to avoid dyeing things if I can, I’m scared of getting dye on the floor or something haha
Watching this with no idea who any of the characters are makes for a real wild ride. Was not prepared for the chest-mouth. Really cool project, it never occured to me that you could customize animatronics!
Haha thank you so much! Yeah, customising animatronics is a great hobby! It’s like how people customise Furbys, but FurReal Friends are absolutely everywhere secondhand and they’re usually really cheap! And there’s so much variety because they’ve made so many, it gives a lot of options for what to make with them!
There's a kid's book called Bad Unicorn. At the end of the book, this evil unicorn becomes a broken-down cyborg sort of animatronic. It'd be so fun to see an animatronic of her where she purposefully looks broken.
Fursuit maker here! For patterning, you can also use plain old masking tape and tape it onto paper after pulling it off whatever you were patterning to make patterning even easier!
I gotta admit. this was recommended to me so many times and as much as i love horror, i ignored it because I wasn't really interested. but I looked up the story of candy mare, and then decided it was finally the time to watch this. I am SO glad that I watched this!! This was the coolest thing, and you earned a new subscriber! I can't wait to see more of your projects in the future!
this showed up in my recommended and I was absolutely enthralled the entire video. I didn't even know who/what candy mare was, i had to go look it up. Such awesome stuff! animatronics are so cool! Way to go!!!
Your crafting work here is very impressive in all aspects!! The overall result is incredible, but I love the attention to detail even more, the individuality of the various teeth, the saliva drippies, the excruciatingly hand-piped clay whipped cream!!!! a very lovely creation all around ❤
This *thing* has been haunting my nightmares to the point i swear i felt it physically crawl up my bed ready to end me. How is this video just NOW being recommended to me!?! The jerky movements of the animatronic only adds fuel to my niggtmares.... Thank you
i didnt know anything about this character so i sat and read a good deal of the wiki and god i guess its pretty standard for a creepypasta but still absolutely horrifying. the animatronic you made is the pertect level of horrifying and amazing, you did a fantastic job customizing her.
This is amazing work! I had a Butterscotch pony when I was little and I thought she was absolutely terrifying. She would turn on automatically when I thought I had turned her off. When powered down at night, she would just sit there on my shelf with her eyes wide open. I swear she was watching me. I am 100% convinced, that deep down, this is what her true form has been all along. The Candymare.
Thank you so much! That’s kind of horrifying! I like animatronics like this, but I can definitely see how they’d be a bit frightening, especially at night. I’ve only had one go off on me unexpectedly, I picked him up to move him (it was an Elmo that I’d customised) and he started yelling and I nearly dropped him 😭
I remember owning one of these, i’m so happy to see one be brought back into something that is loved again. (Mine had a missing tail and one ear at the end)
This is so cool! I will say, if you have to do that kind of "Whipped Cream/Frosting" design element on another project there is something called Deco Cream that's made for piping fake Whipped Cream/Frosting.
I know that I'm a year late but this JUST popped on my feed. That said, I remember when I had a butterscotch myself, the good ol' days of asking my parents for "a pony" and getting dear old butterscotch. 6-7 year old me couldn't even care about whatever was going on in life around me, I HAD A PONY! I'm nearing my mid 20s and your video just hit deep into the core nostalgia of my younger days. You may not see this comment since again, I'm a little late, but theres an old furreal friends animatronic i had as well. It was a gold and blue macaw! I couldnt remember the name for the life of but it was most definitely furreal. If you could get your hands on one, its be really really cool to see one turned into a pheonix or something! Hope everyone is having a good day today, stay hydrated ✨
Aww I’m so glad! I love hearing about people’s childhood animatronics! And that’d be Squawkers McCaw! I haven’t managed to find one yet but if I ever do, I’ll definitely customise them into something!
Thank you so much!!! I didn’t know she even existed until my partner showed me her old commercial, and then a few weeks later I found this one on the side of the road. What are the chances haha
This is a pretty interesting build, though I'd suggest investing in an air-brush, as it will help rather heavily with laying down base coats, and like the candy-floss sections, it will be a lot easier to color it, as well as keep the physical brush strokes from causing any form of matting!
Thank you so much! I love doing stuff like that! There are so many fantastic toys that you can customise, there are really endless possibilities! Candy Mare was particularly good because she was so very broken and already in the rubbish when I found her haha
THIS IS SO COOL!!! the finished thing is REALLY AWESOME and your cat makes the cutest little noises as well ahah I think people concerned about the toy not going to a different child who would want it should be aware that most toys and animatronics like this that get turned into art pieces would probably end up in a landfill. it was a big discourse in the furby fandom around 2017/18 but the reality is that most of these toys are mass produced and are not built to last, a significant amount of them being at least partially broken like both the butterscotches in this video. turning something that was mass produced and on the cusp of becoming trash into a one of a kind piece of art is really cool.
Thank you so much! Malkav (my cat) is the perfect baby and I love her so much 😭 I love Furbys but I haven’t interacted with the fandom much! I definitely agree though. Nothing wrong with taking a mass produced toy (especially a partially broken one) and customising it! I had to remove three spiders from this Butterscotch, and she wouldn’t have worked at all without an entire second pony to steal the battery pack from haha
Thank you so much!!! I’m so glad you like her, I was worried about her getting less positive reception because she’s not from fnaf or anything animatronic related 🥹
This is cool regardless of what others say. I mean not many are able to take and customize and animatronic like this. I have been wanting to get into animatronics/robotics for while. even contemplated taking on of my alpha training blues(animatronic velociraptor) and trying to rig a Silicon skin to cover the hard plastic shell. even drew concepts for a Ark Wyvern robot some time back. which would aim at being looking, acting, moving and feeling like as close to a real animal as a robot can get. mainly aimed at those who cant have normal pets do to a fear of dogs, allergies, or just don't want to clean the mess. and as a emotional support robot if you will. but still be fun.
Thank you so much, this is a really lovely comment! And all of that sounds AWESOME! I’d never seen the Alpha Training Blue before, that’s so cool! I haven’t looked at silicon/latex skins yet, but I’ll have to start because of some of my future plans. A robot that’s like a pet, but looks like a wyvern would be incredible! You should absolutely have a look into doing something like that if you want to! I really love Dragonlance, and I’d love to make something from it, but I’m not sure how customising a 5 headed dragon animatronic would go.
I have not heard of Dragonlance till now and I would like to see what you could do with a 5 headed animatronic dragon. The wyvern was a project I wanted to take on because while robot dinosaurs, dogs and cats and horses are common. dragons are hardly ever done. But it would a hard project because I don't it to be just your run of the mill animatronic. but something that could be treated like a pet. for those who cant have real pets. I have been playing with the Idea of what I would call a MSO(Mechanical Synthetic Organism) a design that takes Ideas from Biology. figure if you want to make something that acts looks and feels like living breathing animal than one must look to animals themselves. designing specialized pneumatic synthetic muscles that would resemble and act like real muscle. Liquid joints to attach parts of a skeleton. like a biological Skeleton. a liquid cooling system that would draw heat from the processor and spread it through out the synthetic body cooling the processor but making the robot fill more real. the processor or processors would be dedicated to specific tasks split into conscious and subconscious workings Layering the skin using a mixture of fabric to cover the robotics to allow them free movement. silicon or even perhaps ballistics jell to simulate fat with a mix of sensors temperature, Impact, vibration and touch sensors. so that the robot can tell the difference between different types of stimuli for example petting verses pats. The robot needs to be able to learn and adapt to different owners. because I want it be able to adapt to someone with disabilities. for an example a kid that has a mental disability where they cant really take care of themselves or an Animal. even go as far as being modifiable to have additional sensors such as a heart beat sensor for those with heart conditions. maybe additional coding to help with those who suffer seizers(although I would wonder if this should be standard). perhaps a glucose meter for owners with diabetes. maybe going as far as to have an internal medical storage for say epi pins maybe coding for recognition and treatment of allergic reactions. and administration of medication.(I think this though is decades of do to complications) the system would be adaptable to many different forms not just robots that look like wyverns(dragons) but any creature both real and mythical/fictional even entertained the idea of a Sci Fi version of the MSO the in the NSO(Nanorobotic Synthetic Organism) which would be the same but would mimics dividual cells in an organism and running off of water. perhaps going nano fusion so the robot does not need charging or refueling for centuries. both generally the better units will be the older units because they would be better at adapting to there owner and all units would be designed to be updatable and upgrade able and the skin would be designed to be removeable and machines and the skin design would be coded into the unit its self so the design can be removed and edited so that when the unit is repaired and the skin is destroyed they have something to get the original skin design from when the skin is repaired any cuts and blemishes can be recorded so scare cosmetics can be added to keep the robots Identity. the reason for this is a kid might have issues if they cannot recognize the unit when its repaired or upgraded. its to help avoid distress. seeing how its a robot that is designed for someone to get attached to it and you cant replace a friend and one little thing might make the kid think there friend was replaced. sorry for the entire essay and lecture but I go on tangents and get carried away in my geek moments.
RUclips won’t stop recommending me horrors beyond my comprehension after I watched every video made by Alex, the guy who makes tiny nerdy things. I’m not complaining of course, the nightmares are strangely beautiful

i was shocked when you said we were almost 40min into the video, i wasn’t even paying attention to the time cuz i was so entertained. i usually have a very short attention span with videos but you kept me interested the whole time. good work!
Wow, thank you so much! I’m really glad to hear that, this video isn’t my best work haha. So I’m really glad it’s still an enjoyable watch!
I clicked on this video not knowing who candy mare was, but intrigued by the idea of reskinning an animatronic, and I just assumed this character was from like. Idk, a horror arg or a podcast or something? So you can imagine my surprise when I decided I wanted to know what this was from ten minutes in and realized it was from mlp fanfiction. Don’t get me wrong, I was in the mlp fandom as a youth and I remember Rainbow Factory and Cupcakes and such, I just hadn’t heard of this one and it had been so long since I thought about any of them that it caught me off guard lmao. On a side note, I’m also very intrigued by the idea of custom animatronics, I’ve been watching a lot of doll customization but the possibility of doing this hadn’t even crossed my mind. But also I like sewing, and making weird little guys, and I really REALLY like the idea of making a weird little guy who moves, so maybe I have something new to try :3c
I hadn’t heard of Candy Mare either, but someone suggested I make her so I listened to a read through of her story and I really enjoyed it! Customising animatronics is an excellent hobby, I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot!
I remember being so scared of the story to the point that i couldn't sleep or have the lights off in my room for a three days. On the plus side, the sleep deprivation i suffered got rid of my fear of the dark and i could sleep without a night light afterwards.
I love the finished product so fucking much. Just as a weird aside, candy corn generally doesn’t come in a gradient. It’s cool to hear the cultural difference!
Thank you so much!!! I think the gradient thing was more because of how I’ve painted Homestuck horns in the past (which are candy corn coloured), I usually add a gradient to those. I’ve only eaten candy corn once I think, you really don’t see it around much in Australia!
@@tobyhorrorboy your artistic skills are honestly incredible. Several times throughout the video, you would do something that I would’ve never even had thought of! I mean, turning an animatronic kids you into a candy mare, that’s honestly brilliant. I’m excited to watch the rest of your content!!!

That’s so cool! And thank you so much! By chimera plushies, do you mean multiple plushies sewn together, or like a very specific character/thing? I’ve definitely thought about sewing multiple plushies together before but I haven’t actually done that yet haha
If you ever need to do permanent, non-edible piping again, you can use silicone caulk, it's a bit thick, but it's what's used for decoden and stuff like that.. :P I would recommend double bagging tho, just to avoid bursts, since it is so thick.. xD
Oh man, I’ve seen deco den around for well over a decade and didn’t even think about how I could apply that here. That’s awesome, thank you! I think mine turned out okay, but it definitely wouldn’t pass on a phone case or anything like that! That’s so cool!
I’ve had a few people point that out, whoops. You can tell I haven’t been to America. And the saliva doing it’s own thing when she moves her head is one of my favourite things hehe
Something that could help with making saliva drips, I've seen someone else take a bowl of really cold water and squeeze glue over the water to make drips and strings they could glue on later. That gave them the nice stringy bits that would hang from one place to another, and just overall control for how they wanted the saliva to look.
Wow, I created this character and even I'm kind of horrified by the final product! You've got one heck of a talent.

That’s good to know, thank you! You can tell that I’ve never been to America haha
Thank you so much!!!
yeah i think (though i could be wrong) candy floss is more of a british thing? cotton candy is the main thing we call it in the u.s.
Yes we call it candy floss in the uk ❤
I had Butterscotch as a kid, and it makes me so happy seeing her repurposed into something that can be enjoyed by an older audience!
Thank you so much! She’s a very cool toy, but I definitely prefer her as Candy Mare!
The amount of detail and work you've put into this is astounding and amazing. Its crazy to see the end product. I freaking love it!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! 😭
I have a FurReal friends blue and purple dragon that I bought new in box on Marketplace like 4 years ago for $20. It sold in stores for like $75
It really is a shame just how many FurReal Friends you find in thrift stores.
Oh yeah, I’m go- *turns purple, collapses, robots go everywhere*
It’s been ages and I’m still reeling about finding a whole huge, working animatronic in the trash!
Aaa thank you so much!!! I’m so glad you think they’re realistic!
THIS IS SO COOL WHAAAT..i RARELY see any candymare fan made things. I LOVE candymare and her story, i can never find others who even know who she is
Thank you so much, I’m so glad you like her!!!
The broken jerky head movement makes this even more terrifying lol.
Some of these animatronics make my job really easy when they move in kind of a scary way right from the start. Not sure how it is for the kids that have these toys, but it’s very convenient for me specifically
Man, I was a brony from ages ten to twelve and somehow I never saw this creepypasta? I wish I did, this is AMAZING. You're actually incredible at this
Thank you so much!!! I hadn’t heard of it either until someone suggested it, but I listened to it and it was really good!
“Candy floss if you’re American” really took me out. People think we call it that? We call it cotton candy, mostly. So it really gave me a chuckle.
That being said, I have no idea what this character is, but it’s a really neat video :D
I have made a terrible mistake. One day I’ll go to America and fix this. And thank you!
I love this so much, as a furby fan customised animatronics hold a special place in my heart, this is incredible
Thank you so much! I love Furbys and I’m planning on customising one at some point, they’re just a bit harder to find cheap secondhand haha
Oh man, that sounds kind of messed up for a kids book 😅 really cool idea though!
@@tobyhorrorboy Well I say a kids book, I read it in middle school. it's a weird book
The one with the evil squirrels, right? I remember that being really great!
Fursuit maker here! For patterning, you can also use plain old masking tape and tape it onto paper after pulling it off whatever you were patterning to make patterning even easier!
Ooo thank you! I’m a big fan of the duct tape method, but masking tape is interesting too
She lives!! She’s so uncanny, gives me furby vibes and I love it.
Thank you so much!!!
Ahhh thank you so much! Thank you for the lovely comment!
this showed up in my recommended and I was absolutely enthralled the entire video. I didn't even know who/what candy mare was, i had to go look it up. Such awesome stuff! animatronics are so cool! Way to go!!!
Thank you so much for such an awesome comment!!!
It looks like a tim burton stop motion puppet and i live it so much 😭
Thank you so much!!!
Your crafting work here is very impressive in all aspects!! The overall result is incredible, but I love the attention to detail even more, the individuality of the various teeth, the saliva drippies, the excruciatingly hand-piped clay whipped cream!!!! a very lovely creation all around ❤
Thank you so much, you’re too kind!
You did wonderfully with this design!! I've seen candy mare stuff a few times but this was a splendid take!!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you think so! Honestly, I’ve only just finished her and I’m already thinking about adding some more candy to her
Amazing animatronic! Absolutely loved seeing the process.
Ps. The Joey!
Thank you so much!!!
"i think that makes me a fnaf protagonist"
*immediately turns the thing into a horrifying monstrosity*
if you werent before, you are now 0_0
awww i had a butterscotch!!! i remember it being HUGE and being able to sit on it… seeing it next to a house cat really puts it into perspective.
This *thing* has been haunting my nightmares to the point i swear i felt it physically crawl up my bed ready to end me. How is this video just NOW being recommended to me!?!
The jerky movements of the animatronic only adds fuel to my niggtmares.... Thank you
Wait that’s so scary! Thank you! I hope you stop having nightmares
@@tobyhorrorboy for the most part, no nightmares. Or dreams of any kind. Just a void when I sleep.
i didnt know anything about this character so i sat and read a good deal of the wiki and god i guess its pretty standard for a creepypasta but still absolutely horrifying. the animatronic you made is the pertect level of horrifying and amazing, you did a fantastic job customizing her.
I listened to a read through of it on RUclips and it was genuinely unsettling in parts. LOVE Creepypasta! Thank you so much!!!
Honestly corrupted toys are interesting but in a way are creepy and it’s so perfect
Thank you so much! They are very cool haha
Aww thank you! I’ve seen a lot of Butterscotches with missing ears and tails haha
This is so cool! I will say, if you have to do that kind of "Whipped Cream/Frosting" design element on another project there is something called Deco Cream that's made for piping fake Whipped Cream/Frosting.
Thank you so much! I didn’t even think of that!
I’m remember wanting butterscotch so bad as a kid but she was too much money so it’s neat seeing someone customizing her
Thank you so much!!!
Thank you! This video is from a year and a half ago, but we’ve gotten an airbrush since then! I haven’t used it much but I definitely will next time
I completely love taking broken and uncared for toys and giving them a new look, and purpose... Great good, great video
Thank you so much! I love doing stuff like that! There are so many fantastic toys that you can customise, there are really endless possibilities! Candy Mare was particularly good because she was so very broken and already in the rubbish when I found her haha
THIS IS SO COOL!!! the finished thing is REALLY AWESOME and your cat makes the cutest little noises as well ahah
I think people concerned about the toy not going to a different child who would want it should be aware that most toys and animatronics like this that get turned into art pieces would probably end up in a landfill. it was a big discourse in the furby fandom around 2017/18 but the reality is that most of these toys are mass produced and are not built to last, a significant amount of them being at least partially broken like both the butterscotches in this video. turning something that was mass produced and on the cusp of becoming trash into a one of a kind piece of art is really cool.
Thank you so much! Malkav (my cat) is the perfect baby and I love her so much 😭
I love Furbys but I haven’t interacted with the fandom much! I definitely agree though. Nothing wrong with taking a mass produced toy (especially a partially broken one) and customising it! I had to remove three spiders from this Butterscotch, and she wouldn’t have worked at all without an entire second pony to steal the battery pack from haha
This is my favorite creation you have done so far. I love how creepy, yet beautiful, she turned out!
Thank you so much!!! I’m so glad you like her, I was worried about her getting less positive reception because she’s not from fnaf or anything animatronic related 🥹
I love how honest and open you are! I also love how you give credit to videos you watched!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that (and thank you for all of the kind comments!)
22:33 nice callback there, dude!
Thank you!
The robot needs to be able to learn and adapt to different owners. because I want it be able to adapt to someone with disabilities. for an example a kid that has a mental disability where they cant really take care of themselves or an Animal.
even go as far as being modifiable to have additional sensors such as a heart beat sensor for those with heart conditions. maybe additional coding to help with those who suffer seizers(although I would wonder if this should be standard). perhaps a glucose meter for owners with diabetes. maybe going as far as to have an internal medical storage for say epi pins maybe coding for recognition and treatment of allergic reactions. and administration of medication.(I think this though is decades of do to complications)
the system would be adaptable to many different forms not just robots that look like wyverns(dragons) but any creature both real and mythical/fictional
even entertained the idea of a Sci Fi version of the MSO the in the NSO(Nanorobotic Synthetic Organism) which would be the same but would mimics dividual cells in an organism and running off of water. perhaps going nano fusion so the robot does not need charging or refueling for centuries.
both generally the better units will be the older units because they would be better at adapting to there owner and all units would be designed to be updatable and upgrade able and the skin would be designed to be removeable and machines and the skin design would be coded into the unit its self so the design can be removed and edited so that when the unit is repaired and the skin is destroyed they have something to get the original skin design from when the skin is repaired any cuts and blemishes can be recorded so scare cosmetics can be added to keep the robots Identity. the reason for this is a kid might have issues if they cannot recognize the unit when its repaired or upgraded. its to help avoid distress. seeing how its a robot that is designed for someone to get attached to it and you cant replace a friend and one little thing might make the kid think there friend was replaced.
sorry for the entire essay and lecture but I go on tangents and get carried away in my geek moments.
RUclips won’t stop recommending me horrors beyond my comprehension after I watched every video made by Alex, the guy who makes tiny nerdy things. I’m not complaining of course, the nightmares are strangely beautiful
Ooo can I ask for Alex’s channel name, that sounds interesting! And thank you!
I think its so cool omg, when the head at the end looks like its malfunctioning, honestly adds to the character ^^
Thank you! I thought the same thing! This animatronic isn’t working quite how it’s supposed to, but it works for her!
Oh my god if 13 year old me saw this, I would freak out, this is awesome!!! I never thought I would see a real life custom mlp grimdark villain animatronic!!!
Thank you so much! I’m hoping to make my little amnesia Fluttershy out of another one of these, and maybe a few other mlp grimdarks out of a smaller Twilight animatronic
@@tobyhorrorboy AUGH THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!! I would LOVE to see an Amnesia Fluttershy done!
Oh man, I used to want a Butterscotch SO BAD when I was little. It's so cool to see one be made into such an awesome project!
Thank you so much! I didn’t even know they existed until my partner showed me her, but Butterscotch is a really cool toy!
i was shocked when you said we were almost 40min into the video, i wasn’t even paying attention to the time cuz i was so entertained. i usually have a very short attention span with videos but you kept me interested the whole time. good work!
Wow, thank you so much! I’m really glad to hear that, this video isn’t my best work haha. I actually lost the file because it was so massive and my partner and I had to go through so much trouble to get it back, that I then didn’t want to try to add music to it in case something bad happened to the file again!
Oh nooo I’m so sorry! I listened to a reading of it on RUclips, alone at night, through my AirPods, and it was pretty tense in some parts!
@horrorboycosplay lol don't worry, I was a teen when I listened to a reading of it. I was fine after I got some sleep
Amazing work with a terrifying result! I love seeing videos from you :)
Thank you so much!!! I’m really looking forward to getting started on the next few projects (after we move house, oof)
Wow I didn’t realize how huge it was until the end. That’s awesome
Thank you! Yeah she’s absolutely massive, it was a real struggle to walk home several blocks carrying her
I love the finished product so fucking much.
The jerky movements in the final product are so freaky and cool it’s I love it
Hehe thank you so much!

Made me gasp when I saw the title because I used to have a Butterscotch when I was a kid! We had it for quite a long time too, we eventually gave it away years ago now tho.
Quite the strange nostalgic trip.

watching this while dealing with covid, very cool! restorations like this are always so interesting, makes me want to try doing stuff like this too
I’m sorry about the covid, I hope you feel better soon! And thank you so much, I’d really recommend it as a hobby!
This is awesome! The people who get upset about customizing toys to be creepy are kinda funny to me, especially in this case where it was literally IN A DUMPSTER
Thank you so much! Yeah, and you wouldn’t have been able to use her unless you had another whole Butterscotch animatronic that you could borrow the battery pack from. I don’t know whether anyone else would have taken her, she was pretty broken when I found her

So glad I watched this all the way to the end! What a delightfully horrifying creation!
Thank you so much!!!
When she started moving i audibly went "oh my God, that’s horrible." So needless to say you've done a great job.

also thanks joey, they are a hero LOL
Thank you so much! And they really are (I’ll pass this on to them!)
Not knowing who this character is and hearing you very casually refer to its "chest mouth" 10 minutes into the video is a wild feeling :o
I adored this ^^ my childhood has been made awesome lol the broken mouth made me think of a few things I've drawn lol
Thank you so much!!!
Turning something cute for kids into something from a horror.. Amazing ✨
Hehe thank you so much!
I'm so glad this was recommended to me- What an amazing project!!!!
Thank you so much!!!
The fear garden ref came out of nowhere and was very appreciated.
Haha thank you, I’m glad a few people got it
WAIT IMAGINE HOW THE ARTIST FEELS
Candymare’s creator commented! They said it was neat!
We actually call it: "cotton candy", but ye. Good work.
The saliva flailing around wildly, I'm dead. 💀
I’ve had a few people point that out, whoops. You can tell I haven’t been to America. And the saliva doing it’s own thing when she moves her head is one of my favourite things hehe
@@tobyhorrorboy Ah, my bad, I didn't mean to repeat an already stated correction.
Yeah, the drool's iconic.

Woah, that’s awesome! Your hobby sounds fantastic! That sounds really interesting, I’m honoured
I’m horrified but so intrigued but thank you for nightmares and sharing your passion.
Thank you so much! Sorry about the nightmares
Something that could help with making saliva drips, I've seen someone else take a bowl of really cold water and squeeze glue over the water to make drips and strings they could glue on later. That gave them the nice stringy bits that would hang from one place to another, and just overall control for how they wanted the saliva to look.
Oh that is SUCH a good idea, thank you! If I need to make some again (which I’m sure I will), I’ll know how to do it!
" me just waiting and looking for the bombs bc she said fursuiters" this thing is great though! Very cool!
