  • When is spinal surgery really necessary? When can it be avoided? Ross Hauser, MD reviews the Digital Motion X-ray in a middle-aged woman with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome who is suffering from worsening symptoms of GERD, migraines, fainting, brain fog, and more. Her case demonstrates how DMX is used to help decide when Prolotherapy is the preferred option and when certain symptoms may indicate that neck surgery is necessary.
Caring Medical Florida is located in Fort Myers, Florida in the US. We would love to see how we can help you if you are suffering from neck pain, migraines, balance issues, or other neurological symptoms without definitive answers. Often, we are able to pinpoint if and how the symptoms may be related to one primary cause in the neck, as well as other lifestyle factors. While we treat patients who travel to our center from all around the globe, we are not able to take on all cases. If you are looking for our team to review your case and possibly see you in our center, you can contact us through www.caringmedi..., call us at 239-308-4773, or email info@caringmedical.com.

The video represents only the featured person/people’s experience or opinion. Every therapy/treatment has patients who experience varying levels of success and failure. Results may not be the same from patient to patient, even with a similar diagnosis, as the body’s internal status is unique to each individual patient.

Gotta say this is pure genius. I would say it sounds like a whole bunch of fluff with loose associations drawn if I wasn't experiencing it myself in an almost identical presentation and just was existing as my scientific background self (where we mostly study the typical rather than the atypical presentations and thus the connections you draw would seem very loosely linked--but that's exactly what EDS and other heritable CTDs are quite literally). This really hit home and clicked and I think you just helped me crack the code in my current near identical symptoms that are confusing everyone around me and ravaging my whole life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! 🥺

My migraines are going away and my body is feeling much better. NAD+ increases energy expenditure in the mitochondria. It helps you age better. It's only been a few weeks and we both feel better. It takes 8 weeks to be fully effective and we have been on it about 2 weeks. I highly recommend for anyone struggling with any progressive disease or condition. Spread the word please. I also don't recommend trying to stop any other therapy or treatment you're doing.

Is it Neuro Cardiogenic or is it Orthostaic Convulsive Syncope? Is it the SLC6a2 variant and POTS or is it a Hypoperfusion kink in my spine?
Damage to my MALS causing further restriction? Is it damage to the Brachial Plexus ? Is it Multi- Plexus Damage?
Vagus Nerve Damage due to EDS damage and POTS Dysautonomia?
Is it CCI / AAI...am I mis dx...was Morvans missed?...MS or MECFS?...have had extensive testing.
6 years of dx, travel and over 30 speacilists.2.5 years of convulsive syncope issues. Now working with my 7th neuro/ 3rd Dysautonomia speacilist..and trying to find my new 8th Cardio that speacilizes in Dysautonomia!!!!
I cant drive, travel or even ride anymore with out a serious convulsive syncope event, I have had to close my business and have not worked in 2.5 years...I am mid aged. This has been such an exhaustion to me and my family.

Hi Maddy, Really sorry to hear about your recent onset of these issues. What you're saying makes sense to us and often requires a more comprehensive look into someone's overall health. Glad you are doing some research and exploring possible options. As you see in this video and others on our channel, our office specializes in seeing patients who have all of these symptoms and a lot of others determine if there is a structural reason for their symptoms related to cervical spine instability that affects the vital vagus nerves, arteries, and veins that travel through the neck. If you would like our team to review your case in more detail and see if you sound like a good fit for our center, we'd be happy to help. We wish you all the best as you navigate potential options to resolve your symptoms and get your health back on track. Take care, Maddy.

Got rid of coffee, which was very hard to do, started eating smaller portions, lots of greens, no more junk food, fried foods, spicy foods. So far so good. I feel like I'm getting better. I visited doctor a few times and they don't seem to diagnose it fully. Over the counter tablets hardly worked. I was able to relieve the pain by trying to sleep for an hour or two. I've got gerd, slight dizziness that comes and goes, occasional voice weakness, pins and needles, in different parts of my body that comes and goes and occasional brain fog. I've been in 2 high impact car accidents in the last decade, I'm also in the maritime industry so most days I'm rocking on a boat. I also had a bout with lymes disease last year so I wonder if that is contributing?

I've tried out NAD+. Not sure if I have EDS but I have these symptoms of it. My boyfriend does too with hyperextend ability. He was suggested by a doctor that he has EDS.

Hi sienna, Sorry to hear about your symptoms! Glad you are looking into what could be happening. We'd love to help you. In our opinion, these symptoms frequently have a structural cause that relates back to the vagus nerve, as it's the primary nerve that innervates the organs associated with these functions. If you would like to delve a lot deeper into this topic and how cervical spine dysstructure can create these symptoms and how we treat the cause here, you may want to check out our vagus nerve webinar series: ruclips.net/video/Cnmu4LW9jZ8/видео.html Or this shorter video on cervical instability and the multiple conditions it is involved with: ruclips.net/video/iIgpxXQNM3M/видео.html We'd be happy to review your case in more detail and see if you sound like a good candidate for our center. Hi Posthuman, Thanks for the question. Yes, since they are injections, they are intense, as you will hear some patients discuss when we interview them in our patient experience playlist, but they felt that it was worth it, especially when the other treatments were not resolving or even managing their symptoms. Most patients need around 3-8 treatments, given approximately 3-6 weeks apart. Wishing you all the best in health and as you navigate possible options for your situation. Take care.

Hi Blu Berry, So sorry to hear what you have been dealing with. Glad you are doing some research to see what else may be going on. In our experience, symptoms like what you've listed are often connected and have an underlying structural cause of cervical instability, as we see in our office with cases like this. If you feel that there could be something structural that has been missed by those who are just prescribing medication to mask the symptoms and you'd like to see if there is something structurally unstable, we'd be happy to talk with you further about your case and see if you sound like a good candidate for our neck center in Florida. It will come back because anti reflux tablets do nothing but to make it worse. It happens when the four organs stomach, liver, spleen intestines get out of whack. Heat (from the liver) rises causing reflux
You can get better. I'm trying now. I too have lost lots of weight and it's extremely scary. You have to sort your digestive tract out no cols foods or drinks soups broths etc cold showers to get the heat out of the liver, green powder before bed. It's so difficult to shift it but is doable!

I am thinking this is me. I had strange health problems since 2008. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure when I graduated in 2008. I had so many symptoms and I went to many doctors, and I am still have symptoms. Right now is a new symptom. I am dizzy and lightheaded for over a week now. I had blood tests and the doctor said I am a little dehydrated, which does not make sense anyway. I am getting off of my amlodipine and switching to propranolol this weekend. So far, the propranolol is doing better maintaining my blood pressure. I am still lightheaded. I suspect it is sinuses because when I went to the dentist, they kept saying I have serious sinuses in my head. I had no clue sinuses could be this bad. I wonder if these are the root of all my health problems since 2008.
