I have seen many interviews given by this man and he vividly describes the pain he still has to live with; the estrangement from his family, the psychological trauma he still lives with to this day, having to face the painful reality that the cops who framed him have never been charged and the fact that the crime for which he and the other five were wrongfully imprisoned has officially never been solved. This man will never heal.

Like the OP states, those who actually committed the crime were never brought to justice and the police involved facilitated that by _their_ criminal activity.
Besides, you cannot state for certain he'd have spent that amount of time behind bars, which you'd have realised, had you actually engaged your brain from the start!

@@billyandrew He had spent most of the 1960s in prison and then when he got out never worked. He also traveled regularly to Liverpool ,London,Glasgow to meet criminals including associates of the Krays which he boasts about in some interviews. It is highly likely he would have spent longer in Prison than he did.

The police and the judicial system in Britain have never been made accountable for what occurred under British Government directives to pursue Irish people and make 'convictions' happen in order British politicians' ends be met well after The Good Friday Agreement was finalised. All of us who were interned without trial, detained as I was without legal counsel or representation as a matter of course crossing The Irish Sea every occasion on an MI5 file, questioned with techniques (otherwise illegal in 'normal' constabulary policing) in which MI5 operatives were trained to make those questioned say whatever they wanted in closed statements constructed for us know exactly what this was to this day. The English (in the main) refuse to. The price simply for travelling on an Irish passport. My experience remains recount them the above the default response remains 'it didn't happen'.

They lie in court daily, fabricate evidence, to bent judges who are just has corrupt as the pigs. As paddy so eleqauntly puts it, 1 rule for us & 1 rule for them. The IRA pissed allover the west midlands police & they know it. Ask those poor families trying to get justice for their murdered family members. Ask them who slams every door shut in their faces. Yes the scum that is west midlands police. Who know they had an informar on their books. West Midlands police have has has much blood on its hands has does the British government for these deaths in Birmingham. That's the truth, that's why they have put a 75 years embargo on the official papers to cover up their blood on the government & west midlands police hands, complete scum both of them. That just want it to all go away. They don't give a monkeys toss about the victims , or their families. Their covering up their murders. Scum. There's nothing they won't do to stop their guilt coming out. The families can go f themselves has far has the government or west midlands police are concerned. Total scum.

The man said it very truthfully and honest. He is a very smart man. But he is correct. If you commit a crime and go to jail how can you get mad about it, you were the only one who put yourself there. But if your put in jail because of a lie and you did not commit the crime then everyday you will have more and more hate build up and want to lash out for being punished for a crime you did not commit. When you come out your bitter and want revenge on everything and everybody.. hate festers and gets no better over time, you just want to even the score...

When he says "when you are in jail you don't give a fuck about anything or anyone" well some jails don't have walls . . . .but have the same effect, especially when you are just a kid and you haven't lived life yet,
