And then later when they took over The Merry Fiddlers out in Dagenham, Essex. I just worked the bar. He was a quiet sort, never drank alcohol (took speed though) and always pleasant enough. You'd never guess his reputation by looking at him. I dont hink he mellowed, I think he just got older and wiser. RIP Albert.
