Dude! Your in a league all by yourself! Why others are wasting my time showing how many propellers are in the box and parroting everyone, you’ve left them behind.....job well done!
In Davinci Resolve, if the file names are sequential it'll treat it as one file when you drag from the media bin, which will be set at whatever the timeline frame rate is. From there can use the stablisation either in edit pane or color pane, where Translation or Similarity mode will probably have a more desired effect than the default Perspective mode. Tracking can be done in the fusion area to just keep track of a specific spot and stabilize to that (which course may need some cropping). I like this demonstration because you can get a 4K+ video out of a mini this way.
Just some simple filmmaking techniques. Nothing special, but it sure looks pretty cool when used properly. I still like this video. There are some things I would have done differently but it’s life. :D
"this is a skill you will learn if you practise every day...for a very long time" :D I think I am beyond trying to become this skilful, now I just watch your vids to enjoy great flying and cinematic footage.
Keanu Haumahu there’s no question if you value image quality as the highest priority, Mavic 2 Pro is the choice. That’s why it’s at a premium price. But the Mini is brilliant, it’s definitely my overseas travel drone, which is why I bought it.
@@jamiemink3379 Hmmm. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll probably get this as my first drone, since I am only planning to use it during travels. And to get used to flying, then get the mavic later on. Have a great dayyy
Dude!! Amazing! I love the spin you put on these and I’m so pumped to see how well this video is doing! Thank you for the shout out, and keep up the great work!
Dude! :D firstly THANK YOU!!! FOR the inspiration! That was so cool! You gave me an idea for a very successful RUclips video! And that effect! When I first saw it, I was like damn! That is soo cool! I wish I could have thought of that. Which in my book counts as a very good idea! So again! Another cookie to you! Hopefully maybe someday I could do a collab with Maybe Someday :D
Awesome tutorial. I had a go with my mavic mini and the editing part in premiere pro looked really good and the quality but after exporting the finished product was super pixelated so came out really bad in the end.... Any suggestions around the export settings you can give as not sure what I’m doing wrong?
Good style of vid and informative..from the drone techniques and cam options to the editing, in a bite sized chunk of time. Perfect, more like these my good man
@SkyHighFilms what would be a good video editor for a beginner to use with the mavic mini ? My platform is an MacBook Pro. Great videos, thank you for taking your time to share.
Hey! For a beginner I would definitely recommend checking out iMovie. Just don't use those built in transitions. I will make a video on how to start using iMovie properly. :) It's a good tool, that is for free!
Nice video, I bought a Mavic Mini and I am learning a lot with you. I Have to ask something, is that possible to do it at the same way in Davinci resolve? Thanks
Riga, Lovely City!! Are the rules better there? I have a Anafi (320g) flying in the country side would be a problem? Nice video, I'm still starting with drones, but just because my dream is flying.
When you import the images in premiere you should not import them as individual images of 4 seconds, just import them as a image sequence with a specified frame rate. There is a function for this in premiere.
Dude please help!!! Your channel is the best for Mavic Mini I have to say thank you I've been learning a lot things with you. Here in Brazil there is no great tutorials of this drone. But please can you tell me if is it possible to make something similar in Davinci resolve free version (talking about hyperlapse)? Thx Again
Janabi Photography depends on what fps you want yous sequence to be in The easiest math would be with 25fps. So if 25 photos is one second. That means 60 (seconds in a minute) x 25 (photos in one second) = 1500 photos. But I doubt that this would be possible with the Mavic mini. Because this would take like 25minutes to do if shooting every second... battery won’t allow this.
Love this - looks awesome! 🤘Thanks for sharing how to do this, going to try this with my Mavic Pro and using Resolve but currently only have 50 mins flight time u see my belt - wish me luck 😂🙈

Such beautiful work, wow, you motivated me to try a hyperlapse with my Mavic Mini.... Busy charging it up to 100% now so that I can fly it all sweetly.. If I charge my battery to 100% and wait like a day or so, then when I start up my Mini the battery is at 98% or 97% depending on how long like a day or more respectively.. So I fly it for a minute to get to 93 or so abd then charge it to 100% and this way I have a really full battery on take off.. Sweet Keep well and be safe bro.. 😁
Late on this. Very helpful stuff. I’m having a couple problems in After effects though. One thing is when I first go to move my tracking box with my mouse the cursor just moves the little x in the middle, how do I move the whole set of 2 boxes together. Or is my mouse the problem? If I move with the arrow keys the two boxes plus the x all move together to where I want.
Hey I know I probably won't receive a reply but I plan on buying a mavic mini however, I live in Canada and it gets pretty cold. I see your filming in the snow and I was just wondering what your experience with cold weather flying has been, just want to make sure I don't destroy my drone trying to fly in the cold.
Lol damn was not expecting a response. Thanks for taking the time to respond! I'll be sure to do my own tests with the cold weather before taking any long flights.
Very cool man! But didn't you know you can import a bunch of pictures as a sequence if you click the option in the Import dialog box? It will save you some work ;)

Winter is a good backdrop for this effect because everyone is driving slower on the icy roads.
Unless they have Ladas in rural Siberia.

So many cool things are going to keep happening with this drone.
I hope we get full manual control for video through an update it's kind of stupid that it doesn't have it otherwise it's awesome.
