Wiki:
The Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door pony car manufactured by Plymouth from 1964 to 1974.
The first-generation Barracuda, a hardtop fastback, was based on the A-body platform (shared with the Valiant). The first generation car featured distinctive wraparound back glass and was marketed from 1964 to 1966.
The second-generation Barracuda, built from 1967 to 1969, though still Valiant-based, was heavily redesigned. Body designs were now available in fastback, hardtop coupé, and convertible versions.
The third generation, offered from 1970 to 1974, was no longer based on the A-body, but on the Chrysler E-body. The completely new design was similar to the Dodge Challenger and available in hardtop and convertible body styles. The Barracuda was discontinued after the 1974 model year.

A bodies don't get enough love !
It’s good to see that you took such care in restoring this classic bad ass ride. I’ve had two of these Barracudas and I loved both of them, a 67 and 68. I restored the 67 with my step dad. It was a great project and I wish I still had it. The 68 was great but couldn’t give the car the time and love it deserved. Thank you for breathing new life into this classic muscle car.
Thanks 👍
my first car was a '68 Notchback fish. 318 auto. Ran great! Love this build! Well done!
Had a Formula S and miss it every day. Beautiful build and love the stripes.
Don't have to live in North America to love Mopar, very nice barracuda!!!
Saved another one and put some extra juice in it. well done Finny!
Awesome fabrication skills!
beautiful car but i wouldve went with an all white ext , no stripes; factory hubs..but thx for posting.. had no idea a 60's barricuda was SO cool..
That is one pretty ride.
Nice job!! Working on one myself that has been in the family since new, can't wait to see the rest of the story!
This body style of Barracuda fits the name barracuda.
Great Build! You have done a wonderful job with this car.
Thanks 👍
Good looking job love the color, sound, craftsmanship. Well done.
Thanks
This car is really nice
Man I love your paint scheme lol .
Nice work. I like the build.
Good work .... great result .... greetings from Germany
Excellent build!
It's a fantastic build but I would remove the stripe and go with white steel wheels and dog dish caps...the mean and lean look!
Absolutely beautiful car.
Thanks 👌
My favorite mopar
Beautiful car. Nice work.
Nice work!
Closed road in Mexico.......Very safe and smart.....🤣
you got skills
I had a top team of my friends with modifying the car
nice im a fan of barracuda
Which starter did you use? I wish my starter sounded like that lol. I have the same engine in my truck but it sounds more like a mini van starting up
WOW nice
That should've been a 273 and not a 318 if it was the numbers matching engine. There were only 2 V8 options available in 67 which were the 273 and 383. In 68 the 318 replaced the 273, they added the 340, kept the 383 as a formula s package and made a very limited run of 426 hemi cars. In 69 the V8 options were 318, 340, 383 and 440 super commando. Not at all hating on you. I love these cars and actually own a 67 fastback myself. This was a great build and looking forward to seeing the next mopar you get.
first engine in my car from factory was 273 , someone has replaced it in USA to 318 and I put g3 hemi in it
@@tyyp360 that's pretty typical to be honest. Not too many 273s floating around out there and 318s are a dime a dozen. You can get one from a junkyard for $200. Love your build though.
PERKELE!!!!!!
You said a 904 trans, what did you do about a torque converter?? Looking to use a torque flight trans myself in my Formula S!
If was stock 318 torque conventer and now ptc custom made ...
beautiful car!
repetitive music just annoying!
Like the barracuda. 💀
8:23.
Really beatiful car, but the one on the backgrown it's nice too.
¿What car is it?
I think it is chevy corvair
MAGEE
👍😎👍.
Guessing Finland is a tad behind on image stability tech
What transmission did you go with?
Tf904
What's the next step after pulling the 5.7 ?
397” stroker kit almost ready 👌
@@tyyp360 Niiiiiiice ! 👍👍👍👍
392 would have bin better but great work

You could've built a meaner 340 for cheaper and not had the two issues that plague every 5.7 I love the car though. It's my 2nd favorite car. In an ideal world I'd have a 67 charger parked next to a 67 cuda in my garage.
A 5.7 litre engine is actually 347.7 cubic inches. It would be a lot ore accurate if you put 348 cu.in. decal.
read and learn en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Hemi_engine#5.7
TBull blah, blah Come on, Mr Pedantic, get a life
Nice to see !
I don't believe the 318 can installed from the factory until 1968. Not in 1967.
From factory it was 273 and skyblue colour.
318 was a option in 1967. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plymouth_Barracuda
@@thost Sorry, but read the data in your link. 1967's came with a 6 cyl, 2 and 4 bbl 273, or a 383. The 318 started in 1968.
@@thost s the pony-car class became established and competition increased, Plymouth began to revise the Barracuda's engine options.
1967 Barracuda fastback
In 1967, while the 225 cu in (3.7 L) slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in (4.5 L) to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in (6.3 L) "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp (209 kW), the latter available only with the Formula Spackage.
@@terryguriel3821 In 67 I believe the 318 was the “wide” block version. It was redesigned in 68.
You rebuilt everything.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas
station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel
pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in
the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems,
turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and
New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be
done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of
crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-((
Then we use ethanol RE85 , to replace the gasoline
@@tyyp360 Biggest problem is China, China banned any combustion technology...they told our EU politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow combustion based traffic or industry after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China.... China just rules the world...:-(
There's nothing that I hate worse than seeing classic Mopars going overseas .
You can allways buy those lost cars back 😅 witch we have restored in Europe , but you need lots of $$$$
Humbling skills mate & great result
