      Yeah it's better to do in spans, like work your way up to higher inclines, that's what I do
      So therefore you're training your body and getting used to it

      Monitor your heart rate if your heart rate is at a 115-140 while working out then your doing fine you should maybe consult your PCP and a fitness coach they can help you tremendously…Good luck on your fitness journey

    For completely beginners start doing this challenge slowly. I always start with very low incline and gradually setting up the incline higher.

    You might wanna tell new exercisers to work up to 12 3 30. I've been working out for 56 years, and I'm embarrassed by what I don't know. But I know this, a treadmill set at incline 12 is going to challenge almost anyone. Next, keeping a 3 miles an hour pace is harder than it sounds. Finely 30 minutes may seem like forever to a new person. What you have here is an ass kicking workout. I've always believed in the "work up to it" principle. This a sound idea and will improve the health of anyone who does it. New ones should start with less intensity. Ya got a great idea here. For a letter grade I give it an A.

      I’ve modified this a lot to help work up to it, right now I’m able to do 10-3-30 but i I’ll change the incline or timing based on how I feel/how the workout is going. I try to stay at 3 speed though

      I just started on the treadmill with 3 inc 3 miles at 15 minutes. Did that for one week and now I’m starting to do bursts of higher intensity for a minute (being 4.5😅) . But I’m new to all of this. I don’t know how hard to push myself at times. Do you have any advice on things I can work towards?

    Guys im doing treadmill last 2 months, but just walk fast on treadmill 1 hour, speed 3.5 and i make sure pass 3 miles. Last 2 months i lost 12 pounds. And i also eat salad with meat no salad dressing. Just focus to eat fresh fruits and vegetables and protein. And keep treadmill 1 hour a day. I also walk at my job 10 minutes break and 30 minutes at.lunch time too.

      @PaigeWeso 2 месяца назад

      Calories burned aren’t a hard and fast rule, your age/ sex/ weight are factors as well.
      And salad dressing can be good for you! The oils in salad dressing make the nutrients more available for your body to absorb them!

  • @czarinamaeosuyos3473
    @czarinamaeosuyos3473 6 месяцев назад +6

    I will start with incline 3 (then 6, then 9) before I go for 12. My cue is the youtube kpop playlist. Everytime the song changes, I increase the speed to .5 (but I can only go for 4.5 at most) for 40 mins.
    It's like a mix of HIIT, playlist, and 12-3-30 workouts. Makes it less boring. And if you can dance along to the music while walking, that's another extra cardio. All-in-one with just one treadmill.

    • @Goblues22
      @Goblues22 5 месяцев назад

      Adjust your speed until you keep you HR within you zone shown below
      To determine your maximum heart rate, subtract your age from 220. For example, a 35-year-old's maximum heart rate is 220 minus 35 - or 185 beats per minute. To enter the fat-burning zone, she'd want her heart rate to be 70 percent of 185, which is about 130 beats per minute.

    Cool! mine is like this, in 30 minutes, speed 5.5 and incline is 0 after that rest for 5 minutes. and 25 minutes for speed 6 incline 3 and in 5 minutes speed 6 and incline 5.
    I would do rest 10 minutes and 20 minutes for speed 4.5 and incline 4 but no time. ( I'm a kid lol )
