I have been following Brene Brown for only the last two years. In that time she has boosted my confidence when I felt down. Her research and transference of this research to us helps us understand ourselves and how we TICK!! Get into the Arena, live, experience and embrace the rewards by being vulnerable!

Dr. Brown's findings have been groundbreaking. It seems so basic but it is definitely changing people's minds because she is providing actual data on it.

Watched your Netflix movie and lady you are right on - till you started talking privilege. I may have what is called white skin, but I was raised by the state, so people like me were disadvantaged from jump. Saying a people are privileged lets the real culprits off the hook. Only the governments can pass laws, only businesses can provide positions and only people can allow it all. We are all in this together and by singling out one race over the other playes into the very corrupt hands you are trying to overcome. We, as a people, need to come together and fight against the corruption, as one. You are correct in your assessments, that comfort stunts growth, that bravery requires sacrifice and that risk allowes fear to drain away. However, seeing the color of a persons skin, or position of ones background, allowes for the evils of society to live in the first place. Please stop the separation, and support the comming together of our crumbling society. As 1 we can return to the free society we all deserve.

The biggest problem with this topic, for me, is....she says to be vulnerable, but in the same speech, “don’t share your story with people who haven’t earned the right to hear your story” so when can we be vulnerable? Not with everyone I guess? 🤷🏻‍♀️
