most 300’s did not come with forged internals.. the only ones that did were f500-f600 trucks and even those only came with a forged crankshaft. what makes the 300 strong is the 7 main bearing caps for 6 cylinders...
This is a push rod engine so basically you can raise the compression by shaving the head or putting a thinner head gaskets. That will be cheaper and easier than an EFI kit with a turbo. Yes you wouldn't get as much hp as a turbo but most people modifying this engine are poor and want cheap reliable power or else if they had the money they would go with a v8 or 2jz
True, but there is nothing as reliable as this engine so far. And you can get it on the cheap. But remember that the whole idea behind the (Boring Engine into a tuner dream) is to try the best realistic options that are available in Automation game to turn a boring engine with minimum HP to Beast.
Yep rebuilding my 1986 F-150 with a 300 inline 6. Mine has the shitty feedback carb system. I'm ripping all the emissions shit out (EGR, smog pump, feedback system) and probably going to replace the ignition system with a duraspark II ignition system with 2 barrel carb from Holley. I just took the heads off today and burning oil like crazy :) and found out only 3 or 4 cylinders were probably firing LOL. Just goes to show how reliable these motors are. My brother drove it 80-100 miles on the highway with little to no oil (not knowing) and it didn't lock up or die on him. These things are crazy low end torque monsters so I don't ever expect to race around with it, but I like it because it can pull and will probably last forever after I'm done rebuilding it.
@@xon2013 to be honest, i just wanna drive down the highway at 80mph and drive up an incline of any kind without bogging down and having a massive drop in power. Both climbing hills and going moderately fast are not the friends of stock 300's.
@@ThereIsNoGodOnlyUs To be honest, my brother found a cheap 351w yesterday, so now we probably going to go buy it and fix it up and throw it in. As long as the block isn't cracked or the cylinder walls aren't grooved, we will buy it and use it. He has a FE 390 in his 1968 F-250. He climbs hills no problem. I was thinking I would like to rebuild 300 inline 6 but having that kind of power is too fun lol; and the 351w we found was so cheap so if it's still ok, then we will use that instead. Probably end up rebuilding the 300 inline 6 anyways and maybe resell it. Might just keep it on my grandma's ranch for later use :)
The Single Barrel is the best carburetor for the engine. Yes you gain horsepower yes gang torque but you shifted the torque band you make it higher you don't want that at least I don't I own a 300 straight 6 from 1978 I want low-end torque.
i am 14 and don't have a computer or any money to buy one so the closest thing to this game i can do is watch you. Can you do a carbureted supercharged 7.5l 460 v8 like this one. itstillruns.com/ford-75-460-specifications-7453294.html
I appreciate your awesome support, i like your vision of a beast of an engine but currently there are no superchargers yet in Automation game. Only turbos and a carburetors and fuel injection.
I love the Engines from the 60s and the 70s. My dad has an old Ford Mustang with a 302 Ford Windsor engine and it sounds amazing

Another thing about shaving the head. It gives you more valve lift and probably duration, too. Lul.

Dude! Yes! Thank you so much!
They sound good.
Would upgrading the intakes help?
A little, but it will increase the service cost and the noise of the engine.
91 f150, 300 L6, 5spd manual, 4x4... $200 in ignition components, and a custom exhaust. Not fast (yet) but it still drifts with a clutch kick🤭👌
Why does that video show the engine with a timing belt? Those i6s use timing gears.
Thank you for the simulation. I want to twin turbo with a comp cams 268 my 300.
That would be cool!
Powernation Engine power turbocharged and hopped up a 300 six. They got 522hp 597lbft at 13.2 psi!

Sounds like a duramax diesel lol
😁👍
I got a 1986 F-150 300 inline 6 and I can attest to this. It does sound like a diesel when revving it out :)
Yep sounds amazing
In 1987 Ford converted this engine to use fuel injection and dual exhaust manifolds.
Thanks for the info
2.5 inch exost pipe is factory standard for the 300 i6
In brasil this engine was produced with a EFI injection with twin trottle bodies
Correct.
make more videos like this
I will 👍

ok
What would that cost? And who can I have do it?
Turbo 94 300 has over 500k miles and runs like new 266hp 317 ft/lbs
What is this program?
Automation the car company tycoon game.
First
Pretty sure you have exhaust on wrong side of head.
In automation you can't out the intake and exhaust on the same side , I know that this inline 6 is running with both on the same side 👍
The aspect ratio of the vidéo is quite strange
Ford F-1000 engine 😂😂😂😂
