Not hearing the chip was crazy. Hopefully more people get these buds. Hate the crunching and sucking down soda noises.

@@JQM2020 That´s true. I also bought them. But they have a huge flaw...the settings i made in the Inzone App on PC doesn´t carry over to the PS5 and the sidetone is on default way too quiet on PS5. I hardly could hear myself in game chat and that is a big problem and distracting.

It all seems that inzone earbuds gives more value and comfort for same price.
Planar or more comfort, ANC, and 12 hour battery.
I wish the departments worked together and made the pulse explore more expensive, but gave all the features the inzone gives.

Mainly interested in this for my PSVR2, using the Pulse 3D on top of my VR gives me headaches, just sits too tight for me.
Would it even work? You can't use the headset wirelessly so why would these. They have to be physically plugged in unless I missed something
@@staygoldbang6785You can use the Pulse 3D wirelessly whilst playing/using PSVR2. It’s the only way I play my VR2 as the less wires floating around my head the better.
If you had the Gold Headset you could even do wireless with PSVR1

YES! I literally pre-ordered in the middle of watching this video just for my PSVR2. As soon as he said the 3D audio was good and didn't feel like he was at a disadvantage, that was all I needed to hear.
@@ultimategamer4969 I swear I did this multiple times and it refused to work. Was there an update? I thought it was because they wanted it to have the fastest connection through the wire for the sound. I’ll check again
I've been doing this on my Inzone H7. I plugged the dongle to PS5. So I was listening to game sound and YT podcast on my phone at the same time. And before that PS5 Discord integration, I was able to listen to the game sound from PS5 while talking to my friend on DC from my phone. This dual Bluetooth setup is amazing.

Do the Inzone work well on the PS5? How’s the mic quality? Ear comfort for long sessions? I’ve been waiting on the Pulse Explores to come out for awhile now. But if the Inzones are the same or better I might go that route.

Thank you for mentioning that in the mic test because it’s true the audio always sounds much worse in a RUclips video vs using it in person on the console. The ps5 has some sort of super audio upscaling cause it sounds so much better when I use party chat vs talking on discord
Question, pro contoler FN button volume up down and game chat mix left right does that work? Or do we have EQ settings in the ps5 menu same as with the pulse 3d?

Being planar drivers is why the battery is only 5 hours ei: they are normally hard to drive so more power to get them to sound they way they do. Great review man looking forward to mine coming in. And when you say tweaking these is probably more like better EQ’ing to your taste, which will probably come in a later update much like the OG elites
The vr mic is crazy good so I assumed it was going to be pretty solid
It definitely wouldn't have hurt to have rubber feet on the case.
But chip eating sounds is all part of the online gaming experience. 🤣
5 hour battery life is not that good.
$200 is asking a lot. I do agree that maybe $150 would've been a more fair price.

I saw the PC Mag review today and they mentioned the 3D audio was poor and so was the bass but I’m thinking that might be due to the issue with different ear top sizes like you mentioned.
Did you feel the 3D audio was poor compared to the Pulse 3D headset or the same?
I'd say Dope. I like the idea of these. Especially as a twitch streamer myself. Its one less wire while gaming. You know what would be cool though? Is if you can actually dual pair with your daily driver phone. Just one pair of Bluetooth earbuds for everything.

I'd love to see a comparison to the Inzone Buds. But I think my mind is made up already, the Inzone Buds are the ones for me. It's only missing the simultaneous bt+PS5 audio as far as I'm concerned, maybe I'll finally get that in my next headset purchase, but if these are my choices for earbuds right now the inzone is just more fully featured.

Simultaneous featuew is a big one.....Not sure why they have those in h9/7 and remove it in buds

Are there any visual cues as too how much battery is remaining on the buds while in use on the ps5 also is there any way to tell when the case is fully charged when that is being charged?
to me wired headsets will always be better i still use my hyper x and for my portal ill just use some sony headphones i have
I would love to see a video vs. the Sony inzone buds. I’m having a difficulty deciding if I should buy the Sony explore pulse over retail price or if should buy the inzone which is still selling for $200 . I don’t mind buying the explore pulse over retail but is it worth it .

Is there any type of Sidetone feature that lets you hear your own voice? I hate the plugged ear feeling when trying to talk
this is wha I hate about 99.9% of RUclips,, I learned ZERO about how good these are for its purpose...GAMING... the reason they exist . I dont care how they pair, how the store , how they are for for bass,,,,, wtf?! how are they for Spatial Audio?! how do they register ?! latency?! soundstage? IMAGING!? I mean... not ONE person is buying these for music !

it's crazy the new planar full size headphones coming in Feb with the charging stand are 149😂 I think somebody swapped the prices by accident and they kept it like that lol
Getting the planar driver that small and sounds they way it does probably was a lot of r and d, hence the price difference. The fully sized ones are probably comparable to the maxwell’s so tech that’s already been established but only time will tell with that’s one

It’s a little pricey and doesn’t have Noise Cancellation but being able to connect to multiple devices is cool and maybe I missed it but I wonder if the voice amplifier thing where he ate the chip works on your phone too ?? Idk but I’ll do little bit more research and probably get them, my PS5 controller speaker is so low and can’t hear the party that good, like I have to hold it to my ear.
What makes no sense is that these things link to the ps portal easily. The Playstation 5 you need a dongle?!?!?! 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

Instantly not dope, Sony created a problem that didn't need to exist, anyone remember the ps3? It fully supported Bluetooth and could be used as a mic didn't need to go out and buy an expensive set of name branded Sony headphones to be wireless, it's an excuse to make a problem to then make ur quarterly sales

… Sony needs to chill the heck out! I hate that if you wanna use earbuds with the PlayStation or portal, it has to be these. People will probably enjoy using their AirPods or Bose etc a lot more
I'm enjoying using my wired earbuds. I've been annoyed needing to use my bluetooth buds with my phone all the time. So latent, not comfortable.
Yeah I hear you but then again, these are all optional things for consumers. A lot of people do Pay Later options as well to finance luxuries like this so it ain’t that bad honestly
I'm not buying the portal because I already have a steam deck and I setup remote play inside and outside of the house with it, but I bought the edge controller and it's really freaking nice man

Miine keep cuttin out while using them via the dongle and psvr2 anyone having the same issue ? Im gunna use it with normal games on the ps5 itself to see the outcome works perfectly fine with the portal with the dongle and wireless

I can see that cheap plastic sliding case breaking very easily. Due to a drop or even just from opening and closing so many times.

Pass for me with no ANC no mute, you really expect this at $200. I'll get the Sony inzone buds when I can order them. 😊
That's a good point but you really got to do your research because if you're like me and like to connect multiple devices the inzone don't do that. They don't support Bluetooth multipoint.
You can literally be playing the game and be connected to your phone at the same time a call will come in and it will lower the sound of the game..
With that in mind that might be the reason why there's no meat button on the earbuds themselves because you can mute the mic on the controller while still talking on the phone and hearing what's going on on the game...
The price is too high, there's better earbuds at that same price, and at that same price, you can get the portal.
Nah I have to see the pulse elite headsets now. Once I see that vid I will make my decision on which to buy

$200 is crazy I could buy a portal, 3D elite or a dual sense for that money
They literally make like 50$ planar IEMs with a cable mind you but still. Planar has become the new hottness in ChiFi in ears so they are everywhere now. But a planar TWS for gaming is still kinda unique. These should be using planar drivers from Audeze, which would make it the cheapest in ear from Audeze and the first TWS from them or even using their drivers. Although Audeze are not known for making good in ears, Sony's true wireless offerings are mostly received well.
Interesting use case/question for you: My wife and I game in the same room (back-to-back). We're both interested in switching from over the ear headsets to in headphones. My concern here is the chat mic for these. Do you have any insight on this? We game together with my brother-in-law and his wife frequently. Because we're in the same room, sometimes it'll echo from each other's mic. Do you think we'd have that same issue with these? Thanks!
I’m very confused by that battery life. The AirPod pros are still the best earbuds ever made. Best case by far no competition great battery life, sound quality is fantastic. And that goddamn noise cancellation and transparency is king. I will quite often play with remote play instead of on my tv just because I can’t connect my AirPods to the ps5. Getting a switch in a few days weird that Nintendo of all company’s lets you connect Bluetooth audio devices to the switch
So as for this vs the Pulse Elite, does anyone know why these are more expensive? Is it just the portability aspect? The Pulse Elite seems like the better deal if you're just using them for gaming headphones at home. Especially with the included display/charging stand. I'm sure they sound better as well, just based on the fact the speakers are bigger. I know we're still waiting about a month until they come out but, can anyone shed light on this for me?
5:15 - you think it suck’s not having a mute button on them!? Nah! I dislike that I can’t mute/unmute my Pulse 3D from the controller, as if I want to have a moan at someone on CoD, I have to take my hand off the controller to unmute it from the headset.
Being able to purely unmute/mute from the controller is so much better 🙌🏻

5 hours of use time?? That’s crazy low. Especially having them for pc where even if I’m not gaming, I’m watching tv shows/movies, listening to music or just browsing stuff.
Do these have the ability to use only one at a time? Or do I *have* to use both? Typically when at work, I throw a single earbud in so I can still hear. I know lots of people will say audio pass-through, but... eh, I still prefer it.
Came to RUclips literally looking for a comparison video between Pulse Explore and Inzone earbuds and I haven't found one yet, so a big yes from me, if you're on the fence about making that.
Audeze the audiophile company that sony acquired has put planar magnetic drivers in there wired iems and now sony has them in the wireless earbuds in this video. I have the hifi man he4xx over the ear wired headphones and they use planar magnetic drivers. Planar magnetic drivers were designed to have bass that is tight and precise and to minimize and have less distortion than there dynamic drivers counterpart since most headphones and speakers use dynamic drivers.
Just got mines , there okay not the best not to loud as they should be and bass etc, my recommendation is get a 3.5 transmitter with aptx codec earbuds and you will be fine , get the boss comfort 2 model and you'll have the best money can buy

I would love this for my ps5. I worked from home and have a headset on all day. I stream to my PC just so I can use my wireless buds already. Would love to be able to pair something this size to my ps5
I have the regular pulse headset which was in the bundle with my PS5 and I never use it, because I wear glasses and headphones are so uncomfortable. I am very much an ear bud person.
How about game chat with friends and listening to the game how balanced are they? Versus is the game volume louder then your friends talking

Not having a mute button is kinda a hit for me wanting to buy it(I want it for my PC). I don't like to use push to talk, so I always have it on. So I always mute from the mic. I might still buy it for the PS5.

I wanted these normally but i decided to wait and go for the wireless pulse elites instead. They wont have those fancy drivers but literally EVERY set of headphones I own and have owned have been earbuds and I think my ears are sick of it. I just want a solid pair of over ears now.
They will have the same fancy drivers though! So no worries about waiting
I think even at $150 they are really overpriced for the amount of negatives you listed. You can get WAY higher quality earbuds for $200

You do realize these have input lag? even if its small it has them. @@PovElijah Plenty of gaming earbuds that can easily reach the same input delays. Imagine thinking there was no delay with the pulse, there might not be a noticeable one but even wired devices have input delay. That's like thinking your ps5 controller doesnt get input lag when connected to the ps5. the response is not 0ms EVER. You will never get a device with no delay. these statements just show that sony fanboys do no real research and just blurt the same incorrect facts that they hear LMAO keep shilling for a company that couldn't even care enough to make a browser for the portable so that it could be used at hotels and public wifis. Such an L company its not even funny

The Edifier NeoBuds Pro 2 are very comparible with a better sound quality and similar input delays for $129.99 I personally only use wired but look at any audiophiles review on these earbuds and they give plenty of recommendations that beat it for cheaper.@@idopestarrify

Compare the inzone to the pulse buds. Saw a review were the dude says the inzone has alot of static noise whilst idle, please test that.
I bought them day one. I enjoy them. Soundstage is exceptional. One big issue that Sony will need to address. Is while using on PS5 with the dongle they seem to disconnect far too frequently. Should NOT be happening when using a direct link to the dongle. Incredibly annoying during games that are competitive.
Planning on buying these, how often do they disconnect form tge console? Is this an everyday thing? I cant imagine playing siege with some wanky ass headphones
