Typical middleclass mindset leads to being in the middleclass spectrum for generations. Wealth creation is important in the current trend as there is a massive indestructable wave to replace humas to AI in all sectors including the govenment sector.
No school can provide vslue when AI becomes a norm in all the sectors and when the childrens who are in whatever school end up as job seekers like a typical middleclass society. It leads to nowhere if parents still think that high standards lead to high growth which doesnt hspoen till the same parents move from salaried employee to a wealth generator.

Relax guys, your kid won’t be the next Elon Musk if you are paying 4.5lacs as fees to school. The best they could do is get an average job in an expensive city where they will pay half salary as taxes and other half in living expenses. When it comes to school fees, there is law of diminishing marginal returns. Every thing to be learnt is on RUclips, kids eventually find their way.

Very sensible comment about practicalities of life. Things will change only if we redefine what is Development and what is success. Today both are defined by the west and entire world system directly or indirectly abides by it.
Education and living , both needs to be holistic like our Rishi munis acharyas imagined. Else today's life is a one way street based on Kaama, Krodha, lobha, Moha, Mada and Marsarya ( one can look up the meanings online of these Sanskrit words)
I hope the relevant teaching authorities think about life holistically a little bit as they are creating the future of Bharat / India

I don't expect my kids to be topper but just understand the concepts, have social skills and respect the people around you. Anybody can be trained but we have to imbibe the discipline, dedication and manners in them. I want them to feel the joy of going to school. I am from ICSE and know the pressure. I don't want my kids to go through the same. The kids should interact with all the other kids(upper class, middle class and poor). This is when they will understand how the parents are struggling in day-to-day life to provide for them. Cheers!

The Indian education system is as old as the Nokia 6600 in the times of the M4 chip. For me, children just need to learn writing, speaking, reading, and all the basic survival skills like cooking, cleaning, traveling, etc. Once that's done, let them be aware of all the professions that exist in the world, such as photography, video editing, coding, music, dancing, designing, and business. Let teachers observe what they are good at without forcing the pressure of exams. Because with exams, anyone who is good at memorizing can score 100/100, but they will forget it after a month. Schooling should make children happier and encourage them to love coming every day. With this type of school, children will never bunk.
By 2044, there will be fewer jobs due to AI, automation, and overpopulation. The only way your children can survive is by having a business edge. So, instead of investing all your money in traditional education systems, invest in teaching them about business, and focus on building generational wealth that can be passed on to them.
    Thanks!

Not only that, most of these school keep the teacher's original education certificate and if a teacher wants them back for some purpose, they have to deposit one month salary aa security amount. How a teacher who is unsatisfied with the job can teach the children well ? These school managements are fooling the parents into thinking that as they are paying the hugh amount for exceptional quality education of their children. Parents should actually enquire the teachers salary before enrolling their children.

In reality 90% of the education can be learnt online + tutions, no need of any physical schools.
Second reality is that 70% of these children will be unemployed by 2045 no matter what they study.
Due to overpopulation +Ai+ Automation, jobs will be very less & salaries will be very low. Upper Middle class children have got used to lavish life & they will not work for very low wages. Thus most of these children will become a burden to parents as they will survive on their parents retirement income.

There are schools which take reasonable fee and still provide good education.. But they may not have the marketing gimmicks like big brand schools, which is fine.. More than kids, it's about parents..
There are category of parents who want to send kids to big brand schools for the brand name and show off in society.. Then there are parents who do not want to or don't have time to involve themselves in kids studies and think big branded school does some magic on kids and they will have higher IQ level..
But majority of parents choose big brand schools with high fees to showoff in their family and society..
If you know Bengaluru, then you can definitely find good schools with reasonable fees and only really required infrastructure..

CBSE Schools in pune , mumbai delhi on record they have all facilities like badminton , cricket , football , dance , music , arts , pottery club , robotics club , horse riding , basket ball , western bands , vocal and intsrumental music , infirmary , library , literary clubs , theatrical clubs , auditorium , amphitheater, jndoor games , full time faculty for sports and club and extra cullicullum activities and average total tution fee+ annual term fees varies from 70k to 1.1 Lac without transport , on record i can mention school names as well. On the contrary Bangalore cbse schools with half of this Infrastructure , average fees is from 1.7 to 2.5 lac per annum without transport , I can only guess the reason better control and regulation of department of education over private CBSE school can only lead to control fees , during Covid , CBSE schools in bangalore did not follow DoE circulars and continued charging semi annual fees , anuual fees and also transport fees .

I am 24 now and from my Lkg to post-graduation my parents spent a total of 12 lakhs on everything. Including everything means everything (from Schooling, transportation, tuition, food, clothes, pocket money !!) I studied in a small private school here and am currently at a decent place in life. Nowadays parents spend so much money on their children's education and co-curricular activities that 10 children like us can study with that money😂😂😂. Well tbvh it's all about quality education because it's a basic necessity. I have seen many people who are in a very good position in life today despite studying in government schools and I have also seen many people who are doing normal jobs today despite studying in from ICSE, CBSE schools. Lastly, more than where you are studying from, what you have studied and how much skill you have developed matters because at the end of the day, you will get money in life according to your skills. Well hats off to these parents!!

An expensive school is no guarantee of a child who learns, listens and becomes smart.
What makes a child smart is still available for free. A healthy balance of body exercise along with study time. Staying away from hollow 2d social media equations and spending time with real people across generations in the family. Developing empathy for all tasks and classes of work by physically helping out in home chorea including dusting and laundry.
Having outdoor holidays learning from nature instead of 5 star do nothing by the pool getaways. This develops a child smart enough to get into the IITS, NIDs and BiTS pilani of the world. How do I know - 3 generations of my family standing testimony to it. No tuition, no fancy school. The best colleges followed by great careers. Expensive schools exist because parents don't know any better but to monetarily compensate for their lack of availability and time

What do you aim to achieve from the schools ?
What should be the idea of education or what kids learn in schools ? Life skills? Business skills? Survival skills ? Sports? Economics ? Sustainability? God ? What ??
Education in school cannot encompass everyones whims, perspectives and fancies.
And kids developmental curve also should be considered ...at what age shoukd kids learn what ?
What is success as per you ?
Someone here said: united states, UK, any developed country where you are living among the whites where they pay you substantially more.
Wealth ? Work life balance ?
School prepares you for the front line of the race where you want to be. Depending on the race, you chose, you navigate school accordingly.
School alone doesnt determine anything. School also doesnt define anything. But the question becomes where do you want your child to spend the first few years of life.

English can always be learnt as a "language" skill. Sadly founding fathers of modern India didn't do anything about this (only realized this in 2020 in NEP) and even people of India having undue importance to english language. many parents themselves are bad at their native languages and kids are even worse.. I hope to see this change someday.

What is most important in life is the qualities that come from the heart, not from the head. Schools and teachers fill kids with stuff into their heads. That stuff allows kid to crack entrance exams, get into international universities etc but how the kid handles life when the going is not good is a big question. A kid who has a good heart will sail through life and relationships effortlessly even if he/she does not make too much money. What's more the relationship the kid has with the parents when the parents are old/sick counts more than anything else in the world
