Vancouver, BC is doing it's best to catch up, but in fairness they're ALL Port cities, no matter the politics. It's complicated. Even with Canada's huge "safety net" we're being buried by drugs and those with "needs".

If I pick up girl at a bar, I would have to buy her drinks and dinner before we get busy - I'm still "paying for it." In Toronto I just walk into a full service massage spa, pick a girl, or book one on their website, and have fun. The girl I meet at the bar or mall is likely not going to give me the "extras" I like :)
