Remember ladies and gentlemen, the same type of people who didn't wear face masks during the pandemic are the same type of people who didn't wear eye protection during the eclipse.
I don't have money so I just didn't see the eclipse because I don't have eye protection I did take a photo with my cellphone though cause I wanted to see it
I looked at the near-totality on Monday THROUGH SAFE GLASSES four times (less than five seconds each time) and had eye discomfort/watering within an hour later. What gives?!
Help me. What if I accidentally noticed the sun walking outside my house, then looked at the eclipse with my glasses and glanced at it without my glasses I forgot ny. How long when the glasses weren't working, accidentally looked at the sun when I didn't know it was over not really directly, and hours later I accidentally looked at the sun looking around my front yard.
I looked at eclipse without the glasses during totality, and I'm somewhat concerned about viewing the sun by accident walking out of my house. I just. Wanted to make sure I knew. Where everything was. It was bright where I was. I don't know if it was close or su.nn. I still see. Normally right now
Our forefathers witnessed the solar eclipse without damaging their eyesight. Now a days we also see the glimpses of sun throughout our life span , including the solar eclipsed sun which looks just like the regular sun ... without special glasses.
Horrible story telling. Yes, may be if someone force themselves staring at the bright sun ... without any light exposure control. Nobody does. Since, we and other creatures were born and raised playing under the sun. Funny, I saw some individuals walking hunched over in their hoodies, not daring to look up ... while I was taking pictures of partial solar eclipse with my phone. There is no point directly looking at the eclipsed sun, because it looks just like the regular sun.

Sunburn on the front of your eye ? From what I read it isn't serious and will go away in a few days.

Yup, its disappointing. I think we're the only 2 human comments in here.
You can reverse the affects by looking at the sun 24hrs after the eclipse. Hope this helps!

...or the ones who didn't look asked those who did what they saw before they went blind... and them sent them off into the forest to die
