- We visited the Space Needle in Seattle after our Alaska cruise in June. The elevator rides were quick though the operator provided some narration.

At the top there were some beautiful panoramic views of the Seattle skyline and its surroundings, including Mount Rainier. We even saw our cruise ship, the Holland America Amsterdam, still docked at Smith Cove Pier 91. We also saw several sea planes take off which was pretty cool.
It was a nice place to people-watch as well, and we got to take some time-lapses. The tickets were not cheap, and we were surprised that the prices were lower at certain times (earlier in the day). Though there was savings when we bought the combo ticket with the Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum. Overall we enjoyed our second visit to this world-famous Seattle icon!

As someone from Washington, I feel sometimes its nice to be able to appreciate views like this. Sometimes we just got to let go and enjoy life.

I went there in summer 2019 before the pandemic. Thank God. The Space Needle was also newly renovated and more modern when I visited.
I was told it spins...is that true?
@@twintwo278 the floor spins counterclockwise inside on the lower level.
And I bet the elevator was an elevator too, in fact, I bet it was the only elevator to be that elevator.
God, I have always wanted to visit the space needle and the entire seattle
Hope you get to one day!
Nice vid. I've always wanted to visit there.
Thanks! 🙂 This is certainly a top destination for Seattle if you go.

Went there yesterday loved it
I went there today and very much enjoyed my entire visit. But the weird thing about it was when I was in the gift shop I still felt like the floor was still rotating but of course it wasn’t.

"iS iT a GolDeN eLevAtOr"
Looks like wonder tower from Arkham city
That 10$ 🌭🤣
I used to think the space needle went to space
Hahah many people i know think that. In 1962 the space race was going on and the top of the needle was supposed to look like a flying saucer.
240m/min
Don’t go there hungry. $$$$$$$$
Learned that the hard way
Last time I was there about 40 years ago, of course it was overpriced but the food actually wasn’t all that bad, that’s in the revolving restaurant at the top. But then of course having to pay to ride in the elevator up and down to get to the restaurant. A tourist trap, yes, but a nice view at the top!
Very nice
