I like that slip cover design for the earbuds themselves. I mean it looks like a mini PS5 case. 😄🎉
The fact that these are more than the pulse elite over the ear headphones tells you they’ve put some serious attention to detail into these earbuds. I’m super excited to try these earbuds and I hope the mic is excellent because that normally is one of the weakest parts of using ear buds.

I'm pretty sure the sound won't disappoint, my concern is comfort. Design looks nice but bulky. Hopefully theyre comfortable.

Lots of consumers confused because pulse gives 5 hours vs 12 hours
And inzone gives ANC.
So is the planar tech really worth it ? Does it truly sound that much better?
Which is more comfy? The wing goes up compared to downward.

Aren’t they both lossless? Both have dongles, inzone like every other dongle provides 30ms delay. Does pulse give even lower and that’s why they are lossless?

Been interested in these, but would love to see a full on review. Things like the sound quality, controls, and how they compare to other popular (and cheaper) earbuds, because those are the biggest factors. Plus if there's any noticeable difference between using them via PlayStation Link, or just bluetooth, both with sound and controls. I've had a couple types of earbuds in the past that would effectively block certain features from being usable on certain devices (like if you tried to use airpods on an android), so anything like that would definitely be a good heads up for consumers.
for me what matters is playstation link.......does it really reduce latency any more than say....using the dongle with a Pulse 3D or some other wireless headset? Hopefully RTINGS or someone else will do a full latency exploration

Are the eartips those foam ones? I had them with the XM4's and non of them would fit in my ears and they kept falling out but the latex type ones with the PSVR2 fit perfectly so I hope these are the same

When using this online playing do you use the mic built into the controller and hear the lobby through the ear buds then?
No, they have "hidden mics" built into each earbud.
All I care if the mic is decent, I’m more of a earbuds guy than headphone. Don’t get me wrong I think headphones are better but not my thing. Also does anyone have any recommendations for gaming ear buds.

They go in the ears with the PS logo horizontal with the white plate facing forwards and slightly upwards 👍🏼 oh.. and if you look really closely, there are actually the PlayStation symbols on the buds themselves. On the black areas just where the 4 metal charging contacts are. Very cool.

ill stick with my IEMs , kz az20 and avantree C81 set up for PS5 use, other then battery life i see no reason to upgrade/down grade

The best part is that they aren't that noticeable in your ears.

yes. they work using Bluetooth (phone) and USB-C (console or phone)
but something that is really cool is you can use the same earbuds for gaming and music/making calls at the same time (phone Bluetooth for calls or music or general phone use, and then the usb goes in the console for gaming use)

I know it's gonna be sold out everywhere 'cause it's got the Sony name but holy **** the pulse earbuds are sold out and the playstation remote players sold out this is insane I got on there as quickly as I could to pre-order everything sold out everywhere
It's just looks so fantasitc.The two points that concern me the most are the sound quality and work distance. I have alread bought the inzone h9,the sound quality is unbelievably perfect with ps5 if you turn on the 3Daudio，but it only work in 3m distance. I wonder if this would work in a wilder range，cause I want to use it for my new portal or psvr2.
I'm glad I pulled out of the PS5 while they're in the roll of making expensive shit, but no games really, some, but no game changer for me. If I saw Gran Turismo 8 pop up, then I might go back, PS shit is getting like it's luxury house products and it's a friggin game machine. Vr2? Headset, ugly ass detachable disc drive slim and the digital cost almost 100 bucks more than the OG digital, and there's no difference!! Except for your going to pay almost 100 bucks just for a disc drive if you wanted. Nope, I've been wrong about Xbox this whole time, the Xbox series x is a very impressive console, and plays better on most games than the PS5 does, and you can't compare exclusive titles, that's why they're exclusives. Lotta PS fanboys were leading me in the wrong and more expensive direction for gaming.

WHUT!? Haha. I kid, I kid. I realized what I said while editing but left it in because... why not? That's typically what happens when I record these types of videos early in the morning without having much coffee first; I just end up saying dumb things that I think need to be left in the video (you should see the outtakes). For clarity, there are FOUR total pairs of ear tips included instead of three mentioned in the video.
Most people already have blutooth earbuds they want to use. The fact that PS5 refuses to support audio out to earbuds is ridiculous; but not as ridiculous as the $200. price tag that Sony has for their proprietary earbuds.

Sound impressions would have been nice. Considering thats the most important element.
That didn’t make it into the video as I was under embargo and couldn’t talk about how they sounded. I can now say that they sound pretty good from my initial testing. Decent clarity and separation with pretty rich bass if you can find the right ear tip size. I’ll go more in depth with that in the full review.

@@NeonPizzas I unfortunately don't have a PSVR2 so I can't confirm if they do or not. It seems Sony themselves haven't confirmed that yet, either, so I maybe wouldn't hold my breath.
@@HomeTheaterGamerWill you be able to test it in party voice chats, discord voice chats ? What I want to know is the sound quality other people hear when they hear you. For instance with the AirPods Pro when you use them in a normal phone call it’s great but as soon as I join in a discord chat people always moan because of how I sound.

Why is that USB-A. PS5 has only one on the front already taken by psvr2 in my case and the slim has none... WTF Sony?
PSVR2 uses USB C. So the dongle for these would be free to use in the USB A port

Shits are trash buy $20 Bluetooth usb and connect your regular headphones these shits start to fall out if your ear after few minutes. Definitely not worth the money
