Brava to you for thrifting! I used to shop at Goodwill, too, until a couple of years ago when I discovered the Big Cheeses at GW make somewhere between $200 thousand and 1 million dollars per year (depending on what internet search you do). I also found out that employees with disabilities are often paid less than minimum wage (as low as 22 cents per hour), whistleblowers have been fired, and safety issues have led to tragedy. Now my fave thrift store is The Humane Society Thrift Store, also the fave of all our town which voted it the Best Thrift Store - even against GW! We also have thrift stores for hospice, Teen Challenge, and other local charities. I try to be even more ETHICAL about where my little money goes.
Hi, I want you to know I am learning so much from you and I have been selling clothes for decades. Thank you for teaching me all these new keywords. These video's are so informative. I make sure and check everyday to see if you've uploaded a new video. These are my favorite! I love the examples along with keywords. Priceless!!
I love these videos. I learn so much. I would like a video that shows me how you do the titles and where you put keywords. I am so new to this, and you are a great teacher. 😊
I like the darker 90's styles like Cruel Intentions (maybe that was actually Y2K now that I remember), Practical Magic. But I also like the kind of darker preppy style portrayed in some movies also Cruel Intentions, Buffy, Gilmore Girls (though I hated this show.) I have a big tub full of 90's black velvet pieces too. This is what I have the most fun thrifting. These and modern and vintage Rocker Chic styles. I'm always trying to think of the right ways to get these out to people with the right hashtags. Bella Swan being considered whimsigoth is a new one for me haha Abercrombie was preppy all the way. Growing up in the 90's, it's funny to see things rebranded as something completely opposite of what they were associated with originally.
I just recently started watching your videos and they have been so helpful! I have had to stop several times just to go add better keywords to my listings 😂 I will definitely be paying more attention to style based pickups!Thank you!!
I love your hauls and explanations about the "strength" of the pieces that you pick. I find them very informative Thank you so much. I would love to learn more about men's pieces as well.
Hi! Great point on the men’s pieces - I’ve been diving deeper into men’s pieces so I’ll be sure to try and add some more of those in if I have them on recording days! Thank you for watching :)
I love these videos where you share your finds and the keywords and other wisdom the most! This was a great one, enjoyed very much and learned a couple things. Thanks sweetheart 💗
Aw thank you! It makes me so happy to read comments like this - it’s crazy to me to know the people enjoy watching me just talk about something I love!
I love all your haul videos! I'm also in Resellers Edge and I'm learning so much about style based pick ups, and it's SO much fun! I think I would rather source for style based over brand at this point and I never thought I would say that. Style based always seemed so overwhelming to me, but you've made it so easy to learn and I'm pretty much obsessed :) I feel the overwhelmed with vintage as well, but I'm starting to grasp that now too, and it's so exciting! It's made me love my business again, and thank you for that!
Aw thank you so much for leaving this comment! Style based sourcing brought fresh life into the business for me too back when I really needed it most (mentally and financially haha) and I’m so happy to be able to share it now, especially with how deep we go on resellers edge! Thank you for commenting and also for being part of our REU family!!
Those dresses/slip dresses are all gorgeous. Thank you so much for this great information. I am so nervous about buying on style but you are definitely making it easier.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful haul. I’m finally catching on to what you’ve been saying all this time. I’d love to see a what sold off some of the items you’ve showed, that would be awesome. Thanks for your style based passion for clothes🤩
Hi! Everything that you see in our videos are bought and sold the same week :) we sell on whatnot and also are wholesalers where we sell items to other resellers and thrift stores that list and sell the items themselves!
Hi Bethany, love the energy of your videos, thank you for taking the time to do them…question, do you guys ever make what sold videos? Would love to see what you are selling.
Hi there! Thank you for watching and commenting :) we sell wholesale to other resellers and stores who do sell on platforms, and 200+ items per week on whatnot, so everything you’re seeing in our videos is sold same week in one way or the other!
Love learning all this great advice on style based sourcing. Do you then not even put the brand in the title and then add more keywords on a lot of these pieces? I'm thinking for the items where the brand is not really notable. Or do you always include it?
Hi there! We mostly sell wholesale to other resellers and stores across the country who DO list these items on platforms like eBay, posh, etc. and are sellers on whatnot as well where a lot of these pieces also end up!
I am trying to figure out the whole vintage thing. Does a dress have to been vintage to call it that? Or can it look vintage and it be okay that i call it that?
@shannon1446 Aw thank you! That’s really nice of you :) I don’t mind at all though honestly - putting myself out there on social media will of course lead to some silly comments! I just like to comment back every once in a while haha
“Are you kidding?! Look at her!” I love winessing the joy you have for the items you source and learn SO much with every video!
Haha aw thank you! I truly do love this work :)
I’m sooo happy and appreciative of people like you to dig through it all and save these treasures. So sad how much goes into our landfills
Thank you so much! So sweet of you to comment :)
I continue to love watching your style-based videos! When I'm able to source an item just based on style I get extra excited. Thanks for sharing :)

You'll find out the humane society is corrupt also. They all are (big corps and institutions)

In the 90's us goth girls wore layered vintage slips out to dance. So it's cool to see it come back!!
It’s SUCH a cool tress’s to see coming back

I’ve been using the keyword “honeymoon” for those lacy gowns like that red one. 12:11
Great keyword too!

Interesting info on slip dresses. My question is under what category you list them? Dresses or Underwear?
Hi there! I list them under dresses
Hi there, Great video!! One Question when listing a vintage slip that people wear as a dress what catagory on ebay do you put it in?
Hi! I list them under dresses :)
Love learning all this great advice on style based sourcing. Do you then not even put the brand in the title and then add more keywords on a lot of these pieces? I'm thinking for the items where the brand is not really notable. Or do you always include it?
Hi there! There are definitely exceptions to the brand in title rule, it’ll just highlight depend on both the piece and the brand :)
This is so valuable! Are you using brands on your style based listings in the title, or you find unnecessary?
Hi! It highly depends on the piece and the brand honestly, I’ve done both many times!
Hi, where can I find your ebay and or poshmark stores? I found Trash Pandas but not anything that says thrift. Thanks!
Hi there! A dress does need to be vintage in order to use the term “vintage” and to qualify, that is 20 years or older :)
Is fairy goth and whims goth supposed to be one word?
I personally would use whimsigoth as one, and fairy goth as 2!
Very dark dark video.
Just talk 2 much to introduce anything. What's funny
Feel free to not watch if you don’t enjoy our content, nobody’s forcing you :)
@@TrashPandasThrift I think you are terrific and I learn so much from these videos. That person stinks!
