      Keep it up, sure :) walking is extremely healthy. You can always try holding onto light weights or squeezing your legs, abs, and arms to burn more calories. Also, walking can increase our appetites, so you should keep that in mind as well :)

      I walk 5 to 6 days a week anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour. I’m over three hundred pounds. I have ankle pain foot pain and a arthritic knee. But I walk past the pain walk at my own pace and take one day of rest to heal the pain. I started at 347 I’m now at 346. But honestly it’s my eating. I have to get my eating in order. But stick with it I love walking it’s just painful for me at times but I want to lose this weight. I also do seated chair workouts when the pain is too much. It a guy that does them here on RUclips.

    I’m a 71 year old male My blood pressure was 140/95. It’s now 120/72. The reason is that I do the gym everyday and really push myself on the treadmill. Get GP advice however before you start a course at the gym..been going to the gym for 15 years..I had to be very disciplined but it’s very addictive too as you sleep better and feel generally good mentally

    Is walking on the treadmill for over 2 hours too long? Because mine is a few months old and it shuts off by itself due to overheating. I even checked for any dust around the motor and didnt find any. I also used extra oil lubrication under the belt and it still shuts off on its own when I go over two hours.

      My gym treadmill stops after 1 hour. It is technical limitation. Then it restarts during 1 munute and you could walk again.

    • @Fitnessdy
      @Fitnessdy  Год назад +5

      Depending on the treadmill quality, it might get overused if you're walking for over two hours on it :) I would also argue that it's better from a purely fitness standpoint to walk less, but more frequently throughout the day

    How much the number of heartbeat it should be for my age 19? , Thanks

    • @Fitnessdy
      @Fitnessdy  4 месяца назад +1

      You're very young, so a 60-minute walk will not be dangerous for you (unless you have preexisting health issues), as long as you also try to stay active during the rest of the day. That's really important for your bones and posture, because sitting all day will ruin them. So, as for the heartbeat, it depends on your goals and how hard you want to train. You'll find a great calculator that allows you to play with different targets here: heartonline.org.au/resources/calculators/target-heart-rate-calculator
