Just watched your review and went to their website .... now I am making a list ... Christmas is coming and I hate buying tools but when I do I buy the best
@@TeranAtelier never cry when you purchase a quality item ... assuming you plan to use the tool or plan to make into some for of tabletop decoration ... hopefully use the tool
The crimson guide guy(I think she, not sure) is a very nice person and helpful. I bought 3 different pricking Iron and the only problem is that shipping to Canada is costlier than from Japan or Europe. The paint dauber looks great and other makers make a similar item. I bought a long time ago Kiridashi knife(not intended to the leathercraft) is very similar to the skiving knife you bought. I bought a pen-like burnisher, marker awl, with a bearing edge paint tool(all in one) from the Dream factory of Korea is a good tool for leathercraft
Nice! It is good to try lots of different suppliers as you don't really know which will be good. I recently ordered some M35 steel bars and plan to make my own knives with them. Hopefully they turn out well and I will make a video about them. Dream Factory seem to make some really nice looking tools, I think I have seen some other people use them before.
Thank you Everyone for Watching!
Make sure to check out my other leather tools and materials videos:

Love my crimson hides skiving knife. Best value out there.
Yes it is excellent value.
Love my Crimson Hides pricking irons and that curved handle pairing knife would be very useful too. Great review, keep up the good work.
Thanks! The knife is doing great so far.

@@eddieohearn17 That's right. A good tool can pay for itself off very quickly.

How does that curved knife perform skiving longer stretches of leather?
The curve makes it a little bit more comfortable hold compared to a straight handle, other than that it does not affect skiving.
